Terrible and mediocre customer service/support. Plenty of free apps do the same thing with a better interface and better user experience, MacroFactor doesn't really have any added value. Also when you scan a new product, the app doesn't read the nutritional label accurately so you have to manually input the information. If you're going to buy a macro/micro tracker, buy another one. This one is not worth it at all.
I canceled the subscription and I have the proof and even the app said to restore i said NO and somehow im still charged for macro .... I need a refund.
Links provided in app use tracking links, they should not need tracking links for a fitness app.

Cannot even try the app until you give them your card information. They bother you with 20 questions before you see a screen asking for payment. Horrible marketing. Uninstalled.
Doesn't work with my device. For whatever reason lots of basic functionality appears to be broken. Infinite spinners whenever I try to import a recipe or use the AI, the support button doesn't open anything, and this is on my first day using it so looking unlikely I'll continue past the free trial. Edit: spoke to support at the time. it was due to Android integrity checks failing despite my own settings telling me I passed all checks. they were unwilling to help any more so I cancelled.
Only has the option to lose weight... not body fat % as far as I can tell also have no selectable option for carnivore diet. 1 star not worth my money.

Unfortunately they couldn't link up my free trial with the new account. Even canceling didnt let me try again. So I almost got forced into paying for a service I couldn't even log into. An absolutely horrible experience.
They recent app update doesn't recognize your current subs when you log in and the AI bot support takes too long to respond during troubleshooting so there is no way you can resolve the issues. It really used to be a great app.

Phishing scam. They require me to enter the password to my email account in the app in order to use the app.

I am extremely disappointed with this app. It repeatedly signs me out of my account, and when I try to reactivate it, I receive no meaningful help. The support system is ineffective and does not resolve the issue. To make matters worse, the app somehow led to me being charged for two separate subscriptions, which should never happen. Experiences like this make it difficult to trust the service. In my opinion, downloading this app was a mistake, and I would strongly advise others to be cautious.
Walked through a long account setup only to find there is a paid subscription at the end. Would have been cool to know that up front.

I honestly don't know how this has such good reviews. I paid for the full year and wish I would have stuck to MyFitnessPal. I've only used this app a week or so and already have things not being able to search up. I've also been trying to log in exercise but so far have not been able to figure out how to do that either. I'm hoping it gets easier a year membership is way too much to not be actually enjoying.

I believe the app is very useful, but the UX is terrible and here's how to improve: - Not having to go through "food plate" when I scan a food. I had no idea whether it was added yet and had to restart the process discovering it wasn't added! - I also got misguided by the hint there's calories tracked at the top of the screen when in "food plates" section - Or even, just tell me things are "unsaved" in food plate section would help too.
great app, I love the way it tracks ease of use. but the application doesn't want to load 9 out of 10 times for unknown reasons. it just stays on the first opening screen which is the MF logo...
It's probably a 4 or 5 star for people who aren't experienced with adjusting their own diets/macros for muscle gain purposes or fat loss without muscle loss purposes. If you already know how to manipulate your macros and only want an app to log foods and track the macros, then it is overly cumbersome. There should be an option in the beginning that simply asks the question if you would like to bypass all of the "AI" and simply use the app to track and log data.
I was using this app, but then I started having issues with random crashes. I ended up using MacroCodex app instead which is free and very simple.
