They are a scam and don't allow guest to make payments, while discouraging mailing payment by saying it will take months to post. I also had 130 inquiring on my credit, after I joined which was a major problem. Don't do it! Reps are outside US and sell your profile. Lawsuit Action filed.

WITHOUT "LAWFUL CONSIDERATION" For the "consumer" this whole business model is in conflict with American Law Of The Land and Maritime law is not in affect anymore so all of y'all are going out of business LMAO

While the app did approve my credit, they false advertise about paying you back after your monthly payments are completed. Do NOT use this app for anything.

This app and it's promise of being free to fix your credit score is false. It is free to down load but to fix your credit you have to pay a monthly fee. And not a small monthly fee.
Trash garbage waste of money
SCAM app! beware! paying for an account does help your credit score improve minimally AT FIRST about 20-50 pts, but when I stopped my payments n membership they reported on my credit that I was months behind payment on a credit card that I never owned and dropped my credit score 100 pts, so this app is going to HURT YOUR SCORE WHEN YOU STOP PAYING THEM!!!!
no matter that my bills and loans are always paid on time my score never gets above good it did make it to fair one time a year ago but yet they steady take money from me
I uninstalled this app so quick! I was under the impression you borrow, pay the loan monthly on time, and it helps your credit score! NOOOO, they want you to give them money with the hopes they can increase your credit score! The only reason I am reinstalling is to remove my information!
This is a scam app! You pay them to shop within their store and they say you shopped there and paid the bill. It doesn't raise your credit score and when you call customer service they are people that you can't understand. When I asked to speak with someone who could speak better so that I could understand what my money was used for during my six months with them, they told me to call back later! When the guy was explaining it he said there is no guarantee, the money is for the app and store.
AWFUL experience. I was in and out of the hospital for 3 months plus dealing with multiple health issues with my mother and due to three late FIVE DOLLAR payments, they reported me to the credit bureaus, so, NO, I do not recommend this awful service! I was with them for months and it did nothing to improve my credit score and then it ends up dropping my credit score 60 points... from fair to poor...over $15!!! I would give them ZERO stars if I could

kickoff is a RIPOFF! You don't have to pay to build your credit. start with a store card and just make sure you pay on time and then go from there. You can also work with the different credit unions to build your credit for FREE. DON'T GIVE KICKOFF MONEY THEY'RE RIPPING YOU OFF!

FRAUD - This App is a scam. They claim your score is one thing but all other agencies have a totally different number. They want you to buy a loan from them - and when you try and cancel it, they want to report bad credit . THIS WHOLE THING IS FRAUD !! I WANT THIS CANCELLED

SCAM! DON'T DOWNLOAD! DON'T USE!! I've hired a lawyer and we are beginning a class action lawsuit because This app falsely advertises a "line of credit" that ends up being a series of payments to them to raise your score. which ends up never getting raised. if you cancel it reports a negative report to your credit then charges you for more services you never even signed up for. in some cases it's been reported they'll even attempt to steal your identity!!! GOOGLE: REMOVE THIS APP! SCAMMERS!!

would give negative stars, but you know the drill. I simply looked into this program, NEVER applied, NEVER received any "credit line" but, it reported negatively to the credit bureaus and I'm STILL fighting trying to have it removed. They said I received a "book" from them and failed to make timely payments, I say "give me said book/title of book/cost of book, etc.. and I'll pay for it." None of which have they complied with.
about a year and a half ago I downloaded this app thinking that it was going to help me Bill my credit even further. it has actually done nothing but make my credit worse. I was in a DV situation where the person had complete control over my finances and my emails and everything. I was under the impression that my account with kickoff had been deleted, apparently it wasn't. so instead of sending my account to collections they sent it to charge off. now I can't do anything for seven years.
This company opened an account using my information and reported negatively on my credit report even thou I never signed up for them. I don't even know what this is! but because of them I was denied for an auto loan because it made my credit score drop significantly! I am currently talking with an attorney to see what rights I have regarding this issue! I wish I could rate 0 stars because giving them 1 star makes me feel bad for giving them some sort of hope that they positively impact others!

u gotta pay them for them to help build my credit. you can do it with a phone a car payment rent mortgage etc dont need to pay an app to help build my low credit. with times the way they are right now. im not giving away money.

I opened an account and forgot my password. I reset the password and I still can't get into my account days later. Pure garbage!!!
Scam. You don't get any product and if you don't pay it hurts your credit and you still have to pay for a product that doesn't exist.
This app started off okay. It had a lot of potential. But now I can't even open it it just is loading and loading and loading. once I left my phone with it just loading and I came back to it an hour later and I clicked on something else and it just went to loading and loading and loading I can't get to anything. it just takes a really long time to do anything the app is unusable for me. I have a subscription to take money from me every month for an app I can't even use or get on to cancel it.
This app is not worth having. There is no updates for the app, the pages never load even after refreshing the page numerous times. I have had this app for a few months and this has been an on going issue

Horrible and terrible, with false promises and rewards; no help from customer service.
App worked fine for awhile then disputes stopped working. Can't scroll to look at any old disputes or put in any new disputes.
I had kick off keep it for some months. I decided to close my account I followed the instructions I was told and was giving conformation it was canceled sorry to see you go. I resent checked my credit and account is still active, my credit score dropped because it's saying I'm over 30 days past due.
I can't even get the app to open up let alone apply. Yes! before you ask, I do have the latest version up to date (5/4/26) . The moment I go to open it crashes. and then I do the open & close bit. to only get the app has a bug clear your cache. then reopen... 3.5 seconds later and still same outcome... boooo
Can't get verifies
had this app for about 8 months and used it for nothing other than paying them to help my credit and thats it. I didnt finance anything or have any kind of credit that I borrowed against. so around 8 months I had an identity theft and had to get a new card for the account I set up the app to charge and forgot to set it gʻback up upon receiving a new card for that account. since then kickoff had been putting negative remarks on my credit report and stating I have a negative balance. crooks-4-real
