New subscription fee needed with purchases now, used to be a 5 star app with no hassle, it was good while it lasted.

Trashy app, you can only get cashback by doing purchases through their app. But some websites block you from logging in with your google account because the app browser is not secure.

edit 05.2026: hohe gebühren, wenn lastschrift platzt, finger weg von klarna. keine koulanz mehr wie früher, bei betrugsfällen etc. --- if you file a complaint it always deletes the text if you switch between the apps to look up the requested details. The dev team didnt tested the app at all. klarna itsself is good so far. thats why 3 stars until the app is debugged.
because u send out mail and no contact because i look on line don't know which accounts didnt get paid and u charge a late fee with out saying which accounts on letter dudnt get paid.. or online

I used to enjoy using Klarna. I have always paid on time, in fact before time for most payments. I had a financial hiccup, I contacted customer service, the rep was disengage, could barely speak English. He was not able to assist me with an extention, the language barrier. I got so fed up, I ended the call. Once I have paid off the remaining balance, I will take my business elsewhere. The interaction with the rep was very disheartening.
Klarna doesn't have Any kind of Customer protection if any merchant let's say scam you Klarna will say not my business give just my money so basically 😉 Klarna help any scammer out there and you'll pay,, something as Customer protection Klarna dose not recognised
poor customer service and watch your account because after you finish paying they will continue to charge you for paid of accounts

DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE! THE APP SUCKS! I HAD A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE AT FIRST. GRADUALLY THEY MADE IT MORE DIFFICULT TO USE. SERVICE REPS ARE CLUELESS. NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE. LET THEM GO BROKE. BOYCOTT
Very hard to use phone app. Prefer working through email.
Klarna seems good, at first. You can deposit funds, use the debit card and there are special offers from countless vendors. But it was too good to be true. Deposits are Limited. They impose a 6 digit pin number. They demand a photo id to withdraw funds, and it took hours to capture acceptable front and back images of my driver's license. When they finally approved i withdrew my money and uninstalled Klarna quick! Google Wallet, Cash App and Chime do everything I need. Bye 👋 Klarna!
