The support is horrible. The backend is clearly ancient technology and I don't mean that as an insult it's genuinely extremely outdated. It's shocking how bad this app and company are.

I had to reset my phone because it was crashing. after the reset and download this company and it's poorly designed security features won't let me log in. I was in the middle of selling my bike so now I can't even talk to that person either. Thanks LINE
line bikin ribet sekarang gak bisa login pake hp, gak bisa minta otp, gak bisa login pake email. malah harus pake qr code. ribet banget disaat aplikasi lain cuma perlu chat wa tuk verifikasi, line malah bikin susah dengan minta qr ke hp lama. gak mikir kalo hp hilang/reset bikin susah login line. pantesan makin dikit pengguna line.
This app went deep into the dark pattern, extremely similar to Adobe. Due to unclear process of account transfer, which worked differently each of 3 attempts I have just decided to spend $100 to fix my old phone than to risk losing all or 3months of chat history. Unable to know how long, as fresh backup is not seen by the new device. What a mess of an app.
Please dont give ads on the app... It makes the app look cheap... And please dont erase features that makes Line different from other apps Update: STOP erasing small but unique features! I really like this app but please cancel the plan for erasing features! Just do more promotion and fixes to get new users!

6年間利用しているLINEアカウントにアクセスできなくなりました。旧端末（Android 7.1.2）では今もログイン状態で、通知や通話は受信できます。しかしトーク同期、引き継ぎ、QRコード生成、端末認証が機能しません。メールアドレスとパスワードは正しいのに、新端末へのログイン時に旧端末認証が要求され、その認証画面が表示されません。約6年分のトーク、アルバム、ノートを失う危機です。個別対応をお願いします。
The Japanese version of this app is a bloated mess one puts up with just because it's the default here. Being unable to permanently turn off the AI features (there is only a "hide for 30 days button" lol) is another annoyance on the pile. Why would I want to outsource messages on a message app?
I have not violated ANY terms of service and my ability to message people has been restricted!!! I literally message ONE person on there who had asked me to message them on there and now I cant send any messages! Website is garbage and has no clear way of contacting support!

The app restricted my account because I added too many friends? Completely acceptable.
useless, if you ever had an old account on old phone good luck trying to install on new phone. unless you have access to old phone etc it's impossible. deleted again. should be taken off the app store as it is not fit for purpose. garbage

Terrible app, I have just started using line and my account got suspended without any reasons. There is no information why I got suspended, whether suspension is permanent or not and there is no way to contact support to solve the issue.

Im having Line to connecting with friends since 2015. I recently lost all of my data from my phone because my phone is broken. Now i want to loggin back to my line account, but i cant. It says that my email is not registered. Im asking for help, but it means nothing. After sending the inquiry, the results is nothing. I have everything inside my account. All photos, memories, everything's gone, and they won't help me👎. The only app i used to contact my girl for decades, my only one.

Account blocked after 1st message. I installed the app because it's needed for my Japanese course in Tokyo. After adding a Japanese friend and writing my first message, my account got suspended because of "violation of terms". What a bad app is this?

Good when it works, unfortunately it's not working at all. I Can't add friends, not follow or check out accounts. It just gives me error messages. I followed the recommendations and cleared the cashe, and eventually uninstalled it to try to reset the app. Now I can't even log in.
