For some reason, I'm no longer able to rate titles. This is a new issue that's arisen in the past two months. So strange.

I just tried to sign up and I couldn't make it because you people say I have the wrong email because somebody's got that email that is the only email I have so how can somebody have my email I guess you don't want me as a customer
this app used to be great, but now the ads are too big and intrusive and I end up clicking them and being taken out of the app because they fall directly in the way as you try to click something.
How do I watch, stream or download movies on the app?

App gets less and less useful with every iteration. Still true. The app has really slowed down dramatically as the versions roll out. Interface is cluttered. Ads are now extremely intrusive.

Requires me to create an account and login to read reviews - completely unnecessary invasion of privacy to access the basic review functionality of the app. I don't want to register so the app has become useless after years of being my go to for review information. Another example of things getting worse not better with updates. Edit: Later update seems to have rolled back on the sign-in requirement, so I can access user reviews again
The mobile app has a lot of bugs. If you want to see a full filmography, the links don't work. Sometimes, you can't find what you're looking for, because it limits how much you can see. I'm signed in but can't write reviews, because "something went wrong." This has been going on for a few years. I've uninstalled and reinstalled. It seems the focus is more on ad placement than actual database.
The program started showing ads, I had to delete it.
The ads in this app are actually insane. MASSIVE ads taking up the whole screen, some ads load right as you tap the screen thus making you tap them instead. I'vr actually seen mobile games with less intrusive ads than this.
I'm using the latest version of the app. It's not compatible with the Galaxy s26+. I can't add anything to favorites, nor can I view a person's Filmography page (no filters and I checked famous pages - it's all blank). I can still search without issue, so at least there's that.

You literally can barely do anything without signing in
for some reason I can't get an actor's filmography to load. have tried removing and then downloading the app again but no luck.

Full of annoying ads. Every spare mm of space has been crammed with ads. This app is just not that wonderful. It is just marginally faster to look for an answer here than a search engine, oh wait, no it's not anymore since gemini took over. I honestly forget this app is on my phone for weeks at a time🤭.
This used to be an awesome app. I am not sure what happened in the recent months and updates. There is nothing now in any of the movies or shows. go to a character if its listed and there isn't anything listed for the actors other rolls. no trivia. no credits for some shows. not even episodes listed for some shows. this sucks because IMDB is fun to visit for the trivia or credits. now i will have to use the website which isn't bad but annoys me with the "please use the app" harassment.

whats up with your app lately?!?! everytime i try to click on and actors entire movie career, its empty. kind of annoying. I have a galaxy s26 and its all up to date

Update June 2026: Last app update broke it. Since last update the format of the home page has changed - not a fan. There also seem to be a few bugs. The Filmography link goes to a blank page, the individual episodes list of TV series are also blank, I can only view the main page. Frustrating. Minusing stars until this is sorted. / Am an avid movie watcher so, for me, this app is indispensable. Use it for reference every day. Love the Trivia & Goofs sections and enjoy scanning the User Reviews.

I am using a Samsung S23 ultra but still the app feels laggy
How come when you look up an actor, and view their filmography it comes up with a big fat empty zero. Nothing listed. The app is broken.
