puking ina panay ads
it doesn't work well. i can't even proceed with the free trial
couldn't get it to work. went round and round in circles
You have to pay to use this app and it's fake new, the free one for 2 days, you can't use it if you haven't paid.
i thought this is gonna be free
There are only a couple of real courses, but mostly the app is an excuse to advertise books and incentivise you to buy it. Disappointing.
This is one of the biggest pieces of garbage I have ever installed. Are you ten years or age, or have an understanding of the the world close to the average 10 year old? Want to know things? Then install this. If you are a "grown up" that knows some things, at least, do not bother. Garbage, and likely totally brought to you by AI
don't ever install this app because before you open it you need to pay to open. I'm so very y disappoint 😞😞 this app 😞😞😞 it's such a big scum 😡😡😡😡
there's no preview to lessons... can't try it free unless you register with your credit card... read other 1 star reviews before installing.
I decided to try the free trial and when it was over. They've tried to charge me $90 continuously for about a week or so. If you want a great learning app that's FREE. I highly recommend kinnu. I've been using that for a couple of years and I've found it much better and more importantly. it's FREE
The ad claims it was designed by Harvard professors and cognitive scientists, but no names are given. It claims to be a Google app of the Year, but does not link to our describe the specific award. For the trial it wanted my credit card details, so I looked up the other reviews and it seems to be a scam, taking your money before the free trial is up. Thank you other reviewers for allowing me to avoid this scam.
This is not a free App don't waste your time or else you pay for subscription
I never applied for this app they take money without your knowledge
same miserable experience as others here. signed up for trial, couldn't use app without credit card info. tried a bit, decided to not go with it and unsubscribed/deleted app. unfortunately got charged immediately for a full year. was not aware of it. can't seem to get it back. feels like being scammed.
ask me 10 minutes of questions just to join. then forces me to give my credit card information before even using the app.
it's scam. Will bother you with subscribers page without without letting you try the app
When I'm asked to pay for a year subscription before I've started a free trial it tells me everything I need to know. This app is just a cute gimmick.
"in app purchases" no, you need to pay to do anything. answer a bunch of questions and every other thing is about how great it is, should have been the red flag of you need to pay to do anything. you also can't do the free trial without subscription.
can't use it without paying
colects my data trough a quiz and then tells me i have 2 day free to try!
BEWARE. This app takes your money before it's due. I paid for a months trial (£3), and this app tried to take a years subscription payment, without permission 3 weeks before it was due. I cancelled my subscription, froze my card and they are still trying to take my money. Underhand practices, be careful.
its not free. youre forced to answer their survey and then are prompted to pay to even see what the app has to offer
dont ask gazillion onboarding questions just to show the payment screen. you get 1 star for wasting my time!
Don't believe them when they say they will notify you 2 days before they charge you. Tried to cancel and they still ripped me off for $79.95
read the comments first. almost subscribed.
I expected some free features at the bare minimum. I understand if a company needs to make money, but why did you make me make an account to continue only for you to ask for a sum of money just to use the app? My review is therefore justified because I never really got to see what the app was about, I only saw the paywall
they fraudulently charged me the fee even though I cancelled before the end of the trial and they also charged me two foreign currency fees fraudulently. avoid
Got suckerd into a charge of$75 !! I did not consent to purchase anything! they do not offer refunds! do not put your credit info ever!!
Pushing subscription so hard it wasnt possible to assess what they had to offer. Whatever it was Id be shocked it was worth letting them tap my bank account on a permanent basis. Find a better business model.
I recently tried this app because it offered a 7-day free trial, so I decided to give it a chance. During the signup process, I entered my billing information, expecting that I wouldn’t be charged unless I continued after the trial period. However, I was surprised and frustrated to see that I was charged $8.60 (around ₱499) even before I intended to continue using the service. This experience was very disappointing because the app was not clear enough about its billing terms.
tries to get you to click on the 2day trial then get you into a $79.00 a month subscription or something, you cant use this app without a subscription.
I don't appreciate being deceived by marketing stunts. Just tell me it is a fully paid app and that you need credit card to sign up. I hate this kind of stunt. I would have been likely to become a paid customer had they allowed me to actually test it. I'm not giving you any payment information for a "free" trial.
Impossible to find a way to unsubscribe. dont waste your money.
I wasn't able to do any free learning. The promotion pop-up keeps appearing in an endless loop.
based on reviews who's installing this?? Not I..
The introduction to the app uses white writing on a White background making it completely unreadable and the whole app completely unusable.
If they would just stop asking us a million questions before we get to the app on wouldn't have deleted it before I try !!
Never got to any lesson... it just kept asking dumb questions and saying how it won awards. I can't figure out how to use it. Maybe it just takes 30min to setup?
15.99 a month for what amounts to a trivia app for Ancient Roman history is obscene
I've used excellent apps for months that respect my privacy and let me play without ever demanding a credit card or a forced sign-up. This app does the opposite-it lures you in with a long questionnaire to get you 'invested', then hits you with a mandatory payment screen before you can even see the interface. I'm not willing to hand over personal info or a credit card just to see what an app does. If a game is actually good, it shouldn't need to trap users behind a paywall before trying it.
The app is good, but you're conned into a free trial period with a £40+ subscription with no warning, and impossible to find the refund or help option. Classic bait and hope they get distracted tactics. I'll update this if they respond well
Fishes all sorts of marketing and personal questions, promises exciting learning countless apps and sites provide with ads, for free, or with upgrade options or decor to support the creators, but no. This AI-centric scam forces extreme subscription fees forever no matter what you do, after a week when you forget about it no less. Cancel scams. Would Clippy steal your money? No.
0 free functionality, which is fine just be honest and upfront about that. The description should read $70-120p.a.
Insanely long onboarding. Too long. Too personal couldn't finish it.
pay wall wont even let you try the app for free.
Beware - feels very scammy Quiz promises a personalised experience but never delivers - I signed up for history and was recommended psychology. The visual style and writing style are childish, and the actual history "courses" (more like PowerPoints) would not be enough for a month, never mind a year. I also encountered numerous UI hurdles in the cancellation process, which had to be done on their webpage rather than in Play. All very disappointing in an app that advertises Harvard involvement.
Makes you go through numerous steps to get started only to find out you have to pay to get started. Scammy!
subscribed to the monthly plan and was charged for the annual plan. do not recommend!
This app has a weird quiz thing asking a lot before you can even create an account to see if it's any good. terrible user experience
Not free to try.
