I do not have any product here and I've been here all afternoon
place order a day in advance 3 hour delivery window, delayed repeatedly then when I try to cancel they want to charge a fee...garbage
my order was suppose to here around 11am but now am getting reports for it to be late around 2pm in the afternoon and that not what I paid for, plus instacart don't tell me about the rest of the items or anything else that should be on Walmart or dollar tree it's like they don't want me to order the goods stuff compared to using Walmart they have everything but not instacart at Walmart on the instacart app.
do not use this app I have been scammed by people who work for instacart trust me do not use it

I've been attempting to communicate with customer service and just get "Hi Jamesdionysis, Thank you for reaching out to Instacart. I’m sorry you have faced this issue with your order. We would never want our customers to face such an issue, as you are a loyal.."
The app is ok but the service is HORRIBLE. YOU WONT CONSISTENTLY GET YOUR ORDERS. Personal Shopper PATRICK here in Little Rock AR cancelled order after shopping it saying he forgot his card in the car and the store closed. Order was cancelled. no support from instacart. THIS IS LIKE THE 4TH TIME , good luck if you use this service in the future. it's a luck of the draw wether you get your items or not. 👎🏾
If there is a " buy one, get one free' deal, don't expect to receive the second item. And don't expect anyone at Instacart to account for it.
they accept orders when the store is closed even when you pay the priority fee and then the order is rescheduled for the next day. what's the point?! terrible customer service too
Issues with tracking inventory. The app shows an item as "many in stock" however when the shopper goes to shop it is out of stock. it's not uncommon for me to be missing over half of my list because it is out of stock even though the app shows that many are in stock. The other issue is that if you pay extra for fast delivery and the delivery shows up late, it's almost impossible to get the fee refunded. instacart lost a lawsuit over this but it looks like they haven't really changed anything
Can't remove items anymore, only "add to order".

FYI: DO NOT pay that extra fee for PRIORITY delivery. It's a scam and your delivery does not get prioritize.

they delivered my order to the wrong house I was not happy. I had to settle for something other than what I wanted through Uber Eats they get stuff out to you at your house. tried to contact the driver 2 times said wrong house and not even an apology or anything else like re-delivery from mistake house. I usedd this app a few times this was 2nd time and I decided to stop using and delete it. incompetence is all I have to say. and my night was ruined having to settle for something else.

Support lies & ignores facts. New rules force us to accept batches or ratings drop. If a batch has only 1 item & it's not on the shelf or in stock, they refuse to pay for gas/time. It's a trap: I've proof from Ulta & Staples that bumps are possible, but agents & supervisors lie saying it's 'impossible.' When they can't answer, they just end the chat on purpose. You're forced to take orders for rating, but work for free if items are missing. Systematic deception. Not a partnership. Beware
live customer service is horrible. they will hang up on you!! I contacted them about a simple $4 refund for an incorrect order (twice in one day!) and was hung up on by their "support" team.

I've been ordering with instacart for years and using ebt. They now have an offer that says if you used ebt in the last 6 months your eligible for instacart+ for $4.99 a month for 12 months. How is it possible that ive been ordering all this time with ebt my last order being 4/25/26 and the one before that 4/23/26 and before that in March and so on, but im not eligible for the deal? Customer is stupid, the app is stupid and im over it. Ill go shop in store
Stills your money - don't use
very scamming. they will charge you a fee, not notify you, then when you try to call and do online chat to get refunded since you never authorized the charge they just continue to hang up on you and end the chat. They should notify you that your trial ended and it won't show that your being charged that fee, it will just show the amount for the groceries, so when you see why was a charged so much, it cause they tack on a fee. very unprofessional in my opinion. I can also post pictures

I want to like Instacart, but the app is horrible. Lately nothing works, images don't load, can't shop at half the stores, can't contact support. Time to go back to DoorDash.
