absolutely horrible experience with this app if its a problem on their end (ai) your held responsible. The important details are hidden (time location start date hours ect) and are a surprise to you when you book a gig apps slow to respond kept saying I needed to complete a interview but gives no option to do so.. gave me no available information to decide if a gig would be fitting also less than 12hr notice before a gig im sorry I feel its dehumanizing to be treated like a machine.

Terrible app. I tried to book shifts and it prompted me to check my email to enter a security code after signing up for the shift. I accidentally exited the app to get to my email. The shift disappeared and I can't find it anymore. It will kick you out and you aren't able to sign up if you email requires a web browser. I contacted support, but they never respond back. You are much better off with Doordash or Instacart than this app, not to mention most offers are more than 70 miles away.
worked 5 shifts they refuse to pay for one whole 9 hour day due to a app malfunction despite admitting even their own GPS tracking puts in the building working. this app.is purely designed to peddle underpaid shifts and steal alreadd poor peoples wages. Run dont walk away from this scam!

trash got like 5 shifts after that its impossible to get more
this is too much to explain and will put me in bad head place to explain the details. long story short, Im a hard worker, and anybody can tell you that. all my temp gigs try to hire me. for some reason instawork terminated my account claiming I got several complaints about my performance. Im not sure what they have going on but My profile speaks for itself and I have the managers number which is the odd part. best part is customer service takes days to return your inquires. Not worth 1 star
The concept of this app is great, however with nothing anywhere within 20 miles of me it's very disappointing.

I don't need 50 notifications a day about jobs. if I was interested in the job I would have taken in the first notification.
this platform allows people to be attacked by the partners these people are not looking for actual help for job to be done they are looking for someone to torture & causing a hostile work environment and harassment & bully you discriminatory they do more of attacking than managing & making sure a job is getting done what they half the time they don't care about the job to get done but then again certain people they want to enforce for them to do the job they don't even follow their own rules

Had given the app 5 stars until my account got suspended because I was at a job and couldnt clock in waited for 2 hours on support that never answered me and then they suspended my account for a no show. Sent them the screenshots of me there and the chat and they denied my appeal. You can never talk to an actual person. This is the worst customer support because there isnt any its all bots.
No shifts available within the city, other shifts are over 40 miles away with low wage pay. The app is either broken or a scam, theres no option to contact customer support about the shifts being posted with no company name

This app is so useless for a first-timer. I cant even sign up to jobs. there is no list because "i am new" so I have to sit here and wait until a notification pops up. then, sometimes when I click the notification, NOTHING SHOWS. So I have to wait. and wait. and wait some more. I completely understand not giving me jobs until all the pros have time to sign up. but seriously? I find one I can sign up on and it starts in 12 minutes. Atleast give me a LIST of jobs I can work nearby!!
can't talk to a real person when there's an issue and it takes forever to update your info if needed. I'm happy with the people and companies I've gotten to know but man this app is terrible as far as support.
terrible!!! i completed 19 shifts in 1 week. And they canceled my jobs cause they said my background check didn't come back yet, and they took hundreds of dollars from me. why did they let me complete the job. Before my background check comes back. So that was my first week I don't understand how they take my money out of my count. After i've already completed the job. also, some of the jobs wouldn't let me clock in and other shifts wouldn't let me Verify the day before.

They try to racially profile you with all these phone call interviews when you used to be able to just click on the job. Also it's intentionally saying that my liquor serving license is expired when its not. To keep me from getting jobs.
so I signed up and before I had someone check my forms I found out its illegal for them to ask you to do this. they are supposed to do it on there side. on top of that there are so many lawsuits im scared to even try the app which sucks because it does look like it pays good.

ALSO REMOVING $850+ WORTH OF ALREADY SCHEDULED SHIFTS!!!! AND I HAVE PROOF OF EVERY SINGLE DETAIL!!! 623 ARRIVED 630A JOB START TIME - CAPTAIN CALL AT 8:01AM!!!! 1.5HOURS AFTER THE FACT!!! AND I GET DEACTIVATED?!?!?! I DROVE 62 MILES!!! 1.5 HOURS!!
signed up for this last night and did the phone AI interview. Woke up to a notification that someone was trying to use my card for Amazon. I have no subscriptions so it's not that. holy fraud.
it will take two to three weeks to get payment issues resolved. Will work a job then not get paid for 2 to 3 weeks but I'm supposed to get paid the same day. can't get customer service on the phone it's AI but it takes AI nearly 24 hours to respond and that's glitchy. got sent to job locations that weren't there. Road 50 mi to a job location it was a empty lot. got customer service on the phone I was not compensated for my time or gas. I'm about to give up on this app. I'm losing money
unusable I cant even apply for one job it just gets stuck on a loading screen
this app could be much, much better if they would send out notifications hrs before the shift starts and not 30 minutes before shift starts. and they are very terrible at paying on time and lack of communication, no point an instapay you won't get it on time
They did a background check and it came back good then when I went to sign up for a gig they did another background check and its been 2 weeks with no response. I got the background within 2 days from the company and the app still says they are reviewing it.
there's a bug for my device.
this app really sucks and the fact there isnt a human to talk too. im over it they play with people money. DO NOT USE THIS APP. I wish I could give it no stars. not a good app
the ranking they give you for different types of jobs is not accurate at all. for example I am a professional truck driver with 9 years of experience however I'm ranked low for a driver. but other jobs that I have absolutely no experience in I'm ranked highly.
No live support. Waitlisted feature does not work. I tried to get help but I keep getting an AI generated bot that keeps repeating the same thing over and over again. Now I'm losing money.
Worst Customer Service I've dealt with. They use a cheap AI to manage help questions before it transfers to a real human. Almost daily that I've run into other folks who are distressed or in financial ruin because of the severe lack of customer service attention. For one they are still illegally posting jobs in San Francisco under the minimum wage which is a violation of labor laws...
For over 2 weeks I haven’t been able to confirm shifts in the app. Support is just AI repeating the same questions with no resolution. Emails go to an unmonitored inbox and there’s no phone support. My shifts are getting canceled, affecting my pay and ratings. Instawork is great-until you need help. I can’t work if I can’t confirm shifts. Which is not my fault. The app is not allowing me to confirm. So far 3 shifts have been canceled. Hopefully this will get InstaWork's attention.
support is not at all what it should be. Clients can call directly, but the workers have to fight an AI that can't remember what you said seconds ago and really had no access to any details . I got gold level, and it turns out that one of the listed rewards, instapay, isnt a reward after all. there is no difference between having gold and platinum status or not for getting instapay. no phone for worker support and the ratings responsible for access to shifts are not clear. there is more.
