This app is useless! Can't even use it on my phone as it keeps telling me to use the web browser so what even is the point? The self employed version is what I normally use but even that hasn't been working properly as it isn't syncing my invoices to my earned income on my dashboard, the bank connection keeps failing & the whole app keeps resetting if I have to go out of it for a minute & come back in so if I dont save anything I have to keep starting again. Very frustrating!
absolutely awful...my first experience will probably prevent me from using them again.
awful app , had an unresolved issue for weeks regarding pay by bank working and instead of fixing it just removed the function entirely, so now it's only pay by card (which has higher rates/fees for transactions). greedy company who won't even give you your subscription money back if their not providing you parts of their service anymore. just look somewhere else , this company doesn't deserve your money. let me be clear , they emailed me saying they REMOVED pay by bank because no longer viable
doesn't offer anything for free, wants me to pay before I'm even able to use the app. how do you expect me to know if I like the app enough to pay for it..? especially with all these horrible reviews. no way, uninstalled.
an app that tracks mileage and expenses has one function- to open when you click it whether on wifi or data. I'm behind with lots of accounts because I used to do them on the train and snap receipts in restaurants and taxis but now I have to try several times before it opens, even on the WiFi at the office. very very poor
The phone app for some reason does not store all my expenses from years back and customer support couldn't find out the reason for this, had to redo it all manually to then see that everything is there when logging onto my laptop. Deleted and reinstalled the app back on my mobile device, but still shows only from last year to this year. The only option given was to upgrade to pay a ridiculous high amount just to have my work backed up and saved. Wow!! Not worth what I am paying now!
Since updating the app it no longer lets me sign in and repeatedly tells me to head to the web after authentication (even after clearing cache, which works once). It was fine before. Now useless.
it won't let me log in on my phone
Gone downhill. Used to be a great app, now it's double the price and rarely works. Becoming rather inefficient to send invoices, will be looking for another app/software to use.
Terrible. The app never syncs transactions. when I log in online then they show, and eventually then appear in the app. then when you try to record a payment, again the transaction isnt available. shocking platform. looking for an alternative
cant access the app. have signed up payed the £50 anual subscription and now it proprs me to sign up for a £20 per month or £200 per year subscription. it will not allow my to proceed past this page despite having already payed.
I would give 0 starts, but its not an option. After upgrading from quickbooks self-employed to self employed plus for MTD purposes invoice numbers have reset, every bank transaction has been de-catigorised (thousands of transactions not accounted for now), I have duplicate expances and duplicate invoices... basically, the app is now unusable. I have reported it to Quickbooks twice and have been promised an update on the 20th June. If it doesn't appear, I'll be finding new software.
The app is useless, doesn't load half the time, you can't do anything useful. Another company claiming AI when its not.

Terrible business app. Randomly cannot deposit checks or transfer money in. The only options left charged me fees to move money in. No one can tell me why I randomly can't deposit checks after depositing multiple. I've heard "eligibility" but they won't tell you what makes you eligible or not. Most of the support people were clueless. Cancelled my subscription and switched bookkeeping apps. Just randomly couldn't deposit checks one day with no warning or explanation.
INTUIT Quickbbooks BACK Their EMPLOY SCAMMERS! Their scammers call and tell you that your information needs to be updated and your app is out of date. DO NOT PAY FOR THE UPDATES!! inuitt employees have access to your account & info. Because I would not pay they deleted my account. When I asked the supervisor to look into their system to see who deleted my account she act as if they could not see who logged into my account.
Soooo slow to load anything
Rubbish! Constantly crashing when I try to save an invoice on app. Has been non functional for over 6 months now. So much frustration, avoid at all costs!
The app has basically loose 50% of the functionality. There is no access to projects, or project expenses. and after sending my first invoice, it has cost me over $300 that did not get billed to a customer. I will not be using this app in the future. Edit: Customer support admitted this was caused by an error in there mobile platform that can happen. making the mobile app even more unreliable l.

I've absolutely had enough of this app. I've been persisting with it for years but tonight was the final straw in a string of clunky disappointments. Even when I reinstalled the app in an attempt to make it work properly, it loaded me into an error screen and directed me to the browser version which was even worse than the app. For $20 a month a expect a smooth, easy and intuitive app that works. Instead its a clumsy mess that needs work. I'm moving to another invoicing program.
absolutely useless. invoices not emailed out since the update. no return calls . no assistance, just time wasting repeating myself to the useless tech support who sounds like its their first day. DO NOT USE THIS SOFTWARE. There is NO SUPPORT. You spend more & more time trying to fix their rubbish update.

they have over 10k of my fundson hold and I've been going in circles for weeks with them about it, now I'm on hold for over 2 hours listening to the same GOD DAMN SONG ON PLAYBACK LOOP
terrible app to use. over complicated. I cant even find how to say been paid and taxed. wants everything as expenses. should as simple as pressing button on payment. been paid. tax has been deducted.
I installed the app. took the deal for 6 months. now it's telling me to sign up again with one month free and $30 a month

This is slow to open, complex and cumbersome for a sole trader. Transactions for categorising are now in separate screens, not the one screen. It needs more clicks, more swiping and has some basic functions missing. The app can't split a transaction into personal and business categories by a percentage or create rules based on a transaction. Such a disappointment.
rarely works properly, doesnt automatically update my bank transactions and as of the last few weeks it doesn't track my mileage, I'm being billed twice monthly and support never follows up when they say they will. one of the worst app products I've ever dealt with

Changing to 1 star after the latest update. the invoicing ui on the app is now garbage. I can't even review my invoices unless I download them and use a 3rd party pdf viewer. Sometimes that doesn't even work and I end up texting the invoice link to myself as a work around. Why update something and make it slower, clunkier, less intuitive, and more glitchy? I'm so frustrated
app doesn't work and website becomes inactive after practice invoice. Completely trash.
this app is advertised with a discounted price with Uber for reaching a certain tier. this is a lie. you have to buy a separate quick book account to link the Uber payment card to your account. so I am not sure what use this app is. very crooked advertising.
not free even to just check out. immediately forces you to choose a paid plan.
R&D on the public. no QC from intuit. Just run your business here on this flawed app and we will fix it when you find the bug. money please.

And if they haven't thought of that until after reading this then it sure would be nice to get 3.5% of the annual transactions they take from other small businesses. And the app is not easy to create detailed invoices.
continual issue with bank connections on mobile app. rules work on mobile app but not online. support is frankly useless, booked called at a specific time, happen several hours later or not at all. the only use I now see for the mobile app is to snap receipts

App enters a perpetual state of setting up quickbooks and never actually loads. Used to work fine but not anymore

I've already subscribed at $3/mo for 6/mo. now it's asking me to subscribe again at $30 a month with one month free. not so great that this is the only option to communicate with this app.
