Gives a generic error for all payment method types without saying what actually went wrong or providing any actionable information so the user has absolutely no idea how to fix it. It also doesn't accept most valid email addresses. I had to dig out an old gmail address from the dust bin because it kept saying my real addresses are invalid. There doesn't seem to be any competency or care for user experience by the team behind this app. Literally unusable. Mo' pla, mo' problems.
I'd like to buy Deutschlandticket for April 2026, but I can choose start date only 1.March 2026!

Super flexibel kündigen und pausieren steht überall, aber erst wenn man es wirklich FLEXIBEL kündigen oder pausieren will, wird man gut sichtbar darauf hingewiesen, dass es nur 24 Stunden vor Monatsbeginn, also am Tag vor dem letzten Tag des Monats, möglich ist. Werde mein Deutschlandticket zukünftig anderswo erwerben, denn das sind absolute Halsabschneider und eine widerwärtige Geschäftspraxis.

Completely useless, the "Login with Google" button doesn't work, I'm locked out from my account now.
It was horrible, I have been one week in Germany from 15th December to 21th Deecember 2025, They took automatic payment and after l turn back to UK, they automatic take transaction from my card, When I realised l cancelled and email them to refund, They said me, our term prosedures, it is this, You should ask customer and people before automatic payment terms. Dont steal peoplemoney, what is different between your company and bank thief on the street, nothing different.

ich versuche jetzt schon seit Tagen das Deutschlandticket zu kaufen, aber ich bekomme andauernd die Nachricht 'Ein interner Fehler ist aufgetreten. Sie können den Vorgang später erneut versuchen'. So langsam nervt es, ich hatte davor nie Probleme gehabt.
I have already cancelled the subscription for December but they are still trying to get payment.
They refused to cancel an autosubscription for December, during the month of November. I removed my payment method to avoid being charged for this service when I wouldn't be using it, and they continued to try to bill me everyday for a month. There is no phone number you call call, and no one you can get in touch with. Beware of this service.
this app just cost me a 113 euro fine, it declined my payment from my card that was working just fine the previous month, so I couldn't subscribe and I went on to buy a card from another place. Next thing you know 4 months later I get a 113 euro fine for not paying my ticket that i did not have. Avoid at all cost please.
sobi got onto the bus and nope the app and screen went blank and it won't show me rhe scan code eor anything even after I came to the app store. and even my Internet is working perfectly fine. I didn't expect that
When needed - app has logged me out, and wouldn't let me log back in. Neither would the webapp, despite having an internet connection.
Das Problem besteht im Nov 2025 immer noch, nur mit anderem Text: "Invalid email - The email address you entered cannot be used."
This garbage nearly cost me a fine. The one time my ticket gets checked and this POS decides not to let me log in. To be clear I did not forget my password, it just disabled the button. Also adding the tickets to my Google Wallet is not automatic so if I forget to do it one month I risk not being able to log in when the moment comes. Not to mention, WHY are you logging me out in the first place??? Maybe if you stop underpaying your software developers they would build something that works?
Their slogan is "Without subscription traps", well I fall for their subscription plan. I wanted to order Deutschland ticket for November, I just wanted to add new payment card and they discounted 58€ for October, on October 31st. I paid 58€ for Deutschland ticket which I can use for 13 hours. Instantly I tried to contact them on their contact form in 4 different ways, I wrote them an email directly, no response. If this is not a subscription trap then what is?
Achtung, Betrugsverdacht! Sie reagieren auf keine E-Mails, wenn ihre App nicht funktioniert, und verlangen trotzdem Geld für ein Deutschlandticket, das man wegen technischer Probleme gar nicht nutzen konnte.
This app is a nightmare. It logs me out right when I need it most. The monthly email shows a blurred QR code that can’t be used for anything. If you lose your email, you lose your ticket and can’t even cancel the subscription. Customer support doesn’t reply at all. I wish there was a real alternative, but sadly the BVG app is even worse.
Awful customer service, if you need some help and something goes wrong in the app, you can't count on their customer service. They have a phone where you call there and they say that there is no phone customer service. it's absurd how bad it is.
Über die App habe ich ein Deutschlandticket erworben, das ich nicht kündigen oder pausieren konnte, da die entsprechende Funktion in der App fehlte. Obwohl das Ticket deaktiviert war und ich es nicht nutzen konnte, hat Mopla ständig und aggressiv versucht, von meiner alten Bankverbindung abzubuchen. Diese Versuche schlugen fehl, und trotzdem erhielt ich weiterhin E-Mails mit Zahlungsaufforderungen, ein Verhalten, das nach meinem Empfinden bereits grenzwertig und in Richtung betrügerisch geht.
Beware. This company is not having proper working payment system. Because of this I ended up loosing 60 Euros on Deutschland ticket subscription otherwise I have to face legal consequences as per their notice. They have multiple companies one for payment handling another for issuing tickets. There is zero coordination among them. They don't have proper customer care number also to discuss the issue.

