I wasn't happy with the kind of audio so I canceled my subscription. cancel that weeks ago but today they tried to charge my card $99 if you do not stop I will file a complaint with the FTC and also send me the review on the better Business bureau website.
Um... Does the app no longer work on a Google Pixel phone?

The app constantly freezes and stops playing overnight as a sleep aid. I tried everything I could find to give the app unrestricted data access in the background without battery optimization...etc. None of this worked. Tried another competing app and it worked overnight every night. This was confirmed using multiple phones. I love the variety of music and uses for Brain.FM, but I cannot renew or recommend this product to anyone with such a fundamental flaw.
Charged even though canceled
I signed up for a 30 day trial, cancelled the trial and they still took the monthly subscription out. I contacted their customer service team about this and have had zero response. Very very poor.
Edit: Found out that the music is "AI composed" so be aware of that.🙄 From their ads, I had really big expectations, even if few of them went into the "bro" centered for men category which... put me off, I can't lie. But its really just a library of ambient, blippy music that I personally can't bear to listen to. I get that there is definitely science behind it, but I wouldn't label it a miracle. You can get the same effect from YouTube or Spotify. For now, not worth the price tag at all.
I love this app but like I have a problem because I can't use it anymore because my free trial ended and I can't pay for it and I'm currently like 14 and I have sleeping problems and I really need this app to help me sleep but like I can't pay for it so I don't know what to do and I barely can fall asleep anymore

You people are so entitled it's insane 😒😒 I use this app ONCE and it's already asking for a free trial, and i can't get past it. You should make a free version, so it'll persuade me to genuinely buy that free trial later 😭😭 fix your marketing strategy
Brain.fm idea is great, but its delivery needs to be optimized. If you set a one hour timer, at max three music will be played. it is very repetitive, and you need to pass to another music by yourself, if you don't want to listen to the same music for one hour. Although it helps me to concentrate for a while ,sometimes the music just gets me anxious. And i gave up on the cellphone app, because it only works in my notebook.
seems ok its really expensive
Very bad experience, *especially* when I needed / wanted features I truly expected the app to have: * mid-night wakeup: wanted to listen for some sleep stream, but there's no in-app volume control, and the minimum level is annoyingly high -- spotify saved me there :P * offline: did save a full stream for a 4hr flight -> failed from no-connection (!) . Frustrated about the very low value from their subscription, cancelled.
good stuff but the app needs work. it randomly stops and breaks focus. edit for dev: i also sent a support message via the app. i'm assessing if i want to subscribe after my trial
App is good, but even after paying monthly subscription almost for more than 6 months, it is not at all satisfactory. If Ikeep a timer for 1hr, at least the music stops for 6-10 times, which is more frustrating that I get disturbed because of this app instead of getting focused. If this is not sorted within this month, I'm planning to stop the subscription.
it's a great app but I'm kinda sad I can't use it without paying as I'm one who struggles a lot with focus and lots of distractions around me and sometimes my brain won't shut up so this is a wonderful app, I'm a student so I don't really have the luxury of paying for subscriptions like that, I wish there was a way to use this app (maybe like a timer each day like 1hr or something) without paying like Spotify. idk about ads though. Oh well... too bad.
