Have the Plus version in my Tesla... it just drives me crazy to create a FAVORITE list only to find out within hours the list TOTALLY ruined, some stations missing, all completely mismatched! What's going on, fix it for FS! p. s. BTW, look at their useless, no-common sense reply and draw conclusions in regards to the company!

This app sucks! There is a reason it is not commonly used. Rather than a cheaper premium price it has multiple tiers so it's misleading and you're better off with Spotify. It never launches on the first try and glitches out half the time. Paid for a year of tier 1 premium and regretted almost immediately, yet wanted to get my money worth, though it never happened.

Don't bother contacting me to reach out to customer support. You won't fix the issues or make the API usable in integration for things like Discord or Opera GX. I'll bite the bullet and use any other music app at this point.

Used to be a fan of slacker radio..... now it's liveone.. ugh.. they don't go by unlimited skips... go listen to stingray music. They go by those standards.. once you skip too many.. you get signed out for no reason, and you gotta sign back in.... It's like the customer is being punished..... I know how music streaming works.. once you get the unlimited skips fixed... I'll come back
constantly replacing favorite songs with garbage versions and not even bothering to change the labeling so I get to block the garbage songs. the app in general just keeps getting worse more and more changes to make the features I value harder to get to and now the new swipe functions make it far too easy to skip songs an the presets layout.. what a joke
I never knew a thing about and never used any part of it. Why was it installed ? It must be a high tech con jog. Stop This Kind Of abuse !

Well it was good. Now it just plays commercials and then just freezes up. It's not the service, it's the app. Update.....still here in 2025. commercials have gotten so bad I'm going back to Pandora. They play the same commercials over 3 to 4 times in a row. It's exhausting really
ICE propaganda commercials?! really? wow! this is normal? talking about "dangerous illegals?" that's the message LiveOne represents?
algorithm is garbage. I should be able to listen to my custom station for days straight without any repeats. instead I get a playlist hardly any better than FM radio. it was much better when it was still Slacker Radio way back in the day.
what's the point of having a artist you can't even listen too
If you only like about 5 songs then you'll love this app. If you want variety you'll have to use something else.
I have been with the company before it was renamed multiple times over yearsssss. I am slowly going away from the App. The amount of adds and more have increased over 486% in the last few years. They have lost loyal members due to it. Don't use this app. Go somewhere else.

Been a Slacker Radio user for 10+ years... then LiveOne (ok... sure) then more and more interruptions, and less licensed content. Sub up for renewal - Failed via Google Play offering a good deal... Opened a ticket and was to delete existing account and sign back up for 11$ USD a month. more than double the offer amount... Umm. No. Thoughts LiveOne? I was loyal - This was my opposition to using Spotify - TBH. I have/had this on every device. Boo LiveOne - Boo urns.
why am I getting adds when I'm paying for no adds
after 15 years of having an account these new owners have gone completely away from music in order to make as much money as possible with advertisements. the fact that the subscriptions have been watered down during the years to where there are no good reasons to get them anymore to find out they allow more advertisements than music and even if you watch their videos it wont count and will have their ads play during the music. This used to be a music ap now its just ads.
LiveXLive is forcing 3 video ads in a row while driving, and the app requires you to keep them on screen or the music won’t play. This is extremely dangerous and completely unacceptable. No music service should encourage distracted driving just to get through ads. Safety should always come before ad revenue. The developer claims you “don’t have to interact” with the ads, but that’s misleading if you’re using a GPS app, music will stop until you switch back to LiveXLive and let the videos play
premium customer for slacker radio but x live screwed that took my money and doesn't refresh content.They made a lot of money ripping people off. buyer beware of this rip-off music app.spend months or years, making playlists and saving artists,songs, and albums for nothing.
First off i have NEVER in my life had to give a music app my social security number to join it.. Slacker was great..I use to be able to pay for slacker with my card right through slacker. Now we have to go through the info stealing Google to pay for it.. Nah. I limit apps I join. Not joining another app just to pay for this app.. Sort your stuff out cause giving away money sucks to begin with. But to have to jump through hoops to pay a bill just makes stuff not worth it
opened the app started listening to music and my whole phone quit working
I've been paying for commercial-free since Slacker and have always been able to turn off news and sports updates. Then all of a sudden I have news updates I can't turn off. When I asked about it I was told they want to make the app more like traditional radio. If I wanted traditional radio I wouldn't be paying for this service. I hope LiveOne reconsiders this change.
I haven't been enjoying my streaming experience since they removed a lot of the hosts. Jess Wright was what kept bringing me back to LiveOne (since the Slacker Radio days). I no longer have a reason to keep my paid subscription since it now feels like all other music platforms.
Will not load, the channel I want will not load, keeps saying buffering and finally says it cannot connect. I have Fiber Optic internet I can literally do anything I want but this apparently proves otherwise...

Been using this App since it was called Slacker. Was Great then, and has been "OK" since. Lately my Playlists & Stations began "acting" Odd. Playing Songs outside the Station's normal Genres & randomly "Un-Loving" Songs that have been long-time Favorites. It was around when this Service apparently starting Integrating AI, so that may be what happened? Regardless, I now wonder, whenever I try using this App, if it's actually going to Play Music like. Debating if I'll Renew my Subscription.
Why does this app keep crashing? Sometimes it happens while I'm driving and can't open the phone to restart the app.

I was a loyal customer from the Slacker days (2009). I loved their selection and heavy music better than any other music app, but customer service has lost me for good. I started using the app one day last week and noticed that I was hearing ads, which I was paying premium for the option of no ads. Noticed that my subscription was just a basic subscription. Emailed support and told that I was canceled for non payment. Remitted proof from Google and from my bank and still told cancel and rebuy.
this app is the worst I've encountered personally. every fourth song was was one of the genres that I picked in the beginning it continuously play genres that I couldn't stand so maybe I just didn't learn how to operate it right at this point it don't matter.
I was forced to initially use this app for my music, but since then I don't see the value of even paying for this because I can use other music services that are far cheaper and better quality like Amazon music. I pay nearly $100+ a year for the basic subscription, then if you want unlimited skips which is already offered for free by Amazon then you need to pay for it. the Amazon membership is the price of the LiveOne upgrade. I won't be paying for LiveOne next year obviously.
The new update moved song history and ban artist buttons to the middle of the screen and takes more clicks. I've contacted them about mislabeled songs and artists. The same songs are still mislabeled over a year later. It seems like it plays the same 30 songs even though I've had it for years and favorite hundreds of songs. This app used to be great for discovering new stuff, listening to favorites, and user friendly. Now it is a pain to navigate and seems like a broken record.
