the game was fun back in the day, and probably still is, but ads showing up on other apps have since soured my position with this. bad tactics. 👎🏿

I think it's time to find a new one.
I came back to this game after about a year or so and thought it was nice to come back again. Much has changed with this game in the 8 years it has been out. The enemies are overpowered, your heroes are getting attacked by the enemy while the heroes just stand there waiting their turn until they get one shotted by the enemy BEFORE they get a turn. This does not make for a fun game when you have to ramp up the level of certain challenges to even fully unlock certain characters like Red Hulk.
I've played MSF for +5 yrs. It's a shame how it has turned into a cash grab. I understand it is a gacha game, but the model used is ridiculous compared to other games that not only offer more (gameplay, animation, story, etc), but also have much more reasonable approach to money. They even have "special events" tailored so that only “whales” can play. If this is untrue, I would like to hear from a developer telling me I'm lying. THAT is something that I haven't found on any other gacha game.
so after 8 years of nonstop playing, finally i quit this game. The monotizationis out of cotrol. Now if you dont spend at least 100€ per month, you will not progress. Even now the new charatcers you cant unlock if you dont cough up real cash, that usually means 100€ per character without leveling up. And if you want to unlock it for free, by that time that character will not be viable in any game modes.

Beware, this is a predatory game. It used to be pay to win, now it is mostly pay to play. If you want to unlock the latest characters, then you need to pay Avoid
I can't stay in the game anymore, i used to love this game. but I think I will go find another game with better game, 😏 I can't believe this but the game is worse than back in the past . I believe this is not playing it again 😐.
Stay Away! Pay to Play and Pay more to not win. They took away free cores (gems) and you need to spend thousands a month to keep up and stand a chance. Let the game go
Run. Run away. RUN! Don't come back. It's harder to play f2p. Your best option to even enjoy the game is to spend the equivalent of 3 full priced games every month. it's just not worth it.
Whoever designed the latest update needs to be fired. it's going to kill this game. and who the hell thought the new graphics in war was a good idea. iv been playing this game for almost 2600 days and its by far the worst it's ever been. come on guys don't kill this game. bring back power cores as war rewards. how's this rewind the clock back one weeks and update challenges instead of what ever the hell this new update is.
was fun for a while, but scopely caters to those who spend money and tries to make people spend money at every turn.
They literally sold amazing offers on power cores for a month and then made them worthless. Honestly should be reported... This WILL KILL THE GAME. Like many others, I'm now FTP and will never give SCOPLEY another cent. Hope Dorky talks some sense into someone but not likely. Would give 0 stars if possible.

if I could give it zero stars I certainly would after years of playing and spending some here and there , they go and make it basically full pay to play or do anything . really hope they change it back soon or it'll be some of my last days of playing it

Fun to play but very unrealistic and it's a shame. When a team or someone's overall health is higher than their opponent that person should always win regardless of mods etc. Also it should always be one turn for everyone's attack to one turn opponent. My true rating is about a 1 but I'm being generous. Any updates still seems glitchy. Still losing to people I have double health. Can we get an update or refund please
I think its hilarious the scumbag developers of this game brought back 45 shard unlocks, but decided to put them 100% behind a paywall. way to alienate your player base. Making power cores obsolete is going to do nothing but further ruin this game. Congratulations! The players do not matter, its all about the $$$. If you like games where you get punished for not spending money, this is the game for you!

This game WAS a fun game to play even if you were f2p you could still collect all of the characters without paying and be competitive in the low to mid range. However, just like Scopely did with The Walking Dead Road To Survival it is now COMPLETELY pay to play. The last 3 characters to be released were strictly pay to earn and those character are required for several of the rewards. I've been playing this game now for several years and am going to be unistalling it today. Not worth the effort.

