hate to say it but the kik app used to be really cool and how you can match with random people this app needs to be put to rest lol for good I remember when you can just randomly video chat people and they took that away too

It's insane how absolutely awful this app is handled get rid of live get rid of pop up ads its just so..so bad

The amount of advertising is obscene... and so invasive. They may need to kept the lights but this is ridiculous...
I used to use this app back in middle school and high school. There is definitely a lot of cyber bulling here. Not safe. I do not recommend it.
app barely works like other people are saying needs major improvements also not sure if anyone else gets it but I try to join a group but says group not found this app needs major bug fixes major improvements akso new background options
opening a new account is a big problem in this app always a new excuse give a whirl that is what it keeps showing but the account will not open 😔

can't even click to make a username when trying to make an account.
won't let me make an account. says error if it persist check to see you have the lastest version downloaded. I had an account but apparently it says there's no user or email that it recognizes
trying to set up a new account and when I click on "username" nothing happens,it lets me enter a password but not a username

I've been using Kik for a few years now, and it's steadily getting worse. Glitchy, slow to load all but the smallest video files, won't let me add a profile picture, and 99% of the people on it are either bots or utterly devoid of social skills or even basic good manners. If there's anything similar that actually works, I'd love to hear about it.
illegal operations happen by the literal second one this app including children exploitation, and it's unacceptable and needs to be taken down
App is still unusable for months now. Messages will be stuck on S unless the person receiving the message has the app actively open on the screen, as the app seems to close in the background. Meanwhile they push a premium version when their app doesn't work.

reason I gave it one star is the login issues. I have force stopped it, uninstalled it twice and still says loading when trying to log in. not sure why people use this app anymore
Most dumb & poor engined app. very laggy can't even send messages to someone once it's start loading messages, if u send messages it'll hardly manage to send only few to recipient.

I give it 1 Star out of 5 for kik because I am done with Kik app Forever. I apologize for inconvenience about that app. But I got kicked out of Livestream and I never use Kik app ever again. That is why I am no longer with Kik anymore after 3 Years. So I am done forever.
bots , hookers, fake, start talking to people and all they want is money or gift cards, or to hook up for money, is this what kik is for? it used to be good but now thinking about deleting it i will be deleting this today. it started off well but went down hill. all fakes and all they want is money and gift cards sent to them

fix the issue with random pop up screens in the middle of typing text. ANNOYING!
I've used the platform for many years on and off but today was the last straw. I kept putting up with the ads the bots and the scammers but now that the last of my friends have left there is no point using this app anymore. over the last year I've had to block and report so many people but nothing is done. There is a growing number of people that are running extortion rackets on there and have targeted me so I think it's time kik goes into the bin for me

got a 2093 ban on my level 50 for just having a conversation and doing nothing yet they can only help someone with green vip who's only spent 500 dont bother this app is a joke
if you want constant attacks by scammers this is app for you!
The bot epidemic on this app has literally ruined it. It's impossible to enjoy the app with so many bots and it seems like there's no way to escape them and that nothing is being done. Not to mention that now when you get a message it just says "New Kik message" instead of displaying the actual message. This should be an optional feature, not a default one.
i will change the ratings if my apps is usable again
April 19, 2026 and this app is still broken garbage. Can't create an account. Can't login. Administrators deleted my old account for no reason. On Android app doesn't even allow you to register. On iPhone the app runs like absolute garbage. The support team is absolute garbage. This app is virtually dead and every new review seems to echo this sentiment. The Kik staff can respond to reviews saying it's a bug all they want. Their app is broken garage and needs to be removed from the Play Store.
