Only solution is to have DJI engineers do their job and test with Pixel phones. Just getting into this space and was going to have DJI be my ecosystem. Now seriously red thinking and using everything BUT DJI. Frustration level maxed out.
1GB!!! download just to unbrick a camera I paid $200 for?! AND it needs full access to phone and location before you can do anything. No thanks. Uninstalled the app and returned the action camera.

One of the worst app design I've seen, very hard to use, no auto connect, and as I'm using DJI mic mini2, they force selling the rx and cutoff the functionalities if you only buy tx
i edited a 3minute video and the video got corrupted and jumped to 82 minutes with me stretching a clip all my editong gone down the drain...horrible app
Don't update to 2.9.1 if yours is already working. Its completely ruined the app and half the things no longer work when using auto tracking. It loses the subject immediately. Gesture control doesn't appear to start tracking without a face and you have to keep turning the mode on, if you leave the box open it doesn't pick up gestures. These are just a few things but if you use auto tracking I would say the app is unusable. It still works OK with standard camera and no app.

i use Galaxy S24 Ultra. yet the mimo app is supper slow/laggy. i recently bought a dji 360 and i kinda want to switch to insta. this is my biggest regret since i switched brand.. i hope this issue will be fix soon

I always have some bugs or issues, but I am not able to connect with my Android from days before. The connection to the iPhone is fine
Installing 1 gig app to use a microphone?! is it a joke? not a fan that they combined all the functionality in 1 app. So if you need just a piece, like to add a microphone, you need to sacrifice >1gig of your phone space.

Terrible app. The camera gets locked off without it too. Terrible way to run a company with the "give us all your data or else" approach. Firmware update just crashes and install button doesn't work. I would give this ZERO stars if I could. update. app is literally complete garbage. to get 8k I need to update firmware. firmware wont update as the app insists on connecting directly to camera via WiFi. so I lose my internet to connect. who the hell thought this was a good idea?! DO NOT BUY
Completely useless. This app crashed 10 times in 3 minutes. Insta 360 was far better. I am going to return my gimbal and get rid of this useless app.
I bought a osmo pocket 3 creator combo. it's only been 3 days and I'm already having problems with the app. I am not sure why but when I download a file to my phone, it tells me that I cannot see the video. I just don't understand why this is happening with a device that I paid $682 for, the camera is great I love it. I can see all my videos on it just not when I download them. DJI fix this!
It’s practically worthless because it’s impossible to connect the Osmo 5. Even when you finally manage to, the app crashes. Xiaomi Redmi 13.
linking to phone terrible as it will link easy and sometimes not. Won't transfer videos easy remotely by Bluetooth/wifi. it comes up with sound but no video. when remove card to put on phone to extract videos it's black screen. I have a Osmo Action. it's my first Osmo camera. terrible DJI doesn't allow updates saying too old

The DJI Osmo Mobile 8 doesn't working on Google Pixel 10 Pro tracking issue. This DJI product was released on November 2025 and the Google Pixel 10 Pro was released on August 2025... Five months have passed since your product was released. Can you fix the problem please?

When connecting a camera to the Internet for Livestream, the app insists that passwords cannot contain symbols. 100% incorrect. fix this. reinstalled the app, cannot connect the camera now
I was wondering why this app had such a low rating. The first time I downloaded it, I opened it and checked that everything worked and now when I try to open it, it doesn't even load up 😂😂😂. Quickly found out why.
DJI need to sort their software out - on Android it's useless, hanging, not responding. Something so simple like record a short bit of audio is impossible - how in 2026 they're this bad is beyond me.
Will crash randomly while downloading a video, lose the progress, AND STILL USE STORAGE UNTIL IT'S UNINSTALLED. Really ridiculous.

Great 360 camera, but worst companion app. Causes phone to overheat and always crashes during the export, even at 1080p. Most of the reviews here seems to be neglected by the developers.

The App itself is not bad though the help and contact section is completely useless. I sent an email and never got a response try to do a live chat with it agent and it literally doesn't give you a place to type a response back. so customer support is non-existent.
used osmo mobile 8 and it's quite horrible. Firstly on the mimo app Trying to use hand gesture to lock onto you or to record/photo isn't possible show your palm? It start/stop video. Peace sign? same thing. I went through settings too. Second When tracking the Osmo mobile 8 movement is very slow. even when I put it to the max speed on setting Still Nope. Also why do you need my location to pair with devices? Bluetooth work just fine...
