mlb app is the home for mlb tv, no now ESPN is the home of MLB.tv. no, wait, now you can only stream tonight's game on apple tv?! why do I need three apps to watch baseball in a single season? this is ridiculous and not worth my time. oh and then you have to have a separate mlb app to get into a game. no wonder we have to have phones the size of small computers. there's an app for every aspect of everything you want to do.

You'll need to BUY a MLB subscription AND a local team subscription AND a third or fourth subscription of other apps who may show your team out of market. If the NFL was sued for forcing the public to sign up, sign up, sign up, MLB needs to be sued too!

the mobile app will not allow me to log in no matter what way I try. I can log in and watch games via my firestick but cannot get logged in on my phone.
I paid for a season of cardinals baseball and this is atleast the 4th game I haven't got to see!!

Downgraded to 1 star. I have paid for the subscription for well over a decade. It sadly gets worse each year. Why do you now force us to watch ads before video highlights if we are paying for the app? The whole point of paying is to get rid of the ads. The final humiliation for a once great app.

Customer service is very unhelpful and unwilling to accommodate customers with subscriptions bought through Google store. I accidentally got charged for monthly subscription and a promo for 65 dollars for the year came out a day later. They would not refund me or apply credit towards the purchase. I will not be resubscribing due to lack of accomodations from mlb customer service and their greedy policies
blackouts on games when not on wifi. I paid for extra innings to watch ALL the games!
How many things can you do wrong? The radio feed STILL isn't synced. And the new issue (it seems like something new goes wrong every week) is that it lets my phone shut off randomly(?). Almost like a time out thing, except it's longer than the selected time out on my phone. And why would you want it to time out on a phone. Sheeeesh what a terrible app for a multi-billion dollar organization.
getting purchased tickets off the app is difficult.

Having "issues with content" no matter what i do it wont let me watch the game.
I cannot sign into this app despite password changes, restarts, uninstalling, etc. As someone with MLB.tv, this is a major pain and makes the service useless.

no customer service. I called, was on hold for 10 mins then disconnected. I purchased this app for my dad. Unfortunately he was only able to watch a few games before he became ill and passed. I was hoping to get a partial refund but it is impossible to get help. My dad was a Royals fan and I am greatful he was able to watch a few games.
Why am I paying $20 a month to be told multiple times in the past week that I can't watch a game because it's being broadcast somewhere else. I paid to watch the tigers play baseball and now I'm being told I have access to some games but I will actually have to purchase other subscriptions to watch all the games I thought I'd be getting. it's very annoying and not worth the money to not know if I'll be able to watch a weekend game with my family.

Went and signed up for mlb+ about two-three days ago and the app has still yet to register that I have mlb+ and won't let me watch any games. Only tells me I need to get mlb+ which I have. So thank God for the free trial otherwise would've gotten scammed. Update: reached out to IT department and they created a ticket only to not reach out to me or update me on what was happening. Went to delete my account and try creating a new account to see if that was the issue but just ran into same issue.

u/d5.3.26: apparently I "don't have access" to watch my game on MLB Chromecast app (after logging in AGAIN), but can watch on my phone. Why? update: @WM, Since you are "presenting" this GARBAGE app, PLEASE FIX IT so we can watch baseball on our TVs, phones, etc! So, so bad, especially for the ridiculous amount of money it costs. Streaming is a joke half the time, if the app even launches. I am hoping someone else figures out how to deliver baseball better because I would switch in an instant.

God bless baseball, but I Edited to 1 stars because in my personal opinion it's just a smarmy bait and switch anti-consumer platform, since blackouts pop up once I subscribed requiring me to subscribe to more streaming platforms to watch. Don't feed the anti consumer apparatus. There's no integrity in streaming sports at present. I recommend not installing and not subscribing.

Slick but stupid... I'm paying $5.99/mo for this service that the app is useless without. very slick, but every time I try to open any broadcast at all, I'm asked to subscribe to the service I'm already paying for. A bummer...
Why are there so many games blacked out? I understand in my area but games in New York against Baltimore. Doesn't make sense. If my team is going to be blacked out every game why do I pay for this garbage app? 5th blacked out game this year. Do better MLB.
Radio stream jumps back to very beginning of stream when toggle away and back, losing your place. TV archive lookd available due to button on radio page, but it wasn't. Went to Watch tab or was taken there when tried to watch Archive from radio stream page, and a giant vibrant photo showing the opposing team celebrating was there, meaning they won. Sure enough, went back to radio stream, fast forwarded to see, and my team had lost. Thanks 4 spoiling games and wasting my time. App luvs to spoil
So the developer of the app reaches out and gives you the same link for mlb CS that is doing nothing to solve my issue except telling me to reinstall the app ,which is useless.. lol. It's like groundhog day. Who is running this operation? I wish I could give a zero star
ordered the free trial but could not sign in to the app. app said it would send a code to my email but i never received it. tried over a dozen times. a week later it takes over $60 out of my account and I still cant get into the app. i want my money back!!!
