And the search feature is so oddly placed. just follow every other common sense app and put the search at the top. They changed the app and made it much worse. This app is probably directly related to stores closing smh.

Also most of the products don't have the ingredients listed on the app for ingredients on the item page, or show it on the product picture to read them. Grrrr
So - app is down for a few days while it gets updated ?? The entire IT staff should be fired. That simply can't happen in 2026. Inexcusable.

The latest version of the app is almost unviewable on my phone. All previous app versions worked fine, and I could see everything on the screen. please fix this!
You need to put in a code that is sent to your email to be able to sign in. My email won't send me notifications. I have to leave the tab and open my emails to find the code. The app won't save my progress and it kicks me out every time. I can't even log in. Save my progress if you want me to check my emails for a code.
update sucks! app is now completely useless. can save items, but not add to cart. has coupons and digital offers. shows the option to search by department, but no way to narrow down, only option is "general "

It seems to get more broken with every update. All it does is sit there loading & loading, going to submenus either loads infinitely or has error messages. Come on, guys, are you coding this with AI or something? Get some people to fix this. It's been messing up for weeks, it's ridiculous. :( I couldn't even load coupons while I was shopping.
The feature to preview next week's ad does not work. The print view image does not change to the new ad.
I have tried several times getting into the Kroger app and I'm unable to because it sends me a verification code and I have to log out of the installation process to get my email verification code

Pickup and delivery orders make things more complicated than they need to be, I'll be in store about to buy an item then realize it's exclusive to pickup or delivery so I'll put the item back, place a pickup order and hang outside the store and then the same employee who saw me in store can wonder what I'm still doing here, and that your inefficient coupon has become their problem.
this app is horrible. taking forever to download and open account. I uninstalled app and reinstalled it and still waiting. horrible job Kroger
the account is tied to a invalid email the email address needs to be changed.
The Kroger Android app is unable to correctly identify where items are located when shopping in the store. recent example is when I was looking for kitchen matches in my favorite Kroger store, app said aisle 19 and there is no aisle 19 in my store. so I ended up buying kitchen matches at DOLLAR TREE STORE.

App won't accept my payment information, when i called my bank they said it's an issue with the Kroger app not sending the full card information that's been entered to the bank. thus leading it to get declined, multiple people have had the issue.
beware prices do not always reflect once you get to the store. eggs were a 1.50 more than what it said plus a few other examples other than that ig the app is ok when it's not glitching to login

This app will not operate without updates (despite clicking not this time, while wating in the store to use it. And then it doesn't even display locations of the hidden products in the store. I hate Kroger.
I been disabled from A Crane accident since 2000. Last year been in out W/K Piermont for breathing problem. 06/25/26 I called in delivery to my mobile home. I payed $122.00 for 16 items. says 12 oz can Dr.Peppers 3 12 packs get 3 free value $36.00 for 3 12 packs. delivery driver was black,I called Kroger about the issue black girl answered phone get manager put me on hold until line went dead called back she said manager busy and need to take it up with delivery services OK,KNOW CAN'T SAY MORE
Update auto enrolls presciptions in auto-refill when not requested. Requests refills without authorization. 🤬
Took forever to verify my phone number and even then it didn't even register. Also didn't sign me up for Kroger Pay.
I waste an hour putting together a delivery order, and then 30% isn't available. How is that even possible? And why are there a bunch of items that I can't order with Kroger Delivery, but can if I were to use another service, like Instacart? You cannot tell me mushrooms are unavailable EVERY time I order. I was there yesterday. Didn't buy much because planned on ordering, but now nothing is available. What am I paying for????

This app is horrible!! Worst ever! Hardly ever works in the store. Requires an additional login to get to the pharmacy. CONSTANTLY CRASHES for "technical difficulties". Requires a 2 step verification for pharmacy that I don't need & didn't sign up for! I'm going to switch my Rx to Walmart or HEB because of this! If you want the inconvenience of calling in a Rx refill & going thru multiple prompts then this is your kind of app. If I could give a ½ star rating, I would. 1 star is too kind.
Will App will no longer update or allow me to use. I have used this account for years . App will no longer allow me to use and will not update. No longer functional. I have used it for many years. What a joke!

I am so DONE with Kroger Ordering/Delivery App AND Instacart. This was my second and DEFINITELY my LAST ORDER with both. If I am ordering from the Kroger App, you, Krogers, should KNOW if products are available AS I AM ORDERING. It is pointless for me to place an order and pay a tip if I can't get what I need. I did not get the Sausage, Half &Halfs, Yellow Southern Peaches, Cherries, Palmetto Cheese, Key Lime pie. The 2 pkgs of Blueberries were crushed under potatoes and onions, etc. etc.
in unable to create account due to an error. tried again to create account couldn't bc email was already used so it somehow worked the first time. tried resetting password to get into app didn't work due to an error. I just want tk use the app!!!

I'm trying to use this app yesterday it made me update even though I remember updating not that long ago. what an awful update! now when you search something it brings up everything first but the thing you searched for, not because they don't have that item, just start the search engine is really awful. for example if I search Daiya Pizza, the first four or five things are Morningstar products that aren't even Pizza like before actual Pizza shows up.

To many updates and have to delete other Apps to update Kroger's this sucks. And they don't let me choose which apps to delete.

App works fairly well though load times , updates to orders and pulling sales and other items can be a bit frustrating and slow , reserving a time slot can be difficult if you reserve a time and the app closes you will often lose your reserved time . I will open and close the app numerous times to get my old time to show back up ... As for payments if you add items to your submitted order sometimes it will authorize a whole new payment instead of the difference in price.
previous versions had store layout which made it easier to shop in store this version stinks.
