I’m done with this kijjiji app altogether. Now they want me to verify my identity by linking my bank account and entering my banking password or upload my driver's license, they are extremely personal and sensitive information, and there is absolutely no way I’m comfortable sharing that with an app like kijjiji or even Facebook. My own wife doesn’t even have my banking passwords. This verification process feels invasive, unnecessary, and honestly very concerning. 😡

This company is garbage because it only allows 10 pictures max for a posting like how stupid!! 😡
Impossible to find messages so sales/ inquiries are missed. Old system sent email or Gmail notifications without having to open account.
If I could give this app a 0 I would, but unfortunately the lowest rating I can give is a 1. After one session of using the app, they banned my account permanently for some sort of suspicious activity. When I asked about it with customer support I was told it could probably just be a false positive caused by my personal privacy settings, I enabled access to my location and do not use any vpns. after a very unhelpful response telling me that they themselves probably made a mistake, chat ended.
App refuses to open or load anything for me at all. If I want to access Kijiji I am forced to try to use the website. The fact it wants your banking info to "verify" user is disgusting and disconcerting. Pretty sick of Kijiji and I don't use Facebook. Trying to force the end of tax free and accessible buy / sell / trading is a shame.
I listed a car on here, and the only people who contacted me were scammers. I haven't heard from a single genuine buyer. Is this platform basically a gathering place for scammers?

Poor experience. My ad repeatedly failed to post and I could not get a clear solution. This caused a waste of time. I hope Kijiji improves its support and system reliability.
This app now has Zero Click Ads, which violate the terms of google services. Every time I open the app I get Temu, AliExpress ads that redirect me to their site without even clicking anything. Very annoying and could be very malicious.
Sales have stopped here... marketplace has won... but now the app redirects me to aliexpress. and shows their app hosting it... is that hijacked or desperate for revenu?

This used to be a good app to buy and sell stuff before they made a game out of their new algorithm by asking you to pay for doing the same stuff! Thank you but Fb Marketplace is far better in this regard. Someone wanting to sell something for 50 bucks would have to buy a spot for 10-15$ to get it sold . deleting the account for sanity

cannot login very hard to use now
This app wont receive messages. I have tried everything, deleted and reinstalled, cleared cache and data, logged out and logged back in and checked phone settings. Nothing works
After researching this application, it was found to be unsafe and useless, and it requests too much information.
Wow, how the mighty have fallen. Limiting ads in entire balloon categories of cars/auto parts/rvs/rv parts to 1 is insane. Then kindly offering a 10$ a month charge to something that was free up to 20 a few months ago? How generous. Farewell from a 16 year old account.
"Authentication attempt has failed, likely due to invalid credentials. Please verify and try again." it says what I arleady have an account, BUT I can't log in
App crashes ever 45 seconds. No longer usable. Will be deleting and using a different buy and sell platform.

Does nobody ever actually try to use the app before you release updates?? Seriously, just have 1 person spend 10 minutes on the app testing it instead of relying on complaints. This is hands down the most buggy app I've probably ever had to use! Every update is just a new set of bugs and issues. Update: at least now I keep unintentionally opening Temu links trying to scroll... that's helpful. I like Kijiji, not their app.
Updated version isn't as user friendly as old version. More steps to get to saved searches and the search browser takes double the amount of time to upload what your searching for. Tried posting an add 4 days in a row. Each time I tried it failed and literally took 4 minutes to try upload it only to find out it didn't work. **Edited for the 3rd time** Uploading a post is a pain in the butt. Taking me like 5 trys to post and still not working. pop up adds randomly come up.
random ads pop up with no prompting
advertising is one thing but redirecting to another website for advertising without being promoted is aggravating. Kijiji used to be good but no longer
Better, I like the rating system. However now I ALWAYS get ads from. Ontario and Quebec no matter what items or filter I have on. I realize those people paid to have their ads posted, but I don't need to see them across the country... AND WE ARE BACK TO 1 STAR. 10000000 CONSTANT DEALER ADS FILL MY FEED, BUT I HAVE TO PAY TO POST AN ADD IN EDM AND CALGARY. The kijiji community is by large a bunch of time wasting idiots. Either that or this app is full of bots who ask "is this available " TRASH

I turned off marketing notifications. But the settings to do this do not work. so I uninstalled the App.

your app needs updating always boots me out of app signs me out.
Careful everyone! I'm a long time Kijiji user but the app now "features" zero click ads. All it takes is one malicious redirect and your device may go somewhere you do NOT want it to go. Yet, reviews are still not working.. it's been months now..

terrible app I remember the glory days of kijiji it was so easy to use and post ads with all the buyers were real too. I just posted an ad and now 3 scammers have my phone number and tried to get me to hand over my banking info..

This kijiji App went from 5 stars down to 2. it keeps crashing out and signing me out. I update my password and the next day it's wrong. no way to report spammers who repeat post. Asking me to link my banking details to verify myself as a seller is insane. this is another plea to steal and get data to sell to AI data centres. I use this app but each time its more frustrating. Lots of frauds postings without any restrictions on how or where they can post from. this app was way better years ago.
