May 9 2026 and app continually crashes just trying to look at photos of a hotel I've got booked in the Fall.

Non-rooted device and it acts like it's blacklisted by Marriott as an unofficial app. Returns login result 403 (read: access denied) no matter what I do. Will investigate on my end for device configuration conflicts but I don't think I have any that are active. (EDIT: The problem appears to have been fixed as of 2:00PM CDT.)
worthless
prices in the app are consistently higher than searching online while logged out of account
we've been using Marriott for years now. we're titanium elite. The app simply sucks. no favoritism for long -term members. The rates they show are for prepay. it's not until you actually go in that you see that. and it's not well labeled either. bait and switch! so disappointed in Marriott these days.

not worth the effort for how low the discount is, not to mention they choose when to cut off the discount if too many people are using it at the same place.
they have completely given up on mobile key, no search filter, no ability to check after booking and hotels no longer send it..

I can access apps like CITI and Chase without issue, which says it isnt a security thing, it just isnt built due to lack of effort to work on custom Android OS'.
App is essentially unusable. When you enter the number of guests in your family (i.e. 5), the app shows hotel results with a max room occupancy of 4. However, it also won't let you book a room with a higher occupancy limit (i.e. 8) and asks you to edit your guests, as if you have too many.
Depreciating working versions for Android is unacceptable. Write your code so that it's backwards compatible!

why does your include taxes and fees just hide the fee? Hidden destination fees feels extremely scammy.
Booked with 2 guests, reservation showed only 1 guest. when want to modify, keep pop out error....
The login continue failing (#403) while the browser is OK. Uninstall the reinstall with similar results. Cs can only help to advice above but nothing else can be done even informed they are not tech savvy. Continue to pester to write email, but the error code not from us but from your apps. Helpful but no solution.
can get into the app as a guest, but will it let me log in? nope - constantly throws http errors (500 usually). I can log in on the website though, so it seems the app just sucks
Half of the features don't work. Even security verifications keep throwing an error message 500.
Registration failed with a quirky code-looking error message. I can't log in. Reset password gives me a blank password. Error code 500, whatever that means, not listed in FAQ. Bad start to my trip, let's hope it doesn't get any worse.
For a global brand, the basics are missing. It’s essentially impossible to get a clean PDF with all booking details before your stay. Everything is fragmented across screens, and the app keeps you locked in instead of giving you a simple, portable document. The functionality is there for browsing and booking, but when it comes to actually managing your reservation like an adult, it falls short. Not having a proper export or printable confirmation in 2026 is hard to justify.
Online point transfer tool does not work, the same issue reported by many users over years but they never fix it. Customer support always response you quite a few days later by email, very low efficient support team. Nothing to compete with Hilton team...
You never know whether the app will start or just crash. 1 time in 100 it starts, rest just crashes.. 😂
have tried several times in the last few months to use the app, it appears to be totally nonfunctional. it just freezes it throws an error when I try to log in with the same credentials that work perfectly fine on the website (which is also glitchy and sometimes unavailable)
app is trash seems like it's an android thing my buddy who has an iPhone is having no issue. Sucks because work is sending me out and can't use the app for nothing.
Worst outdated hotel. Please do not make any advance payment to the hotel as your hard earned money will be gone it's been more then 15 days my refund is not done. They say the refund will be done in 15 days that's it you keep following up the stupid people will blame their account team just a blame game and no refund. Even after 15 days now no refund. beware before you book.
Booked directly with Marriott for a stay at a Fairfield property, but the confirmation code I was provided was alphanumeric. The app only takes numeric confirmation numbers, so I can't find my stay nor can I use online check-in or digital key. You should really keep your app in sync with your other systems when major changes like this take place.
