Takes foreeeever to download regions. And no, it's not my connection.

The maps themselves are fine.[end update]. I now really regret my decision to opt for a yearly premium subscription. And no I don't want to update to a family subscription so please stop asking me if I want to.

most dangerous bike route suggestions possible. basically just the Google Maps car route. did not take advantage of any bike paths along the way
Long time Komoot user and paid for maps downloads a few years ago. Recent update requires subscription for usable map layers and sport type. Now unusable without subscription. Bye Komoot.
route creation is really painful. adding waypoints is not smooth. route gets adjusted in a really in logical way.
constant reminders to buy subscription when I already bought the maps is pointless!!! every time I open this app - totally useless!!
Private equity has inevitably ruined this app. Constant pop-ups for premium content that cover the screen and can't be removed. It's now impossible to plot a route because there's a pop-up to try os maps that won't go away. Especially annoying as I have the relevant os map and only use this app to find out how long routes are which it is now useless for.
It has started crashing on my old smartphone, Redmi Note 5. I use this phone for cycling, as my current phone has OIS cameras and I dont want to damage them. It was working 2 months before properly & now it is crashing after clicking on navigate. I even formatted my phone & reinstalled the app but it is not working.
a big disaster, very difficult to work with hard to find tools. now put itself on dark and no way to get back to regular
this app used to be perfect now it's so insanely buggy with constant pop up add to go premium after you already paid! not sure what is going but if the determination continues at this rate in a few weeks it will be unusable
"Try the new Ordnance Survey map!" I've been using this app for years and paid for global access to mapping, but right now they're trying hard to up-sell their subscription. I cannot plot a route without the message "Try the new Ordnance Survey map!" plastered across the centre of the screen, which is really abrasive and often gets in the way of being able to see my routes unobstructed. I'm giving this 1* in the hope they'll notice this and fix this issue.

Unusable app. I tried it on my android phone and also on my ipad. Nothing works. Shows trails when I search for it but when i click on it, it shows that there is no Internet connection.
Folks at Komoot, since I cant update the gpx-es for a cycle tour of 34 days in one hit (as I can with Gaia or Ride with gps for example) komoot is of no use to me. My tour creating friends are not on komoot, so that's a killer for me.
The Wear OS version displays a "Download Komoot on your smartphone" and nothing else. The "download the app" message cannot be closed without closing the entire app. There is no login screen, or any way to set up the Wear OS in the smartphone version of the app. I'm giving this the lowest possible rating because the app is impossible to use.
A while ago I started to notice weird reloading all the time... whenever you try to save a new route or go to the planned trips page, it just flickers and reloads 100 times.. you can't scroll through any lists or add new routes. Deleting and reinstalling the app did not help. Also, the popup for subscription is getting out of hand. I already purchased the wordpack and have a premium account. Why is there adds for supscription? Stop that.
Not good, consistently gave wrong directions. Got charged for subscriptions despite it not being on my listed subscriptions.
garmin navigation is missing
Can't change the settings to record in miles instead of KM. The option is there, but it won't save changes.

Last year everything worked well with nice and simple UI both in browser and on the phone. After all these UI changes browser planning is less convenient with all the things I was used to landed in different place. Also on the phone too much data is presented on screen, so the map is almost invisible when navigating. Also the app is becoming unresponsive after ~30-40km of ride. These are the reasons I won't buy subscription anymore.

Depuis la mise à jour, cette application se comporte comme un virus. Une fois ouverte il est impossible de l'arrêter. Il faut aller dans les paramètres d'Android pour. forcer l'arrêter.
Has only the very basic, does not take advantage of your watch it's capabilities. If you upgrade from an older Galaxy Watch (Tizen), you'll find that version was vastly superior. Shame.
Cannot restore purchases. I purchased a lifetime licence a few years ago and have used Komoot occasionally with moderate success. Recently, I've been unable to access the app, as it tries to sell me a plan. There is a faded link to restore previous purchases that had never worked. It gives the message "cannot restore purchases at this time." And has done for months. Not impressed, Komoot.
What trial? I attempted to do a trial and as soon as I selected a root, it forced me to pay for the week. No problem though. I will cancel after. I am not sure what the developer is talking about as far as regions. One would think that where they live would be included in the one region, since a trail nearby is what came up for me.
Just seems like I need to spend too much time to figure out a ride!
kind of useless. looks like a really nice interface but can't get it to connect to my bosch ebike account, just goes in and endless sign in loop.
