Fails when there is no internet connection. Some supermarkets don't have proper cellular coverage in store. I would recommend having local db with earlier updates than not able to scan products. Also your previously scanned products that are under review should inform users that the review is complete and whether the product is halal or not. Many products under review for ages. And many mashbooh with no proper process to update or notify the user status changes. Lacks personalisation alot.
the devs are more greedy than devil himself
Honestly, I find the ratings confusing. How can Fanta be listed as mashbooh while Red Bull is marked halal? It makes the app feel inconsistent. I think the explanations behind the ratings should be clearer and more detailed.
I searched "Halal" and it says "Haram" for products that have "Halal" in the image and name.

Not accurate. I scanned Peters ice cream vanilla and it scanned as verified halal. However, I contacted the company and they said they are NOT VEGETARIAN and CONTAIN ALCOHOL.

Okay app. I just got a question. I was wondering about products being ‘halal suitable' and 'verified halal'. When a product is considered as ‘halal suitable' (blue label), whether labelled with prohibitions or no prohibitions, is it still considered okay to eat. I was told if it is ‘verified halal' (green label), it is okay to eat. So I am not sure about ‘halal suitable' (blue label). It will be very helpful if you explain to me because I am finding things a bit confusing. Thanks.
