Not accurate unfortunately says things are safe to eat which contain allergens. could be very dangerous
Accepted my 7 day trial and then had to restart questions multiple times. never got to use app as an error kept coming up. I better not get charged.
poor experience. first install tool me to payment which I completed and it took my details. then it locked out and I couldn't clear it without a restart. post restart opened the app and had to go through install again and again it locked up. I have deleted the app. a shame as it could have been useful.
Just says cant find product and I scanned 5 things that have been around for a while
You basically pay to have AI make slop recipes and images that might not even be accurate. Huge letdown. Hate that I even paid $3.
paywall
this used to be a free app and now it is not. I now have to pay for a plan just to make sure that I don't kill my niece everyday she comes over. I like to double-check and make sure everything that I have in my house because sometimes I get new things and like to make sure I put them in my cupboard that is safe for her. so thanks for taking away an actually useful app for people who actually need it.
Dieci minuti di setup per poi scoprire che è solo a pagamento
Not free. Does say 'In app purchases'. Thought would be to unlock extra features - which is typical for other apps. Kept asking me for close to $70 (AUD) for a subscription -therefore, not paying once. Just be honest & have the price there. Have to download to find out. I wouldn't have downloaded it if I knew it was $70. I deselected payment options for the free trial, but a window pops up, still asking me for payment. That isn't a free trial if you're still expected to pay. Uninstalled.
must pay for the app. its not outrageous but it was annoying to spend 10 minutes listing everything out just to realize I can't afford the app. was also disappointed to see AI being a main feature advertised in app
it should say upfront it's a paid prescription and functionless without
trash. worst app. Maybe try use AI with caching ingredients by name. And fix your camera scanner?
Another free app that basically makes itself useless unless you pay
Started well, but now I'm picking up more intolerance ingredients than the app, I'm paying for a product i now can't trust, being dyslexic I really need something like this to reply on. I'm disappointed 😞
Expensive
Be upfront about your paywall; there is no free version of this app, you have to pay to use it after agreeing to everything and sharing your allergies.
🛑 "In-app purchases" means a 100% pay wall to even use the app AT ALL. "Free app" immediately hits you with an ad that feels like a natural part of the setup steps until you get to "pay $10 to unlock the pro version." OK... Annoying and misleading, but dismiss and finally get to USING the app.... now search for something you're going to eat.... you see a lock icon 🔒. Click it or the filter or anything else and... "Click here to start the pro trial for 7 days, then pay $10." 😮💨👎
I tried it for my sister, she is lactose intolerant, so I clicked on no lactose and scanned an item, some normal cheese with dairy in it. The product was not registered jet so I tried the ingredient scanner and it showed, that cheese could be eaten with no problem. Well there is a problem, that cheese has cow milk in it, it was written in big letters. My sister is lactose intolerant so NO cow milk.
Free version is basically useless. I typed in the fruit that I wanted to eat, but it gave me no information on that without upgrading the app. One has to to get the pro version to check any food.
I downloaded it and scanned grape juice - it told me incompatible as it has chicken in. Then scanned nettle tea and was told that it had veal and nuts in. Absolutely would not trust this app to keep me safe.
The word NUTRITION triggers NUT warning in ingredient scanner thus rendering EVERY scan Not Compatible. I just can't tolerate this! It's such an obvious error. I didn't bother looking for other but nothing I scanned including water gave a compatible result. At this rate, I'll die. Can't justify paid version unless this improves greatly.
Didn't recognise any of the food packages that I scanned
Not free
It doesn't scan
From the moment I loaded and tried this app it was giving me false information. For example, it appears to be AI - key word driven as the ingredients will say Soy- free or dairy- free but the result will come up as incompatible because of soy or dairy. Only had this app for a couple days days.
it WAS Great till update, now it doesn't recognize any barcodes. Was a life changer for me, now its a aggravating. UPDATE App is updated, duh still doesn't accept barcodes and majority of the time it doesn't recognize ingredients. Not worth messing with! I see it now as a waste of money and time trying to make it work!! It WAS Great, sad!
I see the potential, but as of now, it's unusable. It's somewhat buggy, a lot of information is misleading or plain wrong. I end up having to google every single ingredient anyway. To charge for it is a crime. I better stick to FODMAP lists and a reliable detailed food diary app like My Symptoms.
Idk, everything is pay so it's hard to say, not sure why this needs a subscription.
No free tracking / diary Subscription bait
Too many incorrect histamine listed foods. Also, very small database of foods. Half the stuff i looked up wasnt listed. See potential. But it's just too basic at the moment.
Pretty interface. But completely unreliable... As someone who's lived the low-FODMAP diet since childhood my mind is like an encyclopedia for tested fermentable carbohydrates - and many of these foods are totally erroneous. Like cashews for example are notoriously HIGH fodmap, but this app says they are totally cool. It also fails to provide any information on dosage. I would suggest ppl get separate apps for each of their intolerances
Conflicting information on some ingredients, scanner picks up junk eg 'gluten-free' as gluten, 'nut-free' as nut etc. which is common on Australiam labels. Barcode scanner useless in Australia, which isn't surprising and could be forgiven if the ingredient scanner worked well. Great concept and I hope it can be made to work with Australian labels, but in its current form it's not useful at all.
