Too hard to correct mistakes. You have to press play for each line, so it won't be useful while driving.
Waste of money. I've never seen a UI so ugly and clunky in a paid app. This should be in a free beta.
Not really usable, would not have bought this app if I had had a trial of 15 minutes with it. Interface is unintiutive, online instructions are lacking and seem to have been last updated when Google+ was still active and relevant, and the capabilities don't seem to be there (whether they are there and hard to find, or simply not there, I don't know).
Waste of money. No different than showing a PDF and recording your own lines. Script rehearser is free and already reads the lines from imported pdf. What a waste of time and money this app is. Not user friendly at all.
It used to let me leave a gap where my line is, but now, when I change the setting to leave a gap, it resets it to play them!! Frustrating!!
DO NOT PURCHASE THIS APP! YOU WILL WASTE YOUR MONEY. Extremely Frustrating. Difficult to use. Instructions are poor and confusing and outdated towards the current interface. Spent hours trying to figure it out. Dont use this app, not until they get it together. Wish I could get a refund.

Not recommended - on the basis that the time for your recorded lines is much faster, which is a big problem when you have long lines. E.g. my line takes 12s to deliver and I record it that way, but when I play back for learning purposes, it only gives me 7s. I'm constantly re-recording my lines to guess what the time gap will actually give me. Meanwhile, the speed meter only adjusts the speed of your co-stars' lines, not yours. Interface isn't great as others have said, you get used to it but...
Hard to navigate, not an easy app to use.
This use to be better. Now it's near unusable. Less than a coffee to buy yet I feel like I want my money back! Forget trying to upload 99% of pdfs. The voice pitch change is a gimmick. The menus and interface is confusing and non logical. No update bar a redevelopment from the ground up would fix this app. 2024 and it feels like it was made in the 90s.

The worst app ever. It is not user friendly. If you have like a month to leisurely go through all the videos. It probably won't be as bad. But this is impossible to use without heavy learning required. Just save yourself the time, headache and money and figure out another way. I could import my script but it doesn't help at all. This thing is just such a mess
Very weird interface, and it flat refuses to record most of the time, or cuts off the first 3 seconds of each line. Trouble shooting using the instructions helped (try turning off "high quality audio) but then it showed error codes. When I got in touch with the suggested email address for help, they never replied (Oct 2022, and now again Oct 2023).
Horrible app , waste of money , unable to add more than two characters , difficult to follow and control functions at a quick pace !! Personally I don't recommend
Awful awful not easy to use. Won't let you erase things. Hard to save anything. Over all very confusing to use not worth the money

Garbage on Android. Can't even get it to read a single line, show characters, or anything. The free app after this one on the Google play store is performing better. I need my money back.
I can't even get this working. I keep adding my character but it won't save so I can't even move on and do anything. What's going on? Help please
Could not figure anything out. Finally got a scene uploaded but then was still unable to record lines or do anything other than look at the uploaded PDF. My friends on iOS don't seem to have this problem, so I'm gonna assume they drop the ball on Android development. Waste of money.
I was recommended this app for help with learning my lines. Paid downloaded and opened app and wouldn't leave the permission screen couldn't scroll down to maybe except? Came out of app cleared memory and still couldn't use app so requested refund. Such a shame will find a free one now
Had app for years but now I'm getting a failed to record when trying to record scene. Uninstalled and reinstalled and still no bueno.
"Failed to record audio" each time I try to record a line. Microphone permissions are enabled. Cleared cache etc. Still not working. Fix please!
So glitchy. Volume so low on playback makes it impossible to listen on train or walk. Cuts off beginning of lines. Suddenly lines disappear. What's happened!

I used to swear by this app, gone back to it after a few years and my god, what have you done? Dialogue playback is so low I can understand it. Tried everything but until this is sorted I will be scrapping the app
Doesn't play back the lines properly, it just stops playing halfway through my line. Clearly not working for android and should only be bought if you are an iphone user. Total garbage for Android users and should be pulled from the store.
Don't know how to delete My learn line learner looks different for what is posted online I do not have the apps at the bottom to change things around

Not as reported. Will not read to voice downloaded content. Only downloads via google docs. You have to voice and record all characters. Tone doesn't change. No way to delete mistakes. Wasted $3.99 doing this, and can't get a refund now.
Can't import PDF files. It says to go find the PDF import on the play store but nothing comes up.
WHY IS THE SOUND PLAYBACK SO LOW?!?!?! I used to use this app SO much on my old iphone. I must have recommended this app to every actor I've ever met. It's that good. Made for actors with all the features you'd need. Just switched to a samsung S10 (which I love) but what's up with the android version of this app? Recorded audio is soooooo quiet that it's useless. I've tried recording in various ways and it's still so quiet. Why????? PLEASE FIX THIS. Otherwise the app is dope.
I have an Android (Samsung S9) and I've watched all the tutorials and I cannot get the PDF to upload!! I am beyond annoyed and I purchased this app. I don't even see the option now to enter the text manually!! Please advise ASAP!!

Poor tutorials. Isn't reinstalling easily.
Concept of the app is extremely useful. Unfortunately, the UI is quite unfriendly, difficult to navigate through, and is confusing even when reading the FAQ and watching tutorials. I would advise users to look into other memorization apps or techniques and abstain from using LineLearner until the UI gets a drastic overhaul.

It dosnt work half the time and the apps interfaces are terrible. Its poorly made and even with the right settings turned on it wilo still skip over my lines and its just a whole mess. Find another alternative.
App used to be amazing. Pdf doesn't display anymore since update. Other than that it has been great for years.
This is the best app for learning lines IF you have an iPhone. Had to re-buy this for android and it's a nightmare. There's a half second delay when you start recording. If your trying to learn Mamet or Neil Labute, this is a disaster.
