Mapquest is not accurate! it takes bits from the internet, connects them to a website it thinks is right and links them. Mapquest has a picture of someone else with my business name on it. try to contact them or reach out to get it fixed, sorry, apparently it is an open source that anyone can cut n paste to. I suggest using a reliable app.

Can't save routes, at least from the mobile app. Can't save anything to collections. Mostly useless for my application. Which is to save routes that I plan on traveling.
Trash since update! I want to see the map of all the locations to choose one but some idiot that obviously doesn't use the app makes the "results " list continue to pop up over the map! And now it also doesn't zoom in on what you typed in, you start from a view from space of the earth and have to zoom in yourself to get to the map view! uninstall this joke. Great job messing up what was once a great app. 🗑

Extremely hard to edit contacts, will not save new addresses and you can only have 1 name for any 1 place, very disappointed.
wrong directions
"follow the highway" stupid app took us through some backroads on a trip from ky to vt. 40 miles at 35 and 45 mph. almost lost in NY. and i cannot shut the stupid thing off its killed my battery to 16 percent running in the background overnight
only using it because im hoycotting google. This app always opens to a full view of the US, and when you search a location, it wont zoom in to the place you searched. Search randomly breaks and will repeatedly say "something went wrong"
Read it all. I love this app. Better than any orther mapping system. I wish they would come out with a GPS. That is what I said in 2019. My opinion now? It is awful since the update. One of the worst.
MapQuest got me lost today. it stopped talking in the middle of the rainy day. when it was talking it wouldn't name the streets to turn on. Big fat one star only!

The app used to be great I had no problems with it, until they updated it now you go to look for try to search for food and every time you stop on the map it automatically populates the places that are there popping up from the bottom it's like no I want to continue looking on the map I don't want to be forced every time I stop on the map the listings pop up I know where the listings are at least I did before you updated this app now this app is trash so I'm going to have to find another app now
idk why Mapquest even bothered coming back. unacceptable ad amount and harassment to turn my notifications on. why even bother existing?
No way to return to previous screen. Cannot find a settings option. Couldn't add steps. Couldn't see destination by tapping on address.
Latest update made this pure garbage. Paid version has ads, crashes constantly, will not adjust times when you cross timezones, and will not switch to dark mode even well after the sun has gone down.
OK SO EVERYONE HATES THIS APP. GOOD TO KNOW DEVELOPERS DON’T LISTEN TO THEIR CUSTOMERS. I'M SURE IT'S FOR SOME SORT OF AD GREED. DELETING ALL DATA AND APP.
Okay rpg video game theme, new but driving is NOT a videogame. It's just different but hard to break in. No bike modes now, still tries to kill you by redirecting scooter riders on to the interstate even if avoid highway and tolls is on. My take, use Google maps because it's 100 x safer. Mistakingly used it today forgetting why it's on my phone and almost landed in interstate traffic.
Too verbose. Horrible ux. You want to see restaurants on a map? that actually can't be done without the list of "results" popping up in the way every time you scroll around.
crazy! since update unable to use. used to be clear lines now looked fuzzy stairs steps. Will NOT recalculate just keeps repeating turn left when there is nothing but a lake on the left!! have to pull off road and start from sratch. not send button at end here.

can't get it to work with android auto. it won't appear on custom launch list. I've tried several work around. sucks cause Im beginning to hate waze/google maps
the map was moving fine before the most recent update the audio is terrible the voice speaks a thousand words a sec and speaking jabbering words it needs fixed asap
Map quest was changed recently and I can't stand it! It is extremely difficult to work. It was so very easy before and now I have extreme difficulties; not to mention stress trying to navigate it. Not everyone is tech savvy and being 'old school' these changes are more advanced than this 67 yr old woman should have to deal with!!!!!! your map is useless!!!!
Push notification reminding me *to use the app* -- effectively an advertisement -- woke me up at 3am. Who hurt you, MapQuest devs?

This app took me 15 miles out of my way to get to my destination! It also referred to Road "N" as Road North. Horrible app.
so not the awesome i had anticipated... sad.
the mileage is off from the other Apps. Working as a transportation provider I get paid per mileage and the companies use this app because it's less mileage than the others . really hate it. and it's not accurate to drive with it.
I wish this app hadn't completely changed it's format. It's almost unusable to find simple directions. Need to get a new map app after 10 years
hard pass. the character you pick is very digitized and blocky. They have been out of the game so long. $4.99 a month to be ad free and the non ad version is terrible. stick to Google maps or Waze. They tried to be relevant again. Just not it.
This app and company is a joke. y'all should have just stayed irrelevant!! You're desperate attempt to come back and compete is a joke. you have seriously done nothing but spam radio stations with your horrible advertising. it's been non stop !!! When you advertise as much as you are. it just means your app sucks and your company is horrible!!!! any company that advertises as much as MapQuest does. will never get my business and I hope I'm not the only one on this new trend !

ads are too annoying, Google maps offers better services and doesn't have annoying ads. Google maps is free and im tired of hearing about map quest on the radio after a WEEK. seriously I just want my music when I drive, about to drop radio for youtube music entirely.
Tried to use this to plan a bicycle trip. Routed on I45 through Houston. Deleted. worthless. Not even worth the one star
I used to love this app because it let's you turn off highway setting and I could see steps beforehand. Now it is awful! It doesn't even have the exit number when I am on the highway!! So sad I have to find something else.

This app used to be so easy to find restaurants, hotels, and gas when traveling. Since the upgrade, it has been a pain in the arse! No where helpful/friendly at all!
App doesn't give verbal instructions. Gives NO warnings on hazards and app goes dark, not keeping the screen on even for visual guidance.. Used for less than 40 minutes and 30 miles before switching back to WAZE.
