I tried several location-sharing apps for my family, and they all had the same issue; GPS running constantly in the background. That means sharing my location 24/7, which I find unreasonable, and it also drains the battery much faster. iSharing used to be different. It worked in a much more sensible way: GPS would only activate when I opened the app, or when a family member checked my location. Unfortunately, it changed and I sharing became a big brother like many other apps

I'm not seeing the correct time and places or the correct events and the GPS is not showing the places clearly
constantly getting a notification alert for no obvious reason. both phones in same place in the house on table so no one is moving, notification takes you to the app permissions page and there's nothing about the notification there either. not the battery optimisation and background activity is allowed. getting tedious having to keep dismiss alerts

Has become terrible of last few months. Accuracy is miles out and tracking is updated much slower than before. Too many pop up on app openong and notifications are forced. Such a shame a decent app has become so tiresome.
Agressive adds, wrong localization, very few free functions
If you have a loved one with memory issues that you want to keep track of, forget it if they can only manage a basic flip phone. Doesn't make sense to me, but who would give someone an expensive, complicated phone that has memory issues? But apparently you must if you want to keep track of them. Problem is, they won't carry the phone if they don't know how to use it.
I don't even care if this app works or not. There is no where to find out how much the different tiers cost. They make you think you HAVE to sign up for the 7 day trial when installing. Dishonest and deceptive company. BEWARE!

didnt show exact location just asking all the time to buy membership
The app isn't accurate with driving location, only when you're stopped somewhere. I installed this for driving location and to record any events that may happen during the drive. It only records about 10 mins of my drive before it stops. I usually don't have my phone in battery saver mode and it says the battery saver mode is affecting it. I've had this app a week and it has made no improvements. I did like when it did work and told me the events, but it just stopped working properly.

showing google play service updating from many day, not able to use it, I tried uninstalling and then reinstall it again but still the same issue.
Both my android and my partners are set up as they should be. The app is constantly telling me my partner has left the area, even though his phone is only a meter away from mine. The app is not tracking him. It told me yesterday he was still 4 miles away when he had arrived home. life 360 tracked him successfully. Every time this app updates it gets worse.
it is not for free
circle management is bad, I can't add my friend to a circle, in the list of all friends, I can't reorder the list as it appears, issues updating location at times, even after exiting the app issues persist.
I used to like this app, because I could watch my kid walk to school in real time. Now, it is very delayed. It really is disappointing. Almost gave me a heart attack, thinking something happened to him. If you advertise that you can see location "in real time" then you should be able to.

Ads ads and more ads. Started becoming more obvious last 6 months or so, and now it is a series of clicks to jist get to the map.
would give it 5 if it could be used on samsung watch 8
live location tracking not proper working.
Nice idea but doesn't work with Android anymore. keeps telling me to change my google location permissions, which I've already done. I get this message every four hours or so. Annoying.
Its been pretty good up until the last couple months. Accuracy on the same devices has gone down and now the map does not resolve (just shows the users icon on a beige background). Update 2/17/26: just seems to be getting worse. Try to use it to track my family and the thing cannot be forced to update a location. Trying to track my daughter and it hasn't updated for 20 minutes... she could easily be more than 20 miles away by now! Terrible.
Snapchat can do about all the same things with less power consumption

First 3 weeks was accurate, after that no location trace on the other number. it seems like moving at all, history wasn't accurate at all. please fix this. Pls check your apps, it isnt accurate at all. Or lost it's direction. I ain't going to subscribe anymore.
