Convenient - when it works. Other times, it throws errors claiming my stock Samsung OS is rooted and just exits, adding it to the list of apps that are pushing me towards ACTUALLY rooting this thing, just so I can properly sandbox each app and stop this nonsense. When the hell did app security become that DVD "wouldn't steal a car..." nonsense that drove so much irritated piracy in the 2000s just to get away from earrape each time you wanted to watch a movie? As an infosec coder - DO BETTER!

itsme pest haar gebruikers door het gebruik van domme qr-codes op te dringen. Eerst verbergen ze je telefoonnummer op de webpagina zodat je die eerst moet openklappen. Nu nemen ze de mogelijkheid om je telefoonnummer op te slaan gewoon volledig weg om u toch maar te dwingen de qr-code te scannen..

Scanner werkt niet.
Extremely hard to activate. You need to read your ID using a card reader connected to a computer. It doesn’t work on Chromebook, Linux, or even Android. I literally had to go to a library just to find a Windows computer to activate it. Completely user-unfriendly.
Trying to set it up is painful. Keeps giving errors, stuck on infinite loading screens, and once you get past one issue you're faced with another, eventually forced to try it all again. It is not an user or hardware error. Once you finally manage to get past all the errors, you come to find it's absolutely useless unless you've used a Belgian document to sign in 🤦♂️
Slowest auth app to ever exist
zero stars is not possible. Two different german passports are not supported although foto and NFC read out the data. For Belgium only via BankID possible to register, I do not have a Belgian Account, but a registration ID, not working. ridiculous!
I could never log in, not even with my bank details app. If I have to depend on ONE SINGLE APP to view my very important details such as FOD ETC, then this app is lacking, not working, whatever.. I had tried many times to login for one reason or another proved to not work for me. So I uninstall it. I hope the government finds another solution to keep up with such important PERSONAL info.
I am trying to activate my account on a new phone but when I arrive at the third step, the selfie, I got an error. it is really annoying
the worst app ever. randomly deactivates almost once a month and then doesn't want to activate. Helpdesk doesn't help at all.

no Linux support, you actually need a windows pc to set this up, and then even requiring third party software. no way to transfer account between phones. no descriptions of what app updates do or fix. no way to contact authors. unaccountable and shady company behind it. unacceptable for an app that is the default identification app in Belgium
Updating data is troublesome. Infinite loop of a nessecary extension for the browser is the culprit.
helaas de goede review verwijdert en plaats ik een 1 ster review vanwege de nutteloze onnozole bug. Je kan niet eens je gsm nummer aanpassen en moet je alles verwijderen, als alles verwijdert is kan je geen meer aanmaken en blijf je de onnozole melding ontvangen dat er al een activatie bezig is en dat je na 15minuten opnieuw moet proberen voor altijd...

The app is crashing down at startup. It's been 7 days I have this issue, nothing I tried managed to fix it. Deleting cache, deleting all app data, deinstalling, reinstalling. I've contacted the support but they haven't been able to figure it out. Maybe unimportant, but I have a Xiaomi phone running on android 15.
Not easy to find the link to register to the app using a laptop and ID card Reader. Always redirect to mobile registration.
Lots of blips. After 1 week of no use it disconnects and you have to go through the connection procedure again. Then often it still not works saying No pending action. i cannot get onto the government site..

20x proberen verifieren dat ik het ben die inlogt op overheids instanties. blijft maar niet lukken.. geen alternatieven.
I've been trying to log in for the past 6 months using my baking app. I keep getting a technical error. Same when I use my ID. I've tried everything but nothing works. never had issues before.
nightmare to set-up and not as safe as you would like to believe

why does the app forget that I enabled fingerprint verification every other week?
I can't use my German passport, it scans but then says it is not supported. My British passport scans but I get an error message on the Take a selfie page.
