never works for me, always spits out an error no matter what. support is useless

Now I will never get logged in to my line account anymore no matter I have registered it with my email. that sucks. I will never sign up again for a new account. thanks.
Needs an option to disable AI permanently

so apparently you have to have and use a Gmail acct to use. And it will lock you out saying to check some primary device that doesn't exist.

For the past 6 months or so my friends, family and I have either not been getting notifications through or we get them and when we tap into the app there are no messages to read. An hour or so later we log back into the app and there are messages we haven't read?!? It has been an ongoing problem for months. It is very frustrating for this to happen all the time. Can the technical team have a look into this please!

Can't even reset my password. Literally every step required the old phone to scan QR code. Then how on earth people who lost their phone can login again? There are no option to reset password via email or phone number either.
Bloated, full of unnecessary features.
A company like LINE is inserting ads into its app. It's a sign that it's about to go bankrupt.

Awful app, Awful customer service. Signed up for app for a school international trip, then account gets suspended for unlisted reason (didn't even use the app yet). troubleshooting said to reinstall and now won't let me log in because it thinks it's a new device. customer service is an unhelpful automated response that won't help me regain access. absolutely garbage app
While using camera, it show black screen. w t f. it is ok now after updated new ver.

The new update is really bad, I don't want AI in my personal chats I want to use my brain and emotions when I try to chat with people not accidentally press the 'let AI FIX it for me' - WHICH is much larger and intrusive than the previous one. what do you mean I can only hide the AI temporarily? What do you mean I can't back up chats anymore because it's now a premium feature? I've used this app for over 10 years. This update is awful, and if it's like this where I travel next, I will uninstall

AI を無理やり導入するのやめて欲しい。 チャット画面の一番下にAIアシスタントボタンが置いてあるせいで、使いたくなくても押してしまうし、設定では一時的にしか非表示できない。意地でも使いたくなくなります、、
What's up with that new Ai feature for chats? Why can't I disable it? Why do I need to hide it for 30 days every 30 days? Who designed and approved something like that??
useless app can't use in Singapore won't load
I downloaded it to keep in touch with classmates, I verified my age thru the app , then it started giving unknown error messages and banned me for 50 days. I've never used it on another device or with another number, but it says verification is blocked instead of sending me verification text. There's no support or customer service in the app to solve this, and the support email auto replies asking you to log into line in order to submit a request for support.
useless junk, can not even search for contacts, returns some error constantly. ads too... why people even use that junk, they dont know good messengers like telegram exist, or even whatsapp for this matter...

Friends list was deleted and I have no way of recovering it. Also, they just added AI garbage tools, and you can only temporarily hide it.

My phone broke, so I got a new one. Now I cannot sign into this app. It won't let me sign in without access to the app on the old phone but the old phone is broken. Now I cannot contact any of the people I was talking to on Line. This is asinine.

If a person in your chat uses LINE AI, it shares your messages with OpenAl even if you've opted out . This is a huge breach of privacy. Also, you can only snooze the AI "feature" for 30 days, not permanently. If I didn't need LINE for work, I would have deleted it.
I scanned somebody's qr code and I can't find this person anywhere... Tried to reach LINE support but they only offer automated service (I wasn't expecting someone available all the time but at least a free format assistance option where to write what happened and/or whatever you need)... Not a great experience
Recent update added mandatory AI nonsense. Settings allows the user to "temporarily" remove inane AI auto-writing prompting but only for 30 days. What's the point of a messaging app if you're going to try to get me to have a machine autofill my every response?

I enjoyed using the app, but the non-existence of customer service means I may never recover my account. My old phone was damaged and the data is gone. I got a new phone and reinstalled the app. Unfortunately, I forgot the password, but for some reason, LINE does not make it easy to recover any password. The links appear broken. So despite my best efforts, my account is in limbo. Japan produces many great products. However, their chat service lags far behind that of many other countries.
got suspended, a random person chatted, immediately delete them. but then I got suspended. why? hard to contact for help. unclear instructions.

Can't add or be added by friends as it says "user can't be found". Also apparently adding anyone from Japan isn't available from my country. Disappointing.
intrusive and obstructive AI implementation with no ability to disable or remove from chats. privacy concerns, and bad UI. you can hide the AI, but it only takes effect for 30 days and then you have to actively choose to hide it again by going in to a menu. nakedly trying to juice their Usage numbers to justify it to investors.
