very inefficient
Login keeps breaking every time. I have to uninstall and reinstall the app, to be able to login and top up. This is just crazy, no other app I've used has such issues at authentication/login

Ich kann nicht auf die Optionen zugreifen, Angebote gehen auch nicht. Regelmäßig schlägt die automatische Aufladung grundlos fehl. Ist alles kein Einzelfall, trifft alle in der Familie mit Callya regelmäßig. Das nervt unsäglich!
The worst app I have ever used in my life. Extra complicated, Not a user friendly, lot of unwanted Items and the worst in App navigation. Im a millennial and experienced keypad phones to Latest Samsung S26, from the whole era of Smartphone and apps, Meinvodafone app is the worst I have ever experienced. Horrible user experience.
total verbuggt, nahezu unbrauchbar. Und das bei einer Firma dieser Größe...
1) Captchas in einer app nach login ist extrem idiotisch. "zu ihrer Sicherheit" 2) Die app zeigt die app fast alles im browser an, dh. eigentlich obsolet. 3) wie kann ein Konto einen negativen Rechnungsstand aufweisen wenn die Rechnung noch nicht verfügbar ist. Die App ist sehr unambitioniert.

ich nutze die App nur zum Aufladen meines Daten Volumen. Problem: Wenn man kein Guthaben mehr hat, kann nicht abgebucht werden und man hat automatisch kein Datenvolumen mehr. Dadurch das man kein Datenvolumen mehr hat, kommt man auch nicht mehr in die App weil es nur ohne Wlan geht, also kann ich mein Guthaben auch nicht aufladen, damit ich wieder Datenvolumen bekomme
The app is completely useless for non german speaking people. Even screen translation is disabled! Too bad Vodafone doesn't have customer service for such customers. Only their money is good...
this is starting to be really annoying, like for real the app constantly logs me out and when I'm trying to log in back by SMS I don't receive anything. Plus when I'm paying for internet package they take the money (there was a confirmation from the bank) and I don't even get my internet package! Thats just called stealing! Unfortunately I'm forced to use this app cause that's the only way I can have internet (even if in 99% case it doesn't work) Please fix your app.
A really bad app despite the sleek design. I'm asked to log in on average once every week, and it's a long tedious process because it has to ask for all the permissions every...single...time... 😑
Login funktioniert nicht
after the update the mobile funk login has never worked! not even sms login! seems they want everyone to create a username!!
Ich mus jedes mal, wenn ich mich einlogge die Cache + Daten löschen, sonst bekomme ich immer nur die Login-Maske zurück ohne Fehlermeldung. EDIT: Man kann amscheinend auch nicht die 20-stellige IBAN aus der Rechnung kopieren, noch kann man die Rechnung herunterladen. Man muss also die IBAN wie vor 10 Jahren manuell abtippen. Warum gibt es diese App überhaupt noch wenn man wegen jeder Kleinigkeit zur Web-Version wechseln muss?! Hier wurde 0 Aufwand in die UX gesteckt.
Ich kann mich nicht anmelden, Ich versuche seit Wochen, ich habe alles versucht, ich kriege immer die gleiche Fehlermeldung!!!
Update: kann mich seit Monaten nicht einloggen. Neuinstallation/cache leeren bringt gar nix, login über mobilnetz=fehler, login über sms code = der sms code ist falsch selbst wenn er von der app ausgelesen wird. Als Entwickler kann ich nur sagen: schmutz :/
For the past few weeks unable to login with password neither SMS code. Often top-up doesn't work. Once working app (also in English) was upgraded to total garbage without English translation and possibility to login! How difficult is it to build simple and functional app? All I need is to top-up and change tariffs when needed.
Absolute nightmare of the login protocol among other endless unresolved issues.You should fire the whole IT department and send them to dig sand in Sahara. Boss level of incompetence.

very difficult to use, the translations are only surface level and many standard options are not available. Edit: they removed the translations altogether in the new update. Edit 2025: it's still very difficult to use with no apparent option to translate. Edit 2026: today, the app charged my balance but didn't update my package and instead used that data directly
Terrible I cannot believe a company like this has an app like that. Same complaints from people for the past i years. Unbelievable.
it constantly logs me out then I have to turn off and on my data just to make the internet work for like a minute then I have to repeat that again and again ,and also it take multiple tries to log back in when trying to top up my credit ,I even uninstalled my vodafone app just not to get more annoyed with it .
need a english option
the app is useless for people who don't know German. It is not localized to any languages and it doesn't allow me to make screenshots. So, I can translate what it offers me to do. Maybe it asks me to subscribe to some paid extra services, who knows? upd 2026: the app is still useless, I'm still learning German and use the website instead
nothing works and all parts of the app are overlapping so I cannot read anything it also can't remember me, so I have to upload my contract every time I need to use the app.
not friendly for international people or expats. app is in German no way to switch to English. the Vodafone store is another pathetic place u cannot recharge your prepaid card in store. they just do selling no service available. for international people or expats very restricted payment methods.

Very useful if I want my son to stop using my phone. I start up the Vodafone app and it'll bring it to a standstill before too long.
