I paid $50, and I tried and tried to get into using this app but ultimately it just performs terribly on my phone. It's insanely slow and every edit I make takes literal seconds to render, and makes my phone heat up. I tried Snapseed for raw editing and it was so much faster. I just can't use this app anymore and I'm hoping I can get a refund.
terrible with subscription
It takes forever to download it..Just when you think you done at 100% you wait "almost done" I waited for almost 5mn was irritated I deleted it.I once downloaded it free trial..it is good but its 2 expensive & yu can't save tout subscription..
Nothing for free. You have to pay for simple edits to be able to save.

Working in the apps industry over 30 years but never asked a customer to pay to see sw app large or small. You could be transparent & say you require potential customers to give you their information before seeing any features. Then we don't waste each other's time. No download, No review and no need for a response! Simples or illuminating!
Wasted 4.99 on this app and it can't even open a picture I edited. Just get loading spinning icon. Wish I could get my money back and rate this negative stars. I knew I should have just continued to use lightroom. It may be more expensive but at least it works. Do yourself a favor and skip this app. Now I have pay more money to get lightroom and still have 200 pictures to edit for a deadline. Thanks for nothing Luminar.

I am writing to express my significant disappointment regarding the way your team handled the survey and the scheduling process for the proposed 1:1 discussion about Luminar Mobile features. The experience reflected a level of disorganization and lack of professionalism that falls well below the standard I would expect from a company seeking meaningful feedback from its users.
terrible app
Latest update broke the ability to import more than 1 photo at a time, made exporting an edited photo take longer, and *still* strips location EXIF data from exported photos.

Don't let the fancy looking adjustment sliders and knobs fool you, nothing about this app is special or AI based it's all cheap lame low quality filters and presets, cheap adjustments that any other app can do except you pay an arm and a leg and this one does it worse. Don't buy the lifetime license, this app is nothing but a money grab.
total failure. this program is completely unusable unless you pay for it. it's advertised as a free program and then the minute you download it it makes you sign up join and then it starts pushing trying to make you pay for it in entirety without ever being able to even test it out first. epic failure and absolute trash as far as I'm concerned

not working. a single photo not editing with this app showing the message unable to open phone, plz restart the app or try again later.. after many attempts it's not working!!
The vignette tool is useless. doesn't work post crop.

IMO most intuitive mobile editing app, but now can't save photos without internet. It used to work great without signal. But if I have to travel back home/hotel to save, and send these to the people I'm with on a trip, I might as well just use my much faster and easier to use laptop. Windows app is GOAT Edit I reinstalled the app, but the problem persists. if I'm in a voice only area, wifi is filtered, or no signal, app doesn't let me save edits and often won't even open (2026late June update)
impressive tools. but missing some important tools like... masking, overly, etc. not worth the paid version for using this much tools only.

meh...as stated before this app does the same things my native phone app does. I don't take portraits so I'll never use the skin function. Can"t figure out what the relight function does..thought it would create sunbeams to place in the picture..then tweak direction, brightness, scatter, etc. Guess I was wrong
