you have to pay for it
Terrible user experience, you have to sign up for a free trial and even after that the app gets stuck in a loop asking you to sign up for free trial. never got to use the damn app. couldn't recommend this app in its current state as there isn't an app to use. just a looped free trial sign up
You have to set up a payment plan before you can use/try this app. If I could of used this before doing any sort of payment then I would of consider it. I would recomend you avoid this app.
app do not let trial with out signs bank details
fill out all your details, allergies and food preferences and get to the final page only to find out that it's a pay to play app.
billed yearly I'll take a pass. theres no need for yearly billing on a app like this. A monthly option I'd definitely try but you can't realistically try an app like this in a 2 day free trial. Subscription starts unless cancelled. How about subscription is cancelled after 2 days and it gives you a choice rather than praying on people who might forget to cancel.
you have to pay to use this app so will not be participating in this
Didn't warn that's a paid for app, implied it was free, uninstalled without trying, as far as I am concerned it's a SCAM
£20 to use the same features as a free app, also very intrusive but makes you go through everything then asks for the money at the end
absolutely disgusted that you advertise an app to encourage healthier living and dont even get chance to use the app before being asked for a review. Immediately followed by a 3 day trial for an app to scan to see if products are ultra processed. The app promises to get you ultra processed free within a month but asks for an annual subscription? (came and posted this review after skipping the in app review)
Felt scammed by sweeping through all the screens and seeing paiid subscription at the end. Total disappointment. Asking for a feedback before revealing paid subscription is also a bad move. There are free alternatives already.
Too many questions before I've even started using this.
misleading, you have to pay £30 after a free 3 day trial. deleted the app straightaway and downloaded a free alternative one.
paid app
same as YUKA except this one you have to pay for whilst YUKA is completely free and does the exact same thing
thought it was free
They ask you to review before you even get to use the app. Then right after. they tell you it's not free.
bad bad bad
No mention up front of costs, prompts you to select all your preferences, rate the app and then hits you with a £30 cost to even use it once.
asking for rating before i even started using the app. supected scam
should be more upfront about charges and needing a subscription to use. don't make me answer questions then lock me into a sub at the last section.
They don't tell you that you have to have a subscription for $40. A year, don't waste your time. It is garbage, find a better app that is free.
The app asks for a review during the initial setup, before starting to use it. And before revealing that it is paid.
doest work
app focused on making money only, even before you start using it already asks to pay
Looks a useful app but doesn't load. Go through all the questionnaire then it just crashes. Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. Seems by the other reviews that it crashes because I didn't do the review at the end of the questionnaire (which then leads to a paywall). Uninstalled.
App will not let me create an account, tried multiple times so l can't use it.
Yuka is a free app and does the same thing, this is a subscription app, their advertisements are fake. you install the and are face with question after question, and then they want you start your 2 day trial , when you go to unistall it asks "deleting tell is why" the next page is a half price subscription if £19:99 , and then google play , you have to press back button to get out of it. CON !
Subscription as must have. No thanks 😊
Subscription App. Pay to Use
It's great if the product is already in the database, but the "Take a picture of the ingredients"feature is not working. Once clicked it sits saying "Hold still" indefinitely.
Cancelled in the app, but didn't cancel. They make you have to type a justification before they allow you to cancel. Cancellation didn't work apparently and they charged anyway
App won't scan, it just freezes up and goes blank.
if you're susceptible to eating disorders, OCD, or restrictive eating patterns like ARFID, please be EXTREMELY careful with this app or avoid it altogether. ivy triggered me significantly and i'm sharing this to warn others who might be vulnerable to similar harm.
I wish I could give more stars but having identified my GF bread is ultra processed, it offered an alternative - and I ordered bread on line only to find that company is a scam
