It doesnt work it is very bad
I am experiencing difficulties utilizing the application on my new Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. The application either fails to initialize, presenting an error during setup, or, if setup is successful, it subsequently prevents the addition of payment cards. Even the technical support staff at Sparkasse have been unable to resolve this issue. I guess it doesn't support the new Android version and/or devices. This is indeed an unfortunate situation.

It just does not work. It always says: insert the card in the card reader or use another one. My other NFC-dependent features work just fine. Useless.

Usually it doesn't work. Unfortunately you can't add your "EC Karte" to Samsung Wallet since is not Visa or Mastercard.
Sparkasse is the worst bank, I'll soon close my account. Its card can't be added to google wallet, Samsung pay etc and yet this mobiles bezahlen is very buggy. I clear data and type all my bank infos at least once in a month because the app suddenly crashes and can't be opened at all. I recommend switching to another bank with some flexibility.

Hate that this forces you to use your Sparkasse debit and credit card via this app. Open your card up to work with other apps, this is ridiculous
This litterally never works anymore. Apple Pay plus Haspa is fine but this is just unusable.
this didn't require an app, this could have been in google wallet like the other banks who do it. just baiting you to download their app to increase userbase, sad.
horrible.. complete app is in german. can't find a way to change it. banking apps should offer more language options. worst part is that the guy who I spoke to at the bank told me that all their apps are available le in english. please make all your apps available in english. right now it's unusable. once again. horrible
It is very difficult to use the application since it doesn't provide an English user Interface. since most of the international students in Germany face these issues. It would be really appreciated if the application provides a user friendly interface.

Alle paar Wochen muss ich die App mittlerweile auf meinem Pixel neu installieren, weil sie nicht mehr funktioniert. Man steht an der Kasse und die App ist mal wieder ausgestiegen.

Long story short, even after installing the 3rd app (this one) in the hope that ill be able to pay with my phone, i still cannot add the card in my google wallet. it forces you to use THIS bs app as default wallet and it doesnt even let you add any other card like Revolut, PayPal and so on. Really really bad experience, 1 star is unfortunately still too much, it is 2025 and i still can not pay with my phone (with a sparkasse card) because of all of the above. Just dont use the bank.. Nach langer Wartezeit funktioniert die Version 7.0 neben Google wallet als zweite Methode leider immer noch NICHT. Total unbrauchbar. Nach dem App Update hat das nur einmal funktioniert und nie wieder.
Fancy, aber super nervig. Und unausgereift als Softwareprodukt. Warum wird die Musik pausiert, wenn ich an der SB-Kasse bezahle? Die App kapert den Mediastream, selbst wenn Ton und Vibration bei der Bezahlung ausgestellt werden. Absolut unverständlich, wenn man weiß, dass es anders geht und selbst Software entwickelt. Zeit die Bank zu wechseln?
Funktioniert nur in Deutschland, nicht mal im EU-Ausland. Die mir der App verbundene Debitkarte funktioniert aber überall.

Warum gibt es diese app? Es wäre so einfach, wenn die Sparkasse einfach Google pay anbieten würde anstatt wieder eine kack sonderlocke zu haben. edit: Auf dem iPhone wird auch die Hersteller Zahlungsapp verwendet. Nennt doch mal einen vernünftigen Grund, warum ihr da bei Google so komisch seid

Pretty good app but a lot of bugs for Google Pixel users i don't know about other Android devices. It would be better if we could have it on our Google wallet so we can manage it better Sent an email and a week later no response
Sehr funktionale und schöne App. Funktioniert einwandfrei. Ein Problem was nun seit Jahren besteht, es gibt keine Compainion App für die Smartwatch. Generell wird von der Sparkasse nur Apple Pay für die Watches angeboten. Diese wäre noch eine schöne Erweiterung der Zahlungsmöglichkeiten. EDIT: Meine Grundlegende Aussage über did App bleibt die gleiche. Allerdings hat sich seit 16 Monaten immernoch nichts an der Tatsache geändert das es keine Compainion App gibt.
Have to verify at odd and inconvenient times. I already unlocked the mobile with my fingerprint. After verifying, the readers need nearly 1-1 1/2 minutes still to read the card. Without verification, it is read quickly.
Ich habe nur "Wichtige" Benachrichtigungen eingeschaltet aber bekomme trotzdem hin und wieder Werbe-Benachrichtigungen wie "Wussten Sie schon ..." oder Feiertagsgrüße Nachtrag: Heute konnte ich plötzlich nicht bezahlen, da ich erst neuen Lizenz- und Nutzungsbedingungen zustimmen musste. Genau für sowas wäre eine vorherige Benachrichtigung gut gewesen. Die 9-Seitigen Bedingungen öffnen sich in einer Ansicht, in der Text sehr klein und unhandlich formatiert ist, Unterschiede nicht hervorgehoben.
