jerky playback on smart TV not with other apps or phone or iPad
the tablet version isn't working. only trailers can be viewed! this is after subscription!
If I could rate it a 0 I would. You pay for a subscription and you dont have access to everything. I was trying to to watch DeBarge and it is "not streaming", so I paid for nothing. COMPLETE TRASH!
do not install this app if you click on the movie you give a 7 day trial I hate it

I just want use Mubi on a smart TV without the film constantly stopping. This is not an issue for me with literally any other streaming app. I keep ruining movie night because I expect too much (the bare minimum) from this app.

the app only has one setting for notifications (alert me from my watchlist), but this is NOT working. I am receiving notifications for "new releases" which I don't want. The whole "notifications" settings need to be adjusted to separate "available from my watchlist", "new releases", etc. Also, there is NO "leaving soon" category (not in app, web, tv) and this is a MUST! Same with "just added". I'm not critizicing the content, but the apps (phone, web, tv). Very basic and simple. Need lot of work
MUBI may appeal to niche film lovers, but for most users, the app feels unreliable, limited, and not worth the subscription price.

the most wonderful movies! But the app and website is total trash. every time it's the same problem. sound but no video on the app (i tried 3 different cellphones, all new models). you then try and watch on your laptop but you can't download movies on the website which means you deal with an endless amount of stopping to buffer which ruins the experience. every night i try watch Mubi I just end up back on Netflix which always works perfectly.
Every 2 minutes, it freezes. very poor quality. it's better to pirate movies than this. you pay for the movies here and also the quality is worse.

I had problems with my subscription. I contacted the site and explained my issue a week ago and was told wait for 2-3 days for a reply. So far nothing.

While I understand the platform doesn't offer the same catalog for every region, it's extremely frustrating to see one place get new releases while another has to settle for the same three films that are available everywhere. Also, a monthly subscription on MUBI isn't exactly cheap especially since student plans aren't even available in a lot of regions
good except can't make full screen on chromebook
Please help... Im going in circles trying to cancel subscription.. Im trying to navigate Mubi ....then Im asked to go to Google play... then I'm told I have no Mubi subscription with play.
so slow and plodding. Completely implausible murders and there was a lack of any real suspense. I really couldn't be bothered whether he was caught or not.
sometimes the sound is not working
it has fewer movies that are boring, but the app it's self its great, but they have fewer movies that are so old or boring , ohh god just wasted my money
cool collection of movies but the app is sooo glitchy.. downloaded this on my Samsung tablet and any time i tried to log in it would just show a page full of code... worked on my phone for one movie now keeps saying check Internet connection even though my Internet is fine :(
made it thru half of a movie went back to resume all it does is freeze every 10 secs now. ive already uninstalled and reinstalled didnt fix the problem. canceled subscription.
There are lots of great films with subtitles, but I'd like to focus on the film itself, and that can be a challenge when having to read the bottom of the screen the whole time. I hope to see filters added to the app so that I can more easily find titles that have audio in my language soon.

The toggle "Disable Dolby Surround" doesn't persist on Android TV. On toggling on, then exiting settings and coming back, I see the toggle has reset. I want to disable the Surround sound since my TV has 2.1 speakers and downmixing is resulting in a bad audio experience. Please fix this ASAP.
