I hate app that ask you to sign up before you even get to try the app.
I've been charged $114.99AUD and I've never even opened your app. please advise your email details as I urgently need to contact your customer service department. Thank you
absolutely not. makes you sign up, answer a few questions, then suddenly tells you that you need to pay for a subscription to even use the app LOL. just don't even make the app free at that point. ridiculous.
Can't even do a single lesson without being part of a free trial that leads into paying for the app. Pass.
No prior notice that this app is subscription-based with no free tier. If I had known that information upfront, and not after a bunch of questions about my learning habits, I might have tried it. For an app that focuses on philosophy and learning, I hate their billing philosophy. They corner the user to pay or try a free trial. Billing terms should improve, and this practice should quite literally be illegal. Wasted my time signing up, but I won't waste time deleting it.
Seems nice but couldn't even start the first course because anytime I tried it put me into a limbo of start course and then immediately tried to make me buy a subscription with no way around it lol. whatever. poojeets ruin everything
scammers !!! be careful with the subscription . 7 days free trial but 5 days to cancel the subscription so It's a kind of scam. If you wait until day to cancel the subscription, probably they'll charge you for one year. approx 100€.
a money extorting app is all it is. just why is their a subscription on everything these days.
I should be able to try it before I make an account
Bait. I have it a chance. Money hungry.
terrible, just one of those make money out of every click scams
they stole my benefit money please help anybody
I am getting ZERO benefit from this app. Change your "Back up payment method" in google play or don't try this app's trial. I regretted not doing so. To me, this app has charged me over 100 dollars for nothing. Make sure you find something in it worth 100+ bucks before trial.
Basically unusable without entering your credit card. app keeps asking to start trial before I even know what it really does
I will always pay for an app commensurate to it's value. This app is promoted as a free app - while the app itself is free, none of the content is available without payment. The "free trial" period is not actually free. You will be charged within that period. The promises of value in the welcoming sequence is very hard-sell, leading to a financial commitment without any proven benifit. the cost is high compared to the value of the content, and it absolutely isn't "free" as it is marketed.
Endless settings, the a pay wall.
ROBS YOU OF YOUR MONEY DOBT SUBSCRIBE
in order to use anything on the app, you have to subscribe. I'm sure they're betting on people to forget to cancel the free trial.
I just tried it once then I get an 80$ dollar charge. what a scam
just mark it as a paid app...
locked behind a compulsory paywall
doesn't even let you use it unless you accept subscription. subscription for everything these days. this is not the way anymore, people have core subscriptions. why would anyone use this instead of catering their own Instagram / Reddit themselves. not everything deserves a subscription sorry.
absolutely terrible. you simply cannot proceed in doing a single thing with this app unless you give them your credit card or debit number. this is an incredibly flawed concept because you don't even let a user even try a single thing or absolutely free with zero strings attached. every time you click next during the introduction to the application, you're just going on about the reviews about how great your app is. there's no way I'm getting sucked into this.
another subscription.
warning. do not subscribe to this app.
$75 a year.... you don't get to see that until you sit through 10 minutes of hype.
Any "free" app that requires a paid subscription to even acess the basics should be reported and banned.
can't use it without paying for the subscription
worthless
No unsub button. Major red flag! The free trial thing feels like a way to get your credit card info and the app is designed so that you have a hard time finding a way to unsubscribe. The content is shallow or somewhat Twitter size bites of information.
Deceptive to try and get you to buy the subscription. Not free.
lots of comments about people being charged incorrectly. subscription model looks to be a money grab. uninstalled.
on-boarding is terrible. too many questions and advertising. gave up during on-boarding
In app purchase leads you to believe there is a free version. Very misleading. oh well, potential customer lost.
to see if the app will be of any use to you, you HAVE to give your card details for free trial, no way around. how about no? here is your 1 star, cuz cant give zero
Beware of their deceptive practices around subscriptions. They charged me $74.99, having only installed the app and using it for less than ten minutes.
The app has you answering a bunch of questions before hitting you with a paywall
they frame it up like philosophy, but it's just self help bs. also, why are there like 50 "continue"s when starting the app... just get on with it.
Showing the subscription price after this many questions is a scam - they stole my time.
The app is ok but the advertisement and onboarding are misleading. I clicked on an app about a biology/botany game. It then took me through a series of questions about my interests. Once I was done it then asked me to sign up for a trial subscription and download the app. When I downloaded the app, I was surprised to learn the topics recommended and available were unrelated to the topics I initially selected in the previous step. I also found out the app was not a game but a book summary app.
Hits you with the required subscripcion after you answered 10 minutes of questions.
you think it's free
another anti-scrolling scam for money... it takes an eternity to get to the actual content and once you do, it cannot be opened uless you give your bank details...
pay wall
puking ina panay ads
it doesn't work well. i can't even proceed with the free trial
couldn't get it to work. went round and round in circles
You have to pay to use this app and it's fake new, the free one for 2 days, you can't use it if you haven't paid.
i thought this is gonna be free
There are only a couple of real courses, but mostly the app is an excuse to advertise books and incentivise you to buy it. Disappointing.
