Cancelled subscription last year and still been charged!
I subscribed because the ads showed that I could filter by dietary requirements and allergens. I have a peanut and sesame allergy. I filtered out peanut and sesame, searched noodles, and ALL of the recipes it suggested to me had peanut and sesame in them. it seems that "peanut" is not an overarching term and I would have had to manually filter out peanut, toasted peanut, salted peanut, smooth peanut butter, crunchy peanut butter etc etc etc. Same for sesame. unusable and dangerous.
I signed up for the free trial for 5 days. I forgot to cancel the trial and let it lapse. I was under the impression it would charge me for a weekly rate, but the company charged me for a full year. I know this is my fault, however when I reached to their customer service the next day to ask if I could be charged for a week they said they wouldn't refund me at all.
Unable to use at all unless putting in card details, so I uninstalled. Pricey subscription for recipes imo.
It's not great, the recipes aren't very exciting and I can't download the app to my Samsung tablet so I need to cancel my subscription .... if I can find a way to do it!
The app is constantly taking me out of my account and then asking me to register again, despite having an account. The website works but the app is glitchy and not worth the money.
I just want to use the app and trial it without having to commit to completing a VERY LONG survey and providing my payment details. Why is the barrier to entry so high?! If I can road test it, and it's good, I'm happy to pay. But this aggressive promotion and grab for payment is incredibly off-putting.

stupid on-boarding questions 🙄, just take me to app, the app is clear just let me use it. I want to get the 7 day , but it defaulted to one year sub. I backed out to see if there one month selection the app froze. when I return the other options button shows nothing. I like the app idea , hope it works sometimes when ever I try to use it again
frequently logged out and asked to resubscribe (already paid up) when logging back in. happens regardless of whether signing in with google or without and on any device. email to support completely ignored. dont give these thiefs your money!

Hate apps that force you into a "free trial" before you can have a look at it. Most times these trials are hard to cancel and than you have to pay for an app that you don't like or use. No thank you!
It is virtually impossible to unsubscribe from this app. I am now being billed an exorbitant amount for something I have never even used (the trail period just ended right now), because they have made canceling the subscription virtually impossible. Their main email address is not monitored, their help desk email is over loaded so responds are delayed. I feel like I'm being scammed. Looking over the mass of similar comments in the reviews, it seems I am not alone in being mislead.
The idea for this app is great, I might even make my own. But as far as this one goes, I couldn't even get into the app. Why wouldn't you offer a free trial so users can see if it actually works? That is the stupidest thing to do as a developer, and I would never recommend operating that way. When I saw that, I immediately got suspicious, uninstalled the app, and moved on. I definitely do not recommend it.
False advertising of a 7-day free trial. I cancelled in the same hour of purchasing, but saw then that the payment already went off for an annual subscription. I would advise that you do not subcribe if you want to try it out first before purchasing. Google Play store does not want to give a refund either and Mob claims I did it via Google app store and not the website so they cannot assist. Very disappointed that I lost all that money after realizing the app does not meet my needs.
Garbage. So many mistakes in the recipes and ingredients. Not enough recipes to find something of my choice. Some have some weird ingredient or spice nowhere to be found which defeats the purpose of it making the life easy. BIGGEST BUMMER: They list ready to use ingredients (like cooked rice/cooked bla bla) to make list it as less than 15 mins recipe which is absolutely stupid. Didn't last on this app for more than 3 days, just save your time guys.
the idea is good: make a weekly plan, tell you exactly what you need from the shop, etc. at the moment I prepare but when I try to get into the app to start cooking- won't recognise my subscription and will force me to pay again if I want to access the account so I have to improvise and a lot of fresh ingredients get wasted as I would do a different type of recipe. Very slow and useless costumer service
I started a trial and before the trial was going to end I tried to cancel it because I it didn't work for me because of the glitches on the app. When I tried the access the app it didn't allow me to login. My card was charged. I contacted the company to explain the situation and they were so rude. Definitely do not recommend a company like this. so many glitches with their app and still want to charge .
I was charged an annual plan while still on trial and developer refused a refund. Normally, charges happen after the trial expires. I just discovered this when I unsubscribed after less than 24hrs of installation just to make sure I can change the plan to monthly after the trial period. Would give this app a try but the way they work is a SCAM. The way they try to grab money right away shows no product confidence and makes me tell already that their app is very bad.
Misleading "free trial". I was signing up for a 7 day free trial on the app that would charge me at the end of the trial (which is what was stated) but it's charged me straight away. I've requested a refund through google services now which better come through.
DO NOT SUBSCRIBE!!! I'm tring to cancel the 5 day trial and they simply made it difficult for you to do so. I emailed asking for it to be canceled and they responded about being busy with other emails I can only imagine they will respond after the 5 day period ends just so they can charge for the services because the subscription is not showing on the play store and you cant request to it on the app or their site. So they are truly preventing people from ending just so they can charge us.

I was excited the recipes looked nice however the app stopped working the second day. Luckily, I was able to cancel subscription through Google.
Charges you even before letting you use the app. sure you can put up for a subscription by saying things like "unlock more recipes but this app literally asks for money before you even get to experience it.
Do not use the free trial. They will subscribe you twice, once on the app and once on their website, which will take your money before the displayed free trial expiration. Very misleading and no refund offered.
won't let me access the £40 subscription we bought. my partner bought a subscription on her device and when I log into the same account then it asks me to start a new plan, even though the website says multiple devices can access the subscription.
Horrible app. I couldn't even create an account cause the app kept glitching and freezing and sometimes it would just exit on its own, it's like it had a virus.

Scam. They make it impossible to unsubscribe or obtain a refund and block your email if you query their automated response. Very poor customer service and below average recipes. Avoid!

I was not notified when my free trial ended and was charged for a year without any warning! I reached out to customer support and they were extremely unhelpful.
I did not like the way my situation was handled at all, sure it's not the employees fault but something like this shouldn't be possible where a customer can't get a refund because they subscribed on the app instead of the website it's ridiculous. I was charged a yearly subscription when I had signed up for a monthly subscription, I checked my bank account and noticed, I tried getting help but they kept saying thy can't help coz I used the app not worth it.

Bought a years subscription in September 2025, but neither the app or website will recognise I have made a previous purchase. Even if I could get it to work, the app has now completely stopped working.
