But now I can’t adjust the next box, can’t plan meals, and risk ending up with excess food and waste because I have no idea when this one will arrive. The red line for me is customer support. The phone number simply disconnects. Not busy. Not hold music. Just… gone. so I'm going too.

Absolute Scam, After researching forever and using Hello Fresh for years thought I'd try Marley Spoon. I got suckered by $253 off if you order now, figured it was definitely worth checking out. so go through the setup, they make sure to get your credit card early. Try to setup my first delivery and of course I don't have the promised promotion. I figured no big deal it happens, support isn't available, so all I can do is email. also since they've let me pick my recipes it auto orders. BAD

I signed up, didn't see what I wanted(premade meals) and cancelled within 5 mins and I'm supposed to know I have to call to stop you from forcing meals on me? I didn't even confirm the meals. cmon. The way the food arrives makes it extremely difficult. All of the little items and sauces are difficult to find a place for. There are no recipe cards so you have to use the app, but figuring out what is what is difficult. No clear instructions, labels thst show what goes with what meal. I spend more time trying to figure that out then I would just shopping for myself. Not a fan.

Terrible customer service. We tried to pause our boxes while we were on vacation, and they sent us a box anyway and charged us for it. We sent a request in to their customer service asking to refund the box and cancel our account, and put another pause on our boxes while we waited for a response. After 2 weeks of no response, we sent in another request. A week later we got a response refusing to refund us, and were just charged $83 for another box this week. We cancelled our account today.

Worst meal box service ever. Deliveries were random, and I had to ask neighbors if they’d seen my box. Every week a crucial ingredient was missing - like the chicken for a “chicken dish” wasn’t even there. I signed up to avoid supermarket runs, but ended up going almost daily to replace a single item they forgot. The so-called customer service? Completely unresponsive, didn't bother to even respond. Total waste of money, time, and patience.

When contacting customer support, they offered credits towards our next box. We don't want another box so I had to chat with someone about what to do. They offered a $13 refund only

Slow app, stolen deliveries. I'm yet to receive a single delivery because they all get stolen. No refund, but I was offered a credit which sounded like it was a one time thing. The delivery method is useless. The app itself is so slow and clunky it's almost unusable. It alone would have made me cancel even if I got my deliveries. When cancelling they have dark UX patterns to trick you into staying. Stay away from Marley Spoon.

The app is fine and works well, but the service is terrible. I tried two boxes with them in the first, the ice pack exploded and got all over the food and packaging- no refund was applied. They said it was non-toxic, but I didn't feel comfortable service some of the food to my child and some of the produce packaging had holes. The second box which cost me $60+ arrived two days late and needed to be thrown away. I only got a $38 return. The customer was fine, but it was a huge waste of money

Food is still way too expensive and overpriced for what you get for not being able to even let them know the foods that you're allergic to so you just have to hope that you don't accidentally get your food touched by your allergens in the packing. Ie- I'm allergic to broccoli. 1 tiny little kernel will have me in hives and thankfully it's not an anaphylaxis reaction but my Dr says I have the closest reaction to a anaphylaxis without it being it. Ordered my 1st meal box with the Martha & Marley Spoon. Upon immediately opening the package at least 4 items were open, damaged and leaking into the entire box. One of these items was a steak, so blood was all over the entire box. When I called to complain, get a refund and cancel my subscription. I was given a partial refund for the damaged items that I took pictures of. They assured me that if I washed off the other items (that had blood on them!) they would be safe. DO NOT ORDER!

It was so bad it caused me to get dizzy and double vision. The doctor did tests and confirmed it was from the butter steak recipe I ate. They will only refund me for the meal. That's CRAZY. This company is a joke. I still love you though Martha!
