Absolute garbage. Save yourself the trouble. there are real apps out there that are way better.

I want to go to one that like 9 people were going to. but couldn't because it was limited to just 9 people. you think I'm gonna pay 160 a year to be told I can't go. then they send an email saying you got a message. wake me up with it and then there is no message. only message is from them. about paying them money.

You have to email support if you want anything done. Takes days. Meanwhile, you are stuck with some pervert scheduled to be at your event & can't remove them. Additionally, they give people second chances. - You still see ppl & events you blocked
Trash! You can only see events you are actually invited to. If you want tk search events you need to pay. il just stick to the meetup app.

I'm not sure that people are even on this app. and you have to write 40 characters just to say hi on the 1st message, forcing me to upgrade, Not worth the money.
This was an extremely disappointing experience. I just moved across the state a few months ago so thought I'd try this out to meet some people in my new community. The first event I joined didn't have a clear address. Furthermore, there was no place to park around the building at all. I wish there was a number I could call to find the group but I had no choice but to just leave the area. I will not be using this app for anything. Waste of time for me.

This app does not allow you to message anyone. I understand you have to pay a premium but it would be nice to strike up a conversation before you meet.
not recommended #1. unhosted meetups aren't created by a real person and no one from meet5 verifies whether Google Maps info, is current for the business. I drove to a business that was gone (moved) and changed their hours months ago. meet5 had no clue #2. meet5 repeatedly flagged and deactivated my account for being a bot. no person reviews the flags before deactivating the account. you lose all of your RSVPs and they will agree you aren't fake, but they don't fix their AI/flagging.

It's not that they poorly advertise and suggest you can meet people with similar hobbies. It's actually your job as a user to do it for them! You'll have more luck with an actually fully free online message board. LOL.

I tried creating the simplest of events multiple times, kept getting an error message. Terrible.

Half the users on the platform are fake users, bots, or deactivated accounts. There are almost zero user-posted activities. All the activities are just random events posted by the company. They spam you with excessive emails. I had to deactivate all emails right away, because I got like 3 emails for pedantic things within the first hour ("someone viewed your profile!" - but you can't even see who viewed it). Ask you to turn on notifications EVERY time you open the app. Annoying. Uninstalled.
I went to one event. The meet5 team had supposedly set it up. The venue had no idea anything was happening. I had provided a review for a premium trial membership. They never delivered and gave excuses on why it could have happened after two contracts. I've deleted the app. It's another misleading app brought to you by automation promising connection and under delivery on their promises.
There are no events for Younger people (18-25) in my area which does sadden me alot. Furthermore I really wish you could filter the age of people who are allowed to invite & or message you. As a young women ive felt incredibly stressed getting a million invites and messages from older men. Worst thing if you wish to decline these very invites you need to write down A REASON with a required character count! I get the idea of the app is to meet people but come on give me tools to manage my comfort

can't have a conversation without paying.
cool thought but most accounts are bots. you get messaged by someone, click on their profile, and the app tells you that their account has been banned. might actually work in a different part of the US but not really in/around LA.
cool concept, not a big fan of having to have premium to message someone back though
