Had to start using this app as the council have switched from Ringo, which was so much better. I used Ringo mainly to purchase resident visitor parking. You can't do that with the MiPermit app and you have to log in and use the online portal. Absolutely ridiculous!! If you're not home and need to do visitor parking, which happens to me a lot, this MiPermit app is useless 🙄
Absolutely avoid this app. It's riddled with bugs, constant error messages and broken features. The only thing it did reliably was take my money. After I paid, it couldn't even display my parking ticket, leaving me with no proof I'd paid. Other people in the same car park had exactly the same problem and couldn't verify their parking either. Completely unreliable, not fit for purpose, and should not be trusted.

Outrageous that they charge a "convenience fee" when the machines within the car park are broken to the point that the app is the only option, and a parking warden is going round saying you have to use the app or leave. There is nothing convenient about it. If you're going to put it on, at least call it what it is, a service fee.
would not let me extend from 3 hours to 4 so had to let it expire and add fhen add the additional hour. very poor.
clunky and hard to use. the app and Newham parking system not intuitive and a mess.
Absolute nightmare getting the app to accept my payqment. I selected start immediately and it kept saying that I couldn't have a start date/ time in the past 😬😬😬

Easier to just pay by card at the machine. Nearly always issues whilst using app. 1st it said my registration wasn't recognised as was not a UK Plate, then it said payment wasn't authorised so parking wasn't paid for, used a different card which went through then once home it had charged both cards so I paid twice!

without doubt the worst of the parking apps. Terrible. Would rather take the fine than waste my life trying to make this work. Useless. One star is generous. Awful. Terrible.
used to be a great app, now it barely loads. for all the money they're making - this is an appalling service. why does every good thing turn to sh**
I just want to pay for parking
Shocking, it errors after payment and there's no confirmation of the permit. So you do it again, a few minutes later you've been charged twice and now have two permits for the same place and the same car. Zero contact details and no way to contest the issue.

Utterly frustrating. Poor customer experience. I have a permit to renew but the app tells me I have none on my account. proper rubbish
WARNING! App gave me a payment error and no receipt but the money has been taken from my account.

Rubbish system .. have to set alarm for 5.55am to be able to renew parking whilst on holiday .. no options to extend.. went to machine and it would only allow me to pay from 10pm to 1.50am .. what idiot set these parameters

app has become unusable recently. unable to log in, unable to reset password, unable to find locations
I had a parking ticket at Gloucester docks after using this app to pay for parking. I successfully appealed it but it was pretty annoying. if you pay for parking when not logged in you will not be able to extend it. if you already have an account when you log into it your parking session will not exist
Wont work. Comes up with suggestions 30+ miles away only, was supposed to have a permit for work and it doesnt show on the system anymore - unclear why, has just been removed and says I have no permits. I didnt know it was taken off and I now have a parking ticket to fight - no help or contact functions on the app. Next few weeks are going to be a nightmare.
