Downloaded the pro version and my phone screen was completely black. Not just dimmed but blacked out. The only way to get it to work was by restarting my phone by memory of where the buttons are on the screen. Then once the phone was booted up, I only had a few seconds to uninstall the app before my screen went completely black again.

Used to love this app but since they have stopped updating it's no longer compatible with my phone and the app is malfunctioning. Unfortunate, it used to be the best one out there. Last update was November 2021.
I've been using the free version for a while and decided to buy the pro version last night. The app keeps turning itself off and suddenly my screen goes bright and I have to turn it back on. It happens about every 5-10 minutes and when you're in the middle of a migraine, sudden brightness is not your friend. I've double checked permissions, but still having the same issue. Update: a day or two later and it isn't any better. I may just delete it and go back to the free version.
they do not allow refunds. bad form.
When turn off,the app brightness return to 20%,please fix... Everytime need to use need to set back all the time.

I've paid for it for a better experience since i love the trial one but it seems like the only experience i get here is 'bugging'. Pls fix this
cant lower the screen brightness. i have install my car android but when switch to another apps, always stop working, not work as advertise
Eh, I paid for full version in order to be able to darken notification panel etc., yet after closing the app, this feature stopped working and there is no option to repair it. i have to reinstall app after every closing to grant permissions, because reset doesn't work.
Did not reduce brightness of nav bar and status bar. Absolutely no benefit over free version apart from no ads and does not work as described.
Since the One UI upgrade to Android 11 (16th July 2021) this app, which was working well before this upgrade has started to only work intermittantly, will completely close its self down and I have to re-enable it which is a pain because I have a serious eye condition and extremly low tolerance to bright lights. Hope there will be improvements soon.

significantly slows down my phone, lags multiple apps, makes it difficult to type because it wont pick up on touch occasionally, etc. i don't do much but watch one last show with the dim screen turned on when im winding down, but when it's a struggle to even transition from turning on the dim screen to getting to the home page to clicking on the app i need, its a problem. and it happens exclusively when i turn it on or its still running in the background, otherwise the other apps function fine.
It's alright but I wouldn't recommend the pro version over the light one. It keeps disconnecting itself from the accessibility service which means I've gotta continually restart my entire phone just to get it to darken the whole screen, notification panel etc. Hope this bug gets fixed asap. (using an oppo phone)
It increases and reduces the screen brightness, but the icons across the top of the screen do not change.
Could you add a slider to the notification bar widget? Would make it easier to change brightness when switching between light and dark content, the +/- buttons are really annoying. Also the "pro" text on the icon is an eye sore, I prefer the non-"pro" icon. Could you please give paid users a better icon? I like the app, happy to write a good review if these things are fixed.
- Needs to run at all times. If you close the app, it won't run in the background anymore and the dimming will stop immediately. - If you close the app and open it again, it will ask you to enable accessibility permission again in the settings (even though it's still enabled!) - No filter color configuration. OLED screens will look blue when dimming with this app (great for sleeping! I'm sarcastic blue light prevents you from sleeping, which makes this app pointless).
