I think it's ridiculous that Android Auto and Carplay are options that need to be paid. Considering the price of the car, this service should be offered free of charge as it is with other brands.
Unable to login into the account. The application asks for the credentials, then something happens and everything starts from scratch. I've tried to create another account - same result. Clearing cache, data, reinstalling app - nothing helps. Samsung S23u. Update. I managed to solve the problem. I've just created a new account on a website, now it's possible to login. So the problem is in account creation from the application. I've tested on 2 different android devices, same result.

With regards to your below comment, I have already reached out to your colleagues via the app help tab numerous times and the app is still not working.
Terrible transparency and customer service. Have been unable to log on to my Nercedes account for 4 days now and can't reset my password as no email receive. Customer service advise its been transferred to their technical team and I have to wait until they resolve it. Been waiting 4 days now, no feedback no updates, no idea when its going to be fixed

incompatible with my phone. can't check the condition boxes therefore can't log in. Useless.
keep repeating login screen even after authorisation
if only you could sort the issue I have logged with you. given it's your app on a mercedes and paid for subscription, would have expected more effort towards actually sorting the problem. not good
Mercedes are out of their depth. Basic car features do not work without a local phone on the local app store. Not suitable for a rental from an international airport. Mercedes, you have created a poverty experience at a premium price. If you can't provide an international car, stop selling them outside of Germany. What a disappointment. Mercedes CLA+ EQ.
GLC coupe AMG 2025. Application does not work at all. Car added with VIN number, but no single option shows of the status of the car. Just blank screen. Nothing works at all. Contacted dealership - no help. Contacted application support - no replay. Contacted even twitter Mercedes account - without success. 100 000 € paid for a car without any support, or remote status. My next one will be Chinese brand. At least they are 50% cheaper, apps works and I'm sure i'll get support.
app is flawed.. asking to login in circles... I guess you don't really care..one year old Google pixel. what a shame....
my app is not apping :) can't login. i enter my user name and password and it brings me back to the login page...
Loop login bug. Why you can't fix it for a long time
reported a bug, was told should be sorted in the April updated. updated app as advised not showing available in Google app store. still showing buggy march version. if you going to email that there's an update, how about making that update available. have emailed support, no response so far relating to this fact

Having a forced upgrade that then makes you log in again is great providing your 2FA system works. I've bern waiting hours for a 6 digit code to be emailed, which still hasn't arrived, and I can't log in without it. Years ago Mercedes used to feel like a prestige brand but not any more.
App was good until recent changes. now I'm asked every time I start the app if I'm "enjoying the app", with the only options now being "Yes" or "Later". So I can only say "yes" now or later. Preposterous! UPDATE 23rd April 2026. the app has stopped getting updates from the car yet can still control the car. all screens in app says last update from car was the 22nd. Yet I can still use the app to flash lights, lock, unlock, set climate pre entry etc. this is terrible.
My login does not work. i tried setting up 2 different accounts through the app, but after entering details it just takes me back to login page. the login details work on my pc, so the account is added and so is the vehicle, but at the moment i have no use of the app.
car gets stolen. you click that and it disables your use of tracking...also ALL digital extras isnt ALL
An annoying app that every few days asks to be rated if you don't rate it. It offers only YES or LATER and closing the app and restarting does not get rid of the pop up that blocks all other activity. Ghastly, almost child like behaviour, and a kind of bullying. Well now I have rated it. UPDATE 22nd April 2026 Despite actually rating the device, it still asks me to rate it virtually every time.

I have been surprised for such an expensive car it has so many irritating features.1. can't turn radio off, just volume down. when turned down the radio will suddenly some on . you have to turn the radio down every time you start it. Weird boot locking system. boot can open after you have locked and walked away from car. Lane assist is just so annoying, sometimes stays off but most times youhave to turn it off. No spare wheel. where I live it's a must. Sat nav has a mind of its own. need m Room
Frustrating brand experience. It's said Mercedes is a premium maker, only to realize local service is poor and the app tries to sell what should be already part of Mercedes offerings.
App is discusting. been over 14 days and still says activating digital extras. i took to my local dealer who said everything is fine with car its digital side and they refer me to dealer again and asking me to pay again. discusting service I cant recommend to stay away from Mercedes-Benz enough i was a customer that cane over from BMW after 14 years and was my first Mercedes-Benz C Class and i am glad to say wont be again and will be sticking back with BMW who are the ultimate driving experience
I own an EQS and live in Kuwait, and my Mercedes-Benz dealer in Kuwait refuses to activate it for me, claiming it doesn't work with models before 2026. I've submitted several complaints to the manufacturer, but to no avail. This is unfortunate.
After creating a profile, and pressing sign in, the app just cycles back to the splash screen. Cleared cache, cleared data, reinstalled... nothing works.
I'm using the app almost 4 years now and the quality is only going downhill. The communication with the car always seems to succeed according to the app, but the state is never in sync. Even the state whether the car is being charged electrically is never correct. The app became useless for me.
I should be able to warm up or cool my G Wagon remotely and also take photos/videos from my 360 cameras remotely. Why are these features not available to me in Europe? I'm missing something like Tesla sentry mode on a 160k€ car. You're lagging behind competition. There have been basically no improvements to remote control features for the past 10 years.

Notifications are not accurate. The app and options are nothing for people that don't want to spend hours finding what they are looking for, but the worst is that they are fishing for the services that need to be payed.
click on login and it just keeps looping back to the login. on the browser I try and add the VIN and it says it can't recognize it. so far I can't use the app which is annoying
Have tried multiple times to open the app, including uninstalling and reinstalling. The app just closes and goes back to the login screen. very disappointing and frustrating.

the truck can be open from kilometers far when you accidentally push the wrong button on the key, but you can only close it from 2 meter of the car. Not well design at all.
Seems like an okay app.. Sadly pretty limited if you don't want to share ALL your data with everybody Mercedes want to sell it to...

not even the option to set charging times. and I have the "luxury" line. even a basic Skoda EV has this option... also the linking with another profile that already existed in the car did not work. on the other side, it responds quickly to commands (otherwise this would be a 1 star)
App really useful but please, please, please program it to give you both an audible and visual warning if the boot is wide open just like you get if you leave your car unlocked for a period of time. My CLA boot regularly opens by itself if i have the remote in my pocket and you only find out if you physically go into the app.
Compared to the Tesla app this is dysfunctional, naggy and annoying, can't unlock the cable because you haven't activated some service etc. it's enough to make me regret the car purchase. I work in IT and this is too complicated!
Pre entry climate control seat settings have been broken for over a year. I submitted support tickets about this and they just incessantly gaslighted me about it. EV charging prices are now "variable" and essentially gives them a license to increase the rates to astronomical levels. I've switched to another charging provider.
I've got 2 cars in the app. One doesn't open the doors when I press the button (it keeps loading but nothing ever happens) and the other car keeps losing the button for unlocking the doors all together. It pops back in the button selection after I've unlocked the doors using my keys only to disappear again. The heater button doesn't activate, so I need to go outside to see if it is actually on. It's frustrating.
