I just left on that occasion. I used to have a macdonalds every week but because of this app I don't. I know this app offers a good deal at times which stops me just rolling in and ordering

The app is currently unusable. A critical UI bug prevents the "add to order" button from responding, making it impossible to purchase a meal. Furthermore, the support experience is abysmal. You are forced to use a chatbot with rigid, predetermined options that fail to address specific issues. Even when free text becomes available, it ignores the query entirely. It's incredibly frustrating that there is no way to report technical bugs within the app itself-a total failure in design.
Will not use it again. Used it twice and got the wrong food!!!

ye not for me just waited 4 hours and then the order is simply cancelled.

How can it be cheaper with deliveroo than your own app!? Yes I have prime but everyone gets free trials all the time....you stink
Requires location sharing to access offers and only refunded £2.33 each when our order was missing all three mcgriddles because they were ordered as part of a meal deal. No way to dispute this as refunds are processed by ubereats but McDonald's sets the amount. Apparently also refuses to add things to basket seemingly at random.
slow app that's made slower by them constantly trying to sell you more everything has a pop up. I just want to order food not have to close a pop up ever time I go to check out
Support asks for photos when there's an issue with your delivery. that's great, except the 'browse files' button LITERALLY DOES NOT WORK. How can McDonald's not afford for even one person to QA their own stupid app? Alongside long wait times resulting in stone cold food and common complaints around the UK with missing items, this has not only made me livid with the experience but has singlehandedly made me never want to eat McDonald's again. Disgustingly poor standards.
The extortionate inflated prices for delivery, (£3.50 for a dbl cheeseburger) bearing in mind you're already paying fees, coupled with the increase in points thresholds for rewards mean i now only use the app for collection.
DO NOT ORDER USING THIS APP, THEY NEVER GET YOUR ORDER RIGHT AND FOOD ARRIVES COLD. THEY HAVE NO APP CUSTONER SERVICE AND REDIRECT YOU TOO UBER THAT LIE SAYING THEY WILL REFUND, BUT NEVER DO. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE YOU WILL EVER GET ORDERING FAST FOOD.
According to my phone I last used this application yesterday as you are aware I amca victim of intellectual property theft, identity theft, benefit fraud and insurance fraud. Your delivery drivers surrounded my flashing their bikes lights after chasing me into the river taff surrounding cardiff Cardiff. All I have to say to you is it's in your hands!!!

I'm giving the McDonald's App a 1 Star ⭐ because you cannot redeem a bacon and egg. mc muffin using McDonald's points , on the McDonald's app you can redeem a sausage and egg mc muffin. I don't like sausage and egg mc muffin 🤢 I like the bacon and egg mc muffin please can you ask the CEO of McDonald's to ask them very nicely to add a bacon and egg mc muffin on the redeem points system please 🥺 I'm begging you.
Good for ordering in store ONLY If ordering delivery too often they leave you waiting 2 hours before cancelling.. That wouldn't be an issue. The issue is waiting over 2 MONTHS to be refunded ordered on 30 March just been told my refund my refund will NOT be issued until 11th JUNE!!!! as McDonald's is ignoring all requests for a refund. I'll stick to just eat in future
terrible app
utterly pointless. First order, ready before I got there, app doesn't say food is ready and display wasn't working. Eventually got my luke warm burger with cold chips. Order in the "restaurant", if you like food warm.
Unable to add anything into the basket for mcdelivery. Everything else works fine however the whole point of me having the app is to order direct from mcdonald's and now have to use a third party
app no longer works, anytime I try to redeem points it freezes on the loading screen and will crash when I first open the app
The app changed the selected restaurant to one several miles away from the one we were sitting in without warning during the order process The restaurant we were in said to contact customer support to get the order cancelled however the only way I could find to try and get help was through a virtual assistant that was completely useless. We ended up driving to the restaurant where the order had been placed and although they did still have our food it had gone cold by the time we arrived.

Recent unfair changes to the points system has put me off, it gave you more incentive to spend more if you got better rewards quicker, but now it just all seems too over priced and un rewarding.

Used it for delivery for first time the sent wrong order and the chat bot witch is the only way to raise a query doesn't work
You cannot tip after delivery
difficult to use, cant use app and pay cash, adding another card and removing current card impossble. staff struggle to use and have not heard one person say its a good app.

They didn't send all the food that was paid for. The driver did not speak any English so would not help. Try to resolve it on the app and it is impossible. Do not recommend.
Horrible. It scammed me I was supposed to get a 4 chicken nugget offer for free from the cards and it takes forever to load so I just reset the app and it disappears. And The customer service isn't helpful at all As if they don't care Don't use this app it's a scam
ordered food at 1101 the delivery driver picked my food up at 1103 as it says on the food bag but the diver didnt deliver my order till 1147 I spoke to customer service and they said there's nothing the can do for me even tho the food arrived freezing cold
absolutely rubbish app. for months now the app says my address is not valid, even though I had numerous deliveries to my home before. contacted mcdonalds who said they fixed the issue, but they have not. now they are just ignoring emails.
Has been great lately at stopping me ordering McDonald's. As others have reported its stopped allowing adding anything to order, doesn't even buffer now just doesn't go. Since I can see comments going back weeks reporting this, clearly they're not bothered about fixing it.

what's the point of this rewards app? a coffee used to be 5 stickers for a freebie. then they move it to the app and it was 1500 points for a freebie....now it's now 2000 points. oh and your constantly spammed with a stupid cards advert . DELETE
Address finder is broken. Can't find many addresses. Can't search by post code. Useless.
