When I tap on any thumbnail in the Media tab, the photos (jpg) never open in full screen. First I cleared the cache, then reinstalled the app, to no avail.

well this app was amazing till they decided to terminate my account. no warning or anything they just said nope no more account for you. I've had an account for years. And now all my files and family photos, memories are all gone all 7tb of stored stuff gone.
Uploads that don't show up on the active transfers page or in notifications, so you don't know if they're being uploaded or not. FYI- Many public wifi spots block access to this app.
DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. After paying for years, my account was WRONGFULLY TERMINATED with ZERO WARNING. They said that I had CSAM in my files, which is impossible as I'm not a pedo and have never downloaded anything like that, ever. When I asked them which files were flagged, and told them to look at my files and ensure that they were legal, they refused to respond. If you use this service, they will call you a pedophile, delete every file you have, and not even offer to check if it's true.
The download stops in between msg pop ups in notification that I need to upgrade my account to continue the download or wait for 5 Hours. wow absolutely nonsense. no more mega I have been using it for a long time but no more I need this on my phone and will also recommend my circle of friends to stop using it.
worst app.... It takes ages to load a simple image even in good network condition.. Extremely slow.. horrible experience.

Unusable after update. Every launch opens the splash screen and a loading bar that reads "Connecting to server." Loads half way and stops. Cleared app cache, cleared app data, uninstalled and installed again-same issue every time.
What was once a great app is now barely functional and full of ads. Enshittification marches on...

It doesn't open when I want, it stays in sync and doesn't open for hours
MEGA's interface does not consistently display accurate information about what's in your cloud storage. It requires you to manually reload your account in order to see up-to-date data. Storing remote folder data locally is a very weird design choice for a cloud storage service. Files in the cloud can be modified from multiple places, meaning I need to reload my account every single time I access it to assure the data displayed is accurate. Poorly designed product and bad technical support.

After the update, opening shared items has become a big problem and it is very irritating,so need to add a shortcut to the home page as before.
this app was working just fine for years, until things start to change a while back, now with each new version new bugs will introduced, notification issue, stuck at load, etc. Did you change your development team not long ago?

This is like, the worst App of their kind. long story short, I want to download this file that is in .rar 2gb. Somehow not allowing me to download from Browser, Fine. I have an old account of MEGA, so I use those to store the file on my account. EVEN THEN, I still can't download it. FINE. I download the Apps again. Login... waiting for 10 minutes, didn't load.... trying to Register New Account.... same thing happened... I decided to Delete the App and would never touch it ever again.

Oh wow there's a huge quota limit for free tier, I even can't finish download a single zip file (<6GB) and need to wait for 6 hours to reset quota, nice job MEGA, renew a five star to one star comment for you after 5 years
update: sync issue detected, so annoying. update: this is the best storage apps in the world Mega rocks 💓 But no sync folder for android like pc app lol Scanning... do not close the app takes forever 😞

I trusted this app and it removed and permanently deleted all my files and docs assigned with another email address for not buying their storage. I started uploading when it was free. then they changed their policy and the user wont have access to the files if they don't buy mega's storage. What a shame.

watching a show. keeps stopping. tried downloading episode. doesn't work. worked well when I started using and it fell from Grace.
