I have used this app for about 5 years with no problem. Now when I click on the shopping cart it won't open at all for me. I have called twice and gotten no help. The second time I called the man said to use Firefox instead of Google. I choose not to do that. Best idea is to stop shopping at Kroger and switch to Walmart or Meyers. Rating is minus any stars.
The app has become so bogged down and slow that it isn't usable.
This app used to be excellent, one of my favorites. Not any more. It is awful.
when I add items to the list, maybe 1 will actually end up there. I have to check every item I try to add to make sure its there, or I end up with tons of stuff missing from the list. incredibly frustrating and impossible to deal with
App has LOTS of problems. Items added to the list do not always make it to the list being used to shop. SO MANY TIMES I've come home without items that were added to the list, but did not appear there when shopping. PLEASE FIX THIS!!! This seems to be getting worse with each release. Seriously considering going back to a list app...from a Boost member!

I was able to download the Kroger app. I was not able to log into the app after several tries. The app is useless. a message flashed not authorized, but I was not able to read the whole message. it went away too quickly.

Overall, the product does not meet my quality standards. I go in with a list of produce items and most of what I want is disappointing. The overall pricing is not great and most stores brands are mediocre at best. I no longer shop at Kroger.
Since updating the app doesn't load. The app wasn't great to begin with but now I can't use it at all. I haven't been happy with the store for the past year so it may be time to do my grocery shopping at the store across the street from Kroger.
Kroger has broken the ability to use the app for in-store shopping. You can't easily add new items to a shopping list. And when you add items, they get lost when the app syncs with the server - making the list unusable. We're now forced to go back to using a paper list - which is much harder to use in the store - and we lose the ability to take advantage of discounts provided in the app. If this isn't fixed soon, we'll check HEB to see if we can shop with their app.
Can't get on it. Trying for 3 weeks now.....no update. Love Kroger and shop regularly. Would love appointment for adds and coupons along with other information.
It's been over a year and I can't login to the app anymore. I've done all troubleshooting.Clearing cache and data, uninstall and reinstall, resetting my phone.This app refuses to let me sign in even though my phone is compatible. It gets an error "Unable to authenticate since no call was made" I've tried even leaving the app alone for several months, following the updates and it refuses to sign in. I'm done with this app. uninstalling and just waiting for my mailed coupons. I hate it.

The app doesn't like to load inside Kroger stores. Unable to clip coupons a lot of the time unless I log out, clear cache and data then log back in - and even then it still won't work. Scanning QR codes in store also rarely works so I'm forced to search for coupons on an app that won't load... then they won't clip if/when I find them. It's been an ongoing issue and on multple devices. All the negative reviews with the same complaints.. they cleary do not care to fix the issues.
New issue with the latest version. The list doesn't sync correctly with the online version. Also, if I check off an item in the store, it pops back up a few minutes later. It's difficult to plan a trip to the store when what I add online doesn't show up correctly by the time I get there. Very frustrating!
Kroger made nearly $148 BILLION dollars in 2025, yet they refuse to hire a QA team that actually knows what they are doing. The app has been slow since its launch, but it's gotten worse over the years. If you try to delete an item from your cart, while making a pick up order, it takes several trays for it to delete. But wait, it will immediately come back. I had to delete an item none times before it actually was removed from my cart. I suggest triple checking your order.
So bad. I'm assuming you pay someone to keep this app functional, but you should stop.
I did my first food pickup. My food was molded once I picked it up. Plus, I place my order Friday an couldn't pick it up until Saturday after 5 pm. Then they were out of most of my order that I placed on Friday. Very disappointed, I called corporate and still got no answer. I will never shop at Kroger again.
Cold day in Hell before I use the app again. Older app is more user friendly.!!!!! new version will not let me add products to my shopping list. it states "items are unavailable" (that is even item the app lists).
I can't sign in. after I get the code from me email I can't get back to the page to put it in. It starts you over.
1 May 2026 - Awful after latest update. Things I delete from the list...just keep coming back. Update: 22 Sept 2024 - Hopefully optimistic, just got the latest update, 74.2.1, noticeable performance improvement. Rating 1 -> 2 stars. Previous Post: Why does it seem like the cart is the only place to send scanned items? Or items returned from a search? I never use the cart. I use the list, and used to be able to select quantity. I wish there were an option to disable the cart.

This app is trash. I try to add an item to my shopping list and it disappears. I have to add each item then check my list to see if it actually stayed on. Then today I was trying to shop, checking off items as I went, but the app decided to keep unchecking items. The last update also added two more steps to click through to show the plus card number. Seriously, what's next? Will the app start insulting me while I shop? I'm forced to use Kroger because they're the only grocery store in town.

I despise updating this app because somehow each time it gets worse. The plus card is buried further in the app, the app still loads incredibly slow, and now when searching for items the results I'm seeking are buried under "featured" items.
it's a shame Kroger forces you to use an app for additional tracking. it's also a shame the app is constantly having 'technical difficultie' when trying to sign in. bad implementation
prices arent accurate showed one price with -30$ coupon then charged a different price at pickup and caused a huge headache
we have had nothing but trouble with this app. first somehow it combined my wife and my account together and now everytime i have to update it it logs me out and I have to change the password. worthless app.
I can't see the food reviews and there's barely anything available for delivery but pickup has everything smh ☹️

Fix the list issue! This has been an issue for months and it still isn't fixed. I just spent an hour making my list and remaking my list over and over because the app didn't transfer to the website and then every time I tried to add an item to the list on the website it would either disappear or several other items would disappear. I emailed Kroger about this a few months ago and never heard back.
Do you only allow people that are bad at designing apps do the updates? Every time there is an update, it makes it worse. Now when you make a list, it just erased it and defaults back to the previous list. I'm embarrassed for you.
So slow. It's a very clunky app and takes forever to load every screen, and oftentimes an error message pops up saying it needs to be refreshed. When I add something to my cart, it takes far too long to actually add it, or it simply doesn't and I'll have to close the app and restart the whole process all over again. Also, the search items are disjointed...i'll type in meat, and it will show me canned dog food. That's just one example. The app updates often, but never seems to get better.
Not happy that all skim milk is out of stock. I'm getting ready to set delivery for tomorrow, Monday. How can you be out of skim, half or full gallon at beginning of the week?

Just awful. The worst shopping app there is. There once was a time where this app worked, but that... that was a long time ago. We shop in store and liked the list function of the app. Told you what aisle items are on and gives you a nice checklist. Now when you add items to the list it's a roll of the dice if they will actually be added to the list or not. So many times we get home and realize the items we forgot because they didn't actually get added to the list.
horrible doesn't matter if trying to use android or windows. add items to shopping lis but they dissappear. been trying to build a shopping list all day and several times but it won't work. you might try moving up to using high-school kids instead of grade school kids, because who ever is doing the app is really bad at it. doesn't matter if the app has a loyalty program because I'm sure it doesn't work either.
This so no longer saves items to my shopping list. I will hit the add to list. And then when I view the list the item is either not there or it's just listed as "Product info not available". This app used to work!
Too slow. Won't even open after update.
Sucks!! Expensive...you never get what you ordered. I do not recommend. Disappointing.