The game is now 100% pay to play amd very expensive. On top of that, they have not released meaningful or fun content for mid to end game players in months. I've been on since the early days and am a very active player. The game is in the worst spot I have ever seen.
Excited to play a game involving your favorite Marvel characters!?! Don't be. This game constantly releases new characters so that new releases out power previous releases. Do you like the Avengers? Well they're trash. Big fan of classic X-men? Garbage! But hey, if you're someone who really loves obscure characters no one ever heard of, you're in luck! But oh, wait. Unless you immediately drop a grand to upgrade them, they'll be obsolete by the time you do it free to play. Welp, have fun!
This game was and has been fun when I was spending a little money, but lately since I stopped, it has been very Free-to-Play (F2P), UNfrienfriendly. They recently shutdown one of the only ways, legal & competitively, that F2P players were able to unlock new characters via power cores. Unfortunately, according to a recent blog by MSF, it's about to get 100x worse. The whole game economy is being blown up and changed, all in favor of the spenders. If you want a FUN, F2P game experience...NOT MSF.

Pay 2 Win
If your looking to play a game that cheats on a reguler basis this is the game for you. Overall the game is fun, however this game is very much pay to play. You can spend months upgrading your toon and it seems pointless. also the amount for upgrading is stupid. This game is all about milking the players for $$$ BIG time. This game also seems to cheat the player base with false stats and lack of obtainable upgrades without paying threw the nose.
Customer service sucks. You need to spend to keep up. You have to play the game the way they want! They have secretly changed setting for tracking in the past. And now that I do not play, all ads on other games show this. Talk about stalking! Worst then a clingy ex girlfriend! Uninstalling.

TERRIBLE GAME
They should update their restriction. There are a lot of content that forces you to build certain characters only to find out they are peak GARBAGE TIER. It feels so bad to waste A LOT of resources on them.
I watched ScreenCrush and he had a code to redeem. He issued it 4/24, I watched and tried to redeem on 4/28. It either doesn't work or is expired. Why even offer codes if they aren't even active for less than a week?
as soon as you log in you get ambushed by a bunch of micro transactions trying to get you to buy stuff. every new character and missions related to new characters requires you to spend money. there is no balance wat to play this game without spending money. if that is your cup of tea then this is your game. it feels like they purposely are trying to get rid of free to play players. they don't listen to their community players at all.
I thought I'd give this game another go, but it looks like my progress has completely reset. I'm very upset.
Look at the AI description of this app. "Players find the game fun, enjoying CHARACTER COLLECTING and rewarding progression." This is not an RPG game it is a character collecting game. The new developers took away almost all of the playable content and replaced it with events that require you to spend money to score points and rewards. There is only one playable section called war. 3x a week you have 24 hrs to play 10 five minute battles. that's it. boring af
Reinstalled the game on a new phone, logged in with Google and my account is gone. horribly managed game edit: I don't know my PID or name and I made no purchases, but I know what Google account made it 😭
I cant anymore. This game is fun and f2p is sort of possible if just want to progress a bit. but there comes a time when it runs head first into pay wall and it's severe. Not 10 bucks here and there, 50 bucks a DAY to get materials to upgrade, characters to progress. By end game if you made one mistake updating the wrong characters say goodbye to months to recoup. This new change with Elite Chapters is a nasty sort of pay to win. Final nail in coffin for me. meta is king in this game. Shame.
Not a new player friendly game. The resources is not enough to catch up to the game. You'll run out of materials needed to to enjoy and access some of the contents. I've played for 2 weeks non-stop and with thousands of characters, they keep adding more and you can't level them up. Dark Dimension is the only game mode I love but can't play it becauss my character's level is too low.
Now this game is pay to win
i played this gam in early 2020, no meta jst farm heroes and build it as u like, now in 2026 its meta and resources are even scarce only build the team or heroes u needed. Msf was a good mobile game. Also can u stop give us 7 star diamond or less if u'd already have cos its superrrr annoying. *edited

2294 days played. Slow, tedious, boring. Moving more towards the pay to win/pay to play model every "update"
been playing since year 1, and i will tell you - we're at the most unfriendly, pay-to-PLAY era of the game as of now. Scopely is actively devaluing their in-game currencies to edge out f2p players in favor of whales, and i can't recommend this for anyone as of right now. do not fall for their illusions of grandeur. if you're not willing to spend hundreds/thousands to be in the top spots, you'll now get a useless slow-drip, as the devs tell you what THEY want you to build up, in all aspects.
Naah, game is frustratingly slow and get placed into fights with endless loops as both sides continuously heal themselves and battle never ends... sorry, I tried to enjoy, just couldnt
