This is annoying and only useful for giving students anxiety, the skills are the most annoying part, they give you like 2 points per right question and takes like 10 per wrong one, I rage quite so many skills because I was this close 🤏🏽 to punching the computer. My teacher said that the reason he likes IXL is because it tells him when we rush, so he wouldn't if it didn't.

This app has to be the worst learning app ever created. It teaches students the wrong things, the way the questions are asked is confusing, the rounding is just plain wrong, and on top of all that, the app feels like it was programmed by four-year-olds.
this app has caused my child ultimate stress, mathematical harm too, my child loves math, so I connected her schol account to this app and recently, she has developed a fear of failing math.
I have not been able to sign in to IXL ever since I got logged out. It keeps saying contact IXL does anyone else have this problem. I use it on my school iPad and it works fine but it doesn't want to work on my phone and it is making me mad.
this thing sucks the adds make it seem good but first of all there is no learning games so that's just straight up false advertisement and at the start you get a good amount of points but near the end you get like half a point and if you get one wrong you basically restart
this app is annoying as hell when you get a question wrong it automatically lowers your score down and that ixl is getting sued in some time this year

it is bad, when I answered a question and it got a different answer when It was right!
You lose a lot of points getting smt wrong but gain barely any when getting it right. Also it'll sometimes just make my answer wrong if I didn't convert it into a fraction or smt, which did not say in the question itself

If I was able to give this app zero stars, then I would. Just like others had said before me, IXL is a MONSTER!! Everytime you get an answer wrong when you get to 90 or even 97, they'll put you down so far!!! 😡😡 Like, WOW!! Not only that. If you remember the exact answer of a question, they'll transform the answer into incorrect answer!! If you're using that technique to help, or challenge students, then that's a terrible way to do it!! 😡😡😡😡😡😠😡😤

IXL is terrible dude. If you get one question right you get 1-2 points. Normal right? But if you get one wrong you lose about 10-15 points. Instead of helping kids "learn" they are just stressing them out. And the smart score sometimes feels like if you don't get 100% then your stupid. Honestly I really dislike IXL and theres a reason I refuse to do it. I rather get a 0% then stressing out for 2 hours because I keep losing 10-15 points every single time I get ONE question wrong.

This experience was not good. When you want to sign in to your account you can't and no matter what email you use or password it does not work. That is why I'm rating this 1/5.

IXL is insanely stressful, Newsflash the damn point system is rigged because what the hell do you mean that you lose about 7-15 points when you get a question wrong and gain only 2-3 points for a question that you get right? Genuinely how is it made for students to understand when overall it's just gonna bring them stress?

Everytime I'm on this app it makes my head hurt so bad, it feels like a punishment instead of a tool for sucess.
If I get even one question wrong it brings me so far down, and it honestly makes me angry. I spend hours trying to get my home work finished and it's frustrating. I would definitely not get the app if you don't want your kid getting angry/frustrated.

I HATE this app, as a student who has had to use it, like I ready it makes me cry and take hours to complete 1 lesson. yes, 1 LESSON. I hate it because I never understand the explanation when I get things wrong and stresses me out, when my parent asks me if I finish I always have to say no, I never get any break time when I use it and I think it's WORSE than I ready..don't get me started on the SMART SCORE! it makes me feel dumb and lowers my self esteme
i personally enjoyed the app but i have seen so many around me just have it lead them to extreme stress and feeling like any mistake is a failure etc this app can be a mental drain for young kids
this has made me and my kid cry multiple times, it's not fun, there's no rewards for anything, and it makes my kid feel stupid, don't waste your time.
