worst app ever! constantly failes to recall your rewards in the store so you can't use them!
The app workef very well initially. it has not worked in months so I cannot access any of my mPerks unless I have my food delivered access my mPerks on my laptop as opposed to my phone. prefer shopping in the store and picking out my own groceries so no this app is no good

And this isn't based on just 1 experience, it doesn't even allow you to sign in, crashes in the store all the time, etc, etc. Kind of defeats the purpose of the rewards, shopping list, and such if the app doesn't even work properly!
Update June 2026-- still only works sometimes. Constant bugs and issues. Hasn't worked in well over a week. Cannot use it without the "something went wrong" message popping up. I can't scroll through the Buy Again section, and the Favorites on Sale section seems to be gone.

Have to jump through hoops to cancel an order. very slow app
It constantly has one bug or another. I can't even finish a small grocery order without the app shutting down. I'll search for something common like "wheat bread" and it will tell me there are Zero results.
Trash. The app needs a nap of each other store to show you where stuff is. Second, unless you know the specific name of what you're looking for the app isn't smart enough to try to pull up similar items. It's a piece of GARBAGE. Still trash 6/21/26
The app and Meijer as a whole are just awful. And customer service really doesn't care about anyone
Worked great for months. Now, it won't even log in. Have deleted and re-instaaled it several times same result. Use the web page this is a waste of time.
app will not allow sign in. enter user and pw, then app closes. try again? same. uninstall. same. clear cookies cache. same.
Shop & scan works but the scanners at the express checkout will not scan the bar code. Just tried again and it does not scan at express checkout.
your stupid app won't let me enter the card security code. keyboard pops up, but nothing will type.
why is it so damn hard just to see the adds.
Used to be a pretty decent app, now its issue after issue. I guess Meijer has cheaped out for lousy tech support and app builders. Quite frustrating. Makes me want to go back to Kroger and Walmart
Ever since they combined the pharmacy app with the regular one, it works horrible. I can hardly get it to open and the lag time is terrible
Cannot login. Tried at least five different ways within the App (e.g., Sign in button, menu items Account and Sign in, etc.) with zero success--every path just loops me back to home/landing page of App (never presenting a place to enter login credentials). Tried both with VPN on and off (no kill switch), on and off Wifi, too. Samsung Galaxy S22.

I am unable to set my store. and then, on the account page, the page glitches when you start to scroll down.

Horrific, Unreliable, Crashes Everytime. If I can get thru the ordering process without the app.giving me an error message it is a good day. Never allows me to complete order with prefered time slot always have to go back & pick a different time slot. Can't select a pickup / delivery time days ahead like Walmart. Switched to Meijer because Walmart never has things in stock. If this doesn't improve quickly I will start driving 25minutes to next town competitors & do my shopping there.
All product images are significantly washed out. The thumbnails for product images look normal.

I have tried to like this app but it is so slow and never wants to work. It is always giving you error messages but don't try to redo what you were doing like order your groceries. It will say it couldnt do it but then you get a message that it did go through an hour later. So imagine if you try to redo your order, you will be charged twice. This app could be so much better.
I use this app to track my mperks and order groceries as I cannot make it to the store with my schedule. That being said, this app only works when and how it wants to. Some days it works great, the next day you can't look at mperks, then it logs you out, or the new one is you can't view your order.. Great idea, terrible app
***2026 update: the App is still crashing, not letting me log in. The Meijer app logged me out by itself and now every time I put in my credentials the app crashes. I tried updating and clearing cache/data, & restart ing phone multiple times, it didn't help.*** Review: Poorly designed UI. Difficult to find items and very slow loading. Every action (screen time out, viewing another app, etc) puts you back to the home screen and you have to dig to find where you were again.

There are frequent issues with this app. it says you can edit orders, you can't. it says you can cancel orders, you can't. if you add a new card it won't work the first time you add it. The payment page in general is super buggy. There's no nutritional information for food unless they happen to have a picture of the nutrition facts. If something doesn't show up in your order that you paid for you have to call meijer and try to get them to transfer you to instacart. I use it but it sucks.
most barcodes that I try to scan or type in, it comes up as "sorry product not found"
another time when app does not search ANY PRODUCT. I'm done with this store.
has trouble loading constantly, can't tip correctly, and doesn't list all available or delivery products.
app is not safe anymore, locks up when you need to claim the mperks and pharmacy points won't load 😒
Try adding a EBT card I recieved from my child's school. I added it, checked balance, then I get the message "Something went wrong on our end." I closed out the app and tried again, same thing happened. I updated the app and tried again for the 3rd time to just a message that says "sorry you can only check your balance 2x." and now I cant add the card as payment until the next day. This app always has something wrong with it.
Shop and scan doesn't always work. I had to uninstall app then reinstall it.
For the past few weeks, I have been unable to access my in-store receipts on the app. NOW, I can't order a delivery!!! I have uninstalled, reinstalled. Nothing. Changed and updated all sorts of things. Nothing. What the heck happened Meijer???? You need to fix the problem soon. I'm not a happy loyal customer.
