Crashes more often than my banking apps but good website for movie recs. For Premium tiers that expensive, you'd think they're paying their IT team fairly.

The ads are really annoying. I never click on them, but somehow they keep opening and redirecting me to advertisers' pages. Do you really need the ad revenue that badly?

Too many ads, the most annoying thing about these ads is that they take me straight to the app, the second I open the app, I’m immediately hit by a stupid ad.

It's full of problems; it doesn't open frequently, it freezes often, it opens for two days then closes, and it won't open for a week. Please fix these problems because they make it difficult to use.
The platform is a 4.5, the mechanics of the software is a 3.5 at best. the problem as other people have pointed out is the app itself. God awful. Mine hasn't crashed, but it slows down/lags to all hell after using the app just a few minutes, or scrolling through too many movies. HUH?!

It's horrible. The idea is amazing and all the features are good. But there are so mmay time outs. It says error loading movies or socket timeouts. It's realy frustrating. Please fix it. You are ruining such an amazing app.
Ads have started just popping up randomly and has made this unusable. Will be scrolling a friend's page and then taken to the play store seemingly at random without warning

Used to work without issues. Even with poorly designed ui it was fine. But now I cant even open the app after the update. Crashes instantly and getting a "socket timeout" error message. fix this please
ik premium tier or something exist but is it really reasonable to have ads that open automatically? it really makes the experience feel cheap (yes it really is cheap because its the free version) ik u guys have to generate revenue, but at least consider the experience of the users when using the app.

The most awful app I have ever had the displeasure of installing. Could not get past the captcha. It simply refused to verify and returned me to the create account screen.
Don't bother downloading & just use the website. This app is downright unusable. It hides the back buttons and doesn't resize the displays so you get locked on certain screens.
Used to work perfectly fine, but in the past month I've started consistently getting 403 error messages every time I try to change a poster or backdrop, which is a feature I specifically pay for. Extremely God damn frustrating as a long time user.

I've already tried clearing the cache, reinstalling the app, and restarting my phone, but nothing has fixed the problem. Please investigate this issue, as it makes the app very difficult to use.
there's a bug that I encounter somewhat frequently, where if I go to another app while writing a review (without closing letterboxd), when I return, the review will be gone. just gone. god forbid I want to look up a vocab word. really infuriating when you were writing something for 45 minutes. please fix this!
App just doesn't work most of the time. It freezes and times out. Huge disappointment.
The idea and features are promising, but it's really slow and constantly giving you messages of errors, pages and infos that simply don't load. Please fix this technical issues. At a certain point people just don't have the patience for those errors and give up. It's a shame.
I love letterboxd but i kept getting redirected into ad for no reason? i didn't clicked anything or there's a time that i keep still on the screen but it redirected anyway! please fix this!
always crashes
I was very excited for this app until I realised it does not allow tracking of TV series. I will not use one app for movies and another for TV series, so I am moving on to an app that supports both.
I wish it were more like similar platforms for books, and maybe a bit clearer to use
you absolutely need to add shows so we can have an all in one app to track all of our media watching and ratings. and how come we can't see the total number of ratings? should be a basic "feature" of the app