I have used it for a long time, but that's just not smart, that I can't book Deutschland Ticket starting from the next month. Earlier I could do so, now I can't.

as others said, even registration and login do not work. full of bugs! even the button under the on-boarding screen in not readable, because the screen is not scrollable. I used to use it until a few months ago but now it's useless 😑

Thieves. They take your money and steal it after a couple of days of usage by making your ticket go invalid for no reason.
caution when making use of the services. can almost be called legal scammers. subscription was not correctly terminated and no reminder offered- money is just booked off account. very unhelpful and disappointing customer service (basically no customer service) I would not recommend making use of Mopla.
They steal your money. There was a payment issue on their side (all other payments from my account were going through), because of that the ticket was invalid. I had to buy a ticket from a different vendor, Later I was harassed by a bombardment of emails threatening and asking for payment to be made, so I ended up paying for two tickets because of their own mistake.

Absolutely horrendous service. DO NOT subscribe. My friend took one month subscription (December) and then cancelled it, she received a cancellation email immediately. After a couple of months she started receiving emails to pay for January and February as well!! Even after writing back, they keep harassing her to pay. But seeing the other reviews it seems it's their money extortion technique. Scammers. She plans to sue them.
I don’t recommend this app. I unsubscribed multiple times but kept getting charged due to system errors. Customer service was unhelpful and even refused to discuss the issue further. Very unprofessional-use with caution and document everything. use DB instead

Diese app ist Betrug und Diebstahl.
App war bis jetzt immer ganz gut. Habe jetzt aber Probleme beim bezahlen bekommen und der Support ist keine große Hilfe. Werde nach diesen Monat definitiv App wechseln.
Sucht euch lieber eine Alternative. Ich nutze mo.pla schon länger und es gab ein Mal ein Problem mit einer Zahlung. Daraufhin haben die direkt das Ticket gesperrt, worauf ich auf Mehrkosten geblieben bin (Wochenkarte zusätzlich kaufen und das nur für Frankfurt/M.). Sehr kundenunfreundlich, wenn man direkt so ausgegrenzt wird. 10€ zusätzlich zur Mahnung, die wiederum ganz schnell per Mail kam. Das geht auch sympathischer. Wird bald gekündigt.
First thought it is a good thing with the pause function... But it just doesn't work reliably - not showing what you have done before or a pause from "invalid date to invalid date". But it shows a ticket qr code despite the pause!? My partner even gets charged despite having the confirmation of the pause...
Mein Ticket ist ungültig. Warum? Ich habe mein Paypal hinzugefügt. Ich sehe keine Versuche, Geld von Paypal zu nehmen. Ich brauche es jetzt. Ihre App hält nicht, was sie verspricht. Ich vermute, dass Ihre App nicht richtig funktioniert und nicht geschäftsfähig ist.
