Be very careful relying on OneDrive for important files. I had a paid storage subscription for years, yet after a period of inactivity all my files disappeared permanently. Microsoft admitted data can be removed even if you continue paying, simply for not opening OneDrive itself regularly. No recovery, no logs, no accountability. Family photos and important documents gone forever. Never trust this as your only backup.
1 star rating AGAIN, after my last 1 star, 7 months ago. Files won't download, even after it says the file has started downloading.

Send an occasional email with updates instead of breaking flow here, you donuts! I don't want you to bu photos, how many times I need to tell you!

This app does nothing. I have been trying to to access this app so that I can read file 26-1200341, but have had no success . Does this app work?

Some photos are failing to upload from my Samsung mobile phone over wifi. Really annoying. 4 years on I've still got this issue in May 2026. It's probably worse than it used to be.
I know that I have certain files in specific OneDrive folders but when I open the folder in the app on my phone there are only some of then. I tap refresh multiple times, it refresh but still nothing after multiple more tries the files starts to show up. I cannot express how terribly this works. App pretends that is has refreshed properly and there is not anything else even though there is. It should show you the list of all files instead and show some bar that it is syncing. Stupid lying app
Has no download button. No built in file management that can be seen from other file managers. You literally can't upload something to your cloud then save it to your phone. Worthless app.
Not very click and go.. I was using Lens to scan my documents to pdf and it was great to have a dedicated app for that. Now for some reason you need OneDrive and decided to give it a try. First I had to log into Microsoft account (ok why not..) then the app decided to sync all my photos without warning and exceeded all my Microsoft space... Please keep it simple...
the app hasn't worked in the past several weeks. files won't open or download. It takes 20 minutes to open a file and load contents. sometimes the files will never load. its become completely useless to me recently.
