IDK I wasn't there. They won't even look at the case. I'm permanently banned... no exceptions. not to mention how much they take from their drivers, it's something like 2/3rds.
persistent and incredibly annoying advertising notifications that you can't specifically turn off. all or nothing. absolute garbage. fix this.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT USE LYFT! IF I HAD RELIED ON LEFT I WOULD HAVE NEVER MADE IT HOME YESTERDAY BECAUSE I HAD USED UBER

I don't know what happened but they hiked up the prices, they take FOREVER to find a driver, and once they find a driver it takes FOREVER for them to arrive, I sent for a Lyft at 7:50 am wait and save was still too high. I waited for them to find the driver, it said 11. minutes arrival time, once it reached 5 minutes to arrive they cancelled the ride to find another driver, now I'm extremely late for work because I have to wait about an extra 12-14 minutes. 😫
after updating the app last night on 5/6/26. I haven't been able to log into the app to check my ride arriving at 5.15am CST
Worst experience ever, they literally charge me $38 to go 5 minutes down the street.And then when I was off work and gonna catch another one , they wanted a hundred and when there's not even no traffic or not , even a friday or nothing
downloaded it, put in my location. said my ride was $16 when I selected to do the ride, the price changed to $25. with no explanation. SCAM!
These people became 2 times more expensive than UBER. Started as alternative to expansive Uber, now have become monsters themselves after overtaking all other ride share companies.

The ride they saying i am on hold for is from March lmfaoo apparently but not in my Ride history and the ride in March price doesnt add up to 115 dollars. this app is whack and clearly steals off loyal customers!
After nine years of driving with Lyft, maintaining a five-star rating and completing hundreds of trips, my account was placed on hold due to one person lying about my vehicle. Not only that, but when I called support, they told me I had to pay for an inspection. I asked if I would have to pay for an inspection every time someone lied(obviously this was an exaggeration to prove a point), and they confirmed that I would. They clearly don't care about their drivers. This was very disappointing.

All your app ever does is overcharge for rides. Sometimes the pricing is complete trash, even if justified by the excuse of surge pricing. Drivers are normally pretty good but the app itself and pricing is terrible. Ultimately, use caution if you choose to use Lyft over the other apps. They are unreasonable.

been waiting 45 minutes for a ride because the AI keeps dropping drivers to giving me to new ones to 'optimize' my ride. A driver was at my house! and the app cancled her cause the car in front of me wasn't optimal no I should wait another 18 min for a new driver! The AI refuses to let you speak to a human to. Deleted my acount and got on a bus.

driver drop me off over an hour walking, got to my house and customer service still didn't have enough time to resolve my issue. Even after I called customer service right away after my driver drop me in the middle of nowhere
Very poor. App let me schedule a ride for the next morning, then rejected my credit card. When I added a new credit card, it then dispatched a Lyft driver to pick me up immediately. The app had no way to cancel the ride, and no contact information to call to correct the time I wanted to leave. Very frustrating.

waited 18 min for my driver then they canceled 4 minutes away. had to wait another 8 minutes for a new driver. Was not compensated in any way. I'm not using this app again. Uber is more expensive but it is at least consistent.
Advertise first time rider discounts.you get a ride and open app with a affiliate then directed to Lyft to sighn in and see a better offer and think that it will be honored but they choose to limit you to the lesser value. Well, what would you believe to be fair? Look into the decision and end up paying full price. Wow, just wow!!!
$65 for a 20min drive. Then most likely the driver will come in a Tesla or some sort of electric car. This company and Uber price gouging the rides. They make up these make believe fees and surcharge the hell out of you.
Absolutely awful customer service. It took hours for them to understand my issue (I talked to maybe 7 agents) and when they did, they kept sending useless copy-pasted text that had nothing to do with the situation. In the end they couldn't solve it but they didn't even say that, they kept saying I should do this and that. I've tried everything they told me to, nothing worked and now because they told me to cancel and reschedule 3-4 times, there is a 200$ dollar hold on my CC and no discount!!!
I had an account previously&stopped getting rides for a long time since I didn't need any&today as I needed one so I reinstalled their app. Unfortunately, since my information has changed&have no access to it, so I tried creating a new account with new info which makes sense, while Lyft kept rambling the same thing, in French we say same "charabia" over&over again, which is absurd. So, they kept going by my old info without even ability to update it on my old account. That's very silly, voilà!

Default tip amount is apparently an iOS-only feature according to Lyft's AI chatbot. Also, there are ads in an app for a paid service. Been on Lyft for over a decade, but if they're going to make it extra work for me to pay their drivers then I'm out.

I have been getting rides through this app but today was unacceptable. The driver picked me up when I opened the door to get in there was tissue with blood then on top of that the car was dirty no shame. Lastly, the driver tried to drop me off at a different location. Then lyft doesn't give you the option to report in detail. Blood is hazardous!!!! Someone can become infected.

Horrible, sharing a brain with Uber,over charging for same routes i take,every since It turned Spring this year.
I put in my notes to pick me up at 4 the driver came at 2.55 and left said he waited 5 minutes for me don't make since to me y'all took 6.50 do not care to use your service ever again

Waiting 30 minutes for someone to pick you up and you cycle 10-15 drivers. That isn't good practice. Now with priority I am waiting sometimes 30 minutes for a drive and I am charged a fee for cancelling a ride that is over an hour away while cars in the area are leas than 3 minutes away. This is a scam company
reserved a ride and got cancelled 1 min before my travel, most likely because I used a discount code
wish I could give them zero Stars all the people that use Lyft should report their asses to the federal government for price gouging and for praying on people that they know need the ride to work or whatever and doubling your price during your morning commute and the part of lack of drivers is a lie there are 11 cars within 10 miles of me and the price is doubled this morning poor samurai I take every day
drivers are canceling way to much! some drivers are also inappropriate and have reported me for the most absurd reasons I got accused of being underage ( even though I have verified my i.d ) so my account got flagged and now I cant call rides anymore!
I dont have a driver's license to uphold a state ID and this app wont allow me to move past entering in a drivers license
customer service is a joke. no real person to talk to. left some high valuable items in the trunk and took hours to get in contact with the driver. when i finally did, he said it wasn't there. lyft is horrible
I used to be a big lyft fan and trusted them all the time. I've noticed in recent months they seem to have an algorithm that jacks up the prices by predicting my behavior. in other words, if I use Lyft to go to the grocery store, they figure I'm locked in on a return trip and they quadruple the price. so then I check Uber and Uber is a quarter of the price. They take me to the bar, then later, based on former trips, they assume I'm going home and quadruple the price.
lyft is deceptive, overpriced, and has horrendous customer support. I'm aware Uber is not much better but these guys are the worst.
