I've been a Kayak user for a very long time and I have to say the quality of the app and services has decreased over the past few years. Bugs are constantly introduced to the app and seldom fixed (car rental filters in dark mode, price alerts get deleted; the list goes on)

Price shown on their website doesn't match the actual price. Looks like a bug, especially for Marriott properties. Spent a while with the Bonvoy team!

What has happened to Kayak!?! I've been using Kayak as my go to app for business flights for years and noticed very recently that it just seems to be 'glitching' awfully. I put in a search for business class flights and it shows results with economy. I ask it to not show results with Travel Trolley and then it says there are no flights available at all. It shows a price in the filter against a favourite airline and when I select just that airline, the cheapest price is nowhere near it

The prices change, particularly if you are taken from the app to "Budget Air". DO NOT PURCHASE FROM BUDGET AIR! You will end up paying more than what is advertised on KAYAK
links don't load properly and you lose your progress mid booking
This company hides behind their policy to deny legitimate refunds. I canceled my booking immediately after confirming it because the dates were incorrect, yet they still refused a refund, claiming a 48-hour rule. This is clearly not a normal cancellation - it was an obvious booking error. Instead of handling the situation reasonably, they chose to ignore the facts and stick to their policy. It honestly feels like they are taking advantage of situations like this to keep customers’ money.

I dont want to download the app I just I want too look at the prices
used to be the main app to book tickets. today is time to break up after many years of use. it doesn't open anymore. in the past 6 months it simply won't work 'as it says. you press something, it does something else, it is hard for me to understand how developers ruin a working app. do you have a project manager when you "upgrade" it? do you have a testing team ? uninstalled.
I've got money to spend but your app is so absolutely annoying it won't be with you. Every time I click on the different filters I want to find the right accommodation I'll click on a property to take a look at it then when I back out to look at other places to compare them all if the filters have been reset. I've tried various different ways to come out of a property overview and return to the previous list and every single time the filters reset. Your app is so annoying.
very high prices
this app used to be the best until a few weeks ago when it kept shutting down. Then today I got a message that it should be updated to fix a bug. After it updated it has changed completely to find airfares. Totally useless. I checked several times and every minute it keeps changing. It no longer goes directly to the list of fares; now you have to go through a few steps to get there, and when you do, your search gets changed from what you were originally looking for. Not good to find airfares!
Does not return the range of prices it used to. Useful for identifying which days might be cheaper than others but not locating the best prices. I look elsewhere for prices. My regular journey used to yield up to ten price options including direct from the airlines. Now I get only two prices and the 'direct from airline' prices are excluded. Seems to have become a marketing tool for kiwi. com on my route.

False advertising. When the deals are with an airline website, the booking gives you an error and the price is then higher. This has happened numerous times to me on different days. Even complained to Kayak and they had no good explanation.

it was over £100 more for a flight to America than going directly to the airlines site and buying the tickets. I heard on radio they had good deals but was rubbish.
make a booking on this app if you like inconvenience and false communication.

it won't let me select any options as far as amenities. can't check any boxes. it was working great until this last month

What happened to search results showing aircraft type and operator when a codeshare??
I disabled all push notifications except trip notifications, but the app continues to push annoying promotional and "deal" notifications. Had to disable all notifications to stop this behavior. Now that I can't use this important feature I question if there's any reason to keep it installed.
