"price"

★★★★★ "Really cool app and love the pixel art, but a subscription for this is absolutely ridiculous to the point of uninstalling. If there was a one time price like the Paprika app, I would buy it." - David P

★★★★★ "The app itself is really cool but the subscription model is a scam for the price. If there was an option to one time purchase that would be more fair." - Gerrit Sampson

Don't trust adverts, all are scams

Mixel added an AI sloptail generator. What a joke. Cancelled my subscription.
Adding an AI component to "help" people develop cocktails is an insult to the bartending industry as a whole. Get rid of this clanker nonsense and MAYBE I'll consider coming back.
have to pay
It would be good if it weren't subscription only. I'm sure some people are okay with paying $24 a year, but for something that I can just Google recipes, or buy the book to directly support the author, it's just too much.
Seems cool but the button to add ingredients to your bar is broken
absolutely horrible UI.

no options for flavored alcohol like cherry vodka or even Jim Bean Vanilla
I paid for all recipes, they've now switched to a subscription and it sucks I lost all my recipes i had access too
Really cool app and love the pixel art, but a subscription for this is absolutely ridiculous to the point of uninstalling. If there was a one time price like the Paprika app, I would buy it.
A subscription service for viewing recipes. Un-installed. I'm tired of everyone trying to make everything a subscription. I would have paid for a straight-up access to the recipes.
Great bar app but not worth a subscription fee , when it's just a flat one time fee then I'll give it 5 stars ⭐
Switched to paying for premium from monthly to annual, money has been debited, but I can't restore the purchase or make use of any premium features.
Apparently I can create over 500+ cocktails with the items in my bar. But I cannot sort by cocktail category! Lots of options but no practical way to sort by what you want to drink or make.
Just spent 15 minutes filling out what I have in my bar, only for it all to be erased after logging in during the tutorial
It would be ok if it did not hide basic well known recipes behind the subscription. Example: Aperol spritz.
The app itself is really cool but the subscription model is a scam for the price. If there was an option to one time purchase that would be more fair.
Too limited.
Cool App, but why the subscription? I dig the pixel art and the library of drinks seems nice, but I don't feel like it's worth a monthly or yearly subscription for me to forget about and constantly be draining my bank account. If it had a free trial and a $5 one time price to unlock it, I might buy it. For now I'm going to look elsewhere.
I really like this app for a lot of reasons but I am not a fan of the subscription style when the main reason I'd pay is to unlock the additional recipes. This feels like it should be a separate purchase option but everything is behind a subscription wall. Please consider allowing one time purchase options for features that do not require additional support or maintenance. You could even release additional packages for purchase.
I got this to reference drinks from specific books. The books are there, and so are some of the recipes, but Mixel specifically states that not all recipes are there, and they may have modified the recipes to suit their own needs or whatever. That defeats the purpose of the reference material I wanted and I'm not going to "fact check" all the recipes I need. I'll just cancel my sub and uninstall.
