can't load the terms of service page after making my cookie selection, worked fine on an iphone but will not load on my android. Based on the response to this i will be returning all smart home products from ikea and not buying anything else. My phone is not rooted and LineageOS is just android no differnt from a pixel or samsung or motorola OS. Disgusting behaviour. Even if i was rooted so what? Youre a flipping smart home app not a bank or financial service. Just Awful. Do better.

Lautsprecher verliert oft die Verbindung zum Fernbedienung. Im IKEA app zeigt dann den Lautsprecher als ob es offline wäre, obwohl über Sonos app noch gesteuert werden kann. Aber so über Fernbedienung dann nicht mehr. Dann muss ich alles deinstallieren und wieder installieren, dann geht es wieder für ein zwei Wochen.
This app doesn't even start "something went wrong" on GrapheneOS. Why does a simple app to control home automation require strong Play Integrity checks?! Even my banking apps don't need it, they want to keep customers... Reply: GrapheneOS is more secure than standard Android, it also not rooted or open bootloader. No banking app that I know of restricts running on strong Google Play Integrity. No "security" justifies blocking a home automation app from running on any device.

WARNING! This app does NOT work on custom Android ROMS/Rooted devices. It just shows the generic "Sorry, that didn't go as planned" error message. It requires a Strong Google play integrity, this is not a banking app! Great way to lock out millions of users on older devices. Custom ROMS is the only way to keep 2+ year out of support devices up to date with security updates. Avoid Dirigera HUB and this app at all costs and invest in an open source home automation hub/software like Home Assistant.
really disappointed that it seems to fail to be useable due to play integrity api. GrapheneOS should be accepted as it is a more secure OS. Please allow use of grapheneos
This app will not work without their own hub. The new smart lights with Matter do not need Ikea hub. Matter devices can use hub made by Apple and Google with built in Thread router.
Initial setup fails persistently with error "sorry, that didn't go as planned" after making the choice on analytics consent. I assumed at first this was due to an outage, but no change since a few days
Not working. Getting error message "Sorry that didn't go as planned" after accepting privacy statement.. no further info. Installed the iOS version on iPad and works perfectly fine there.
the app is terrible and with the latest update ruined my whole Ikea system. I am wondering how difficult is to rename the last stable version to be with latest namber and to push it as an update instead to look for the bug that the AI created during programming tha last 2.934.0 most "modern" update.... SHAME!!!!!

matter home bridge not working after trying for 1,5 hours and troubleshooting all possible scenarios!
Purchased 3 alpstuga, a dirigera, 2 plugs and 2 lamps. Google Home integration seems to be completely broken. While the lamps sometimes show on Google home, the alpstuga are missing, dirigera shows as offline. Very limited information on how to troubleshoot the connection/pairing issues.
works well but the control anywhere is working very spotty. Either it says the hub needs wifi or it "works" but it isn't showing its turning lights off or on Edit: lamps going offline. All of a sudden lamps are going offline throughout the house. Was working fine up until the 22nd update: has gotten even worse. Lamps are now very often offline. Wasn't a problem up until a few days ago

Can't update my hub from Version 2.556.3, after updating it keeps restarting and jumps back to the 2.556.3 firmware. Tried to contact customer support on phone and they didn't had a clue (Humgary), via emails no response. I have changed my hub already and it has the same problem. Would appreciate a solution.

Nope this very unuseful app. Nothing is possible, basically check firmware version of components, updates, terrible scenes maker. Please consider to switch to home assistant with AI instead as your primary app. Your App development is too slow with minimalistic progress I see during year of usage.
app doesn't work at all
Purchased 2 Kajplats E27 bulbs.Impossible to add to our Dirigera hub.The original Tradfri bulbs connected without issues.Ikea can have it all back and we will be expecting a refund. Abysmal product

Unless you have the Ikea hub, do NOT buy any of the new smart items Ikea has come out with. (eg: Bilresa switch's) They claim matter compatibility but that is false. I tried both Google home and Alexa and was only able to get something to connect once, and then the switch had barest functionality.. on off.. that's it.. and it wouldn't work with all my lights, just the hue lights.
uninstalling and returning all of my products. since new update nothing works, things changing rooms don't respond and can't connect to dirigera. and yes, I have reinstalled reset and restart every single one of my products. and this is a process that takes several hours. thank you ikea for releasing non working products.

The application is buggy. Matter/Thread device pairing is tedious and painful and almost never works on the first try. The charts do not show the correct values on the timeline and do not update correctly. It is not possible to reliably move devices between rooms. It is not possible to change detailed settings of the Thread network. No options to integrate with non Ikea products - e.g. no web hooks. No widgets. Overall, a poorly written and untested application.
Absolute Garbage, email verification fails all the time, hence the intergration to Google home is impossible. Tried everything, was advised to deactivate ipv6 deactivate dns filtering nothing worked, my router had these options deactivated in the first place and the app just won't verify my email. Always getting an error "Sorry, that didn't go as planned". literally given up at this point, absolute Garbage and waste of money.
refuses to recognise or connect to my just purchased hub. all lights on the hub are lit and flashing per the instructions
works poorly, really hard to dim lights. takes several menus to get too
as always a disaster to connect new lights (had to do everything over after the mandatory switch from tradfi). lights connected to a single outlet =more hassle. too bad hoped it to be better, but it is worse. you cannot connect with remote anymore and since the app doesn't work you're stuck with no lights
It seems IKEA just downright prevents me from using the app. My phone runs Graphene OS and when agreeing or disagreeing with data sharing, I just get "Sorry, that didn't go as planned.". It happens as soon as the app queues the Play Integrity API. I sincerely hope this is an oversight from the developers part. Ikea has nothing to do with what operating systems I use. I'd like to add that at no point does IKEA mention that using stock Android is necessary.
App fails to start - thanks for nothing! I am using GrapheneOS and it seems the app requires Google Play "strong" integrity. Therefore it simply fails to start and stops directly after the privacy consent page. Why?!? Why not using hardware attestation? Why these strong security level in the first place. So, all banking apps work, but IKEAs coders know better... Thanks for nothing.
recent update broke Matter QR generation, when I click "Create Matter Bridge" on the hub's integration settings nothing happens. everything (app, hub fw) is with latest versions: Dirigera hub fw: 2.901.4 Ikea app: 1.57.1
Dumb app, makes working with lights, motion sensors, and sceneries a living nightmare.
stop banking graphene os when verifying api
Incompatible with Pixel 4a. Just installed the app and during startup I get "sorry that didn't go as planned". I guess the app doesn't run on my Pixel 4a
