Joybuy-Don't Just Buy!

Was buying something on a browser, said scan QR to get app & £2 off. Decided I would, app doesn't have the product, no way to continue with discount in browser. Spent 5 minutes trying and gave up. Uninstalled. Just a scam discount to get you to install app and I fell for it.

false advert of same day delivery or next day delivery. they give you a time and doesn't respect it to even update it when the delivery changes .they will put the blame on logistics instead of owning up to it too . very bad service

Your happy hour offers are such a scam. The advertised price is shown for the exact 20 seconds where magically "there's no stock" and magically there's stock again at the normal price. Stop taking people for ****

do not buy here, worst support ever, its been 2 weeks now, first of all im trying to return a package, UPS did NOT pick it up. Now i let them pick it up, and i asked should i print a lable or not? they said they will bring a lable with them, well guess what? also not true. Im so pissed of, and i only get 3-5 responses in a day with hours between them, i hate this, when its over i delete this app I've had it 😡

There are no real discounts, the selection is small and the prices are high.

Don't buy TV with installation from Joybuy. No Joy in Buy (purchase). They mandated I buy overly priced wall bracket from them. They sent amateur cowboys to do TV installation with absolutely zero training and professionalism. They have completely messed up the TV installation on softwall (aerated concrete block wall). Even after explicitly informing them about the wall and that the standard concrete rawlplug are unsuitable, they still used them and have damaged the wall.

great Amazon competitor, but the app seems to automatically copy what is in your clipboard on startup without telling you why. potentially a security issue if you regularly copy passwords for logins

the customer service experience is terrible and the now app has some scammy sales tactics: flash sales that apparently run out instantly despite them advertising them when already sold out and overcharging for items purchased during the sale. It's fine until something goes wrong, or you get overcharged, then the customer care is awful: using canned responses that often show no understanding of what you're talking about and a consistent, noticeable language barrier. Not good enough.
