I found this app to be biased if someone isn’t Muslim, they get banned. I didn’t like that at all and wouldn’t recommend anyone try it.

Muzz is a disgusting cash grab disguised as a "religious" service. The $30/month "Gold" fee is predatory, locking basic filters and likes behind an absurd paywall. It punishes you for actually talking to people by capping conversations unless you pay up. It claims to be for serious marriage seekers, yet the "social" feed is toxic and full of people seeking fake love and interest flings. It’s like fake Tinder with and a much higher bill.

Hello, My account/device was banned around 2 years ago, and I believe this may have been done in error. I was informed that I had violated the rules, but I do not understand which specific policy I broke. I respectfully request a review of my case and clarification regarding the reason for the ban. Muzz is just hookups and scammers. whatever it started out as I guess didn't make them enough money so now they just have men pretending to be Muslims to prey on Muslim women. Then they have scammers who want to have you buy bitcoin. As long as Muzz can make money, everything is okay! Thanks Muzz for keeping it halal and making it safe for people.
From giving 24hr boosts to 1hr boosts and sometimes your profile is shown to absolutely no one during the 1 hour boost. Annoying unmuteable notifications about promotions often several times a day. App also has long down times every time they try to add a new feature. As of March 2026, Muzz also sells your data to third parties. They now not only have ads but multiple sliding pop ups advertising premium. All because they have a monopoly on the muslim dating app market.

This is one of the worst apps I have ever used. I subscribed to the premium plan, and within just one day, my account was blocked without any warning or notification. I did not receive any refund, which is extremely disappointing. I also attempted to contact customer support multiple times but received no response. This lack of transparency and poor customer service is unacceptable. I strongly urge others to be cautious before using this app.
I got a new phone and couldn't access my account. contacted muz team and they were nothing but rude and dismissive after being a loyal member to them. paid over 1500$ over the years. Will write a 1 star review. never again.
Warning to new users: the Muzz verification system is unreliable. My selfie was approved, yet my account was suddenly permanently banned with no explanation. The appeal form doesn’t recognise my email or username, so there’s no way to fix it. The app needs transparency and a working support process.

They added intrusive ads, like it already wasn't bad enough being pestered about gold every 5 minutes.
This is a very poor and pathetic app. They ban users without any reason or explanation, just based on their own decisions. I submitted my real picture twice for verification, but even after review, they still banned me. It’s a strange and badly managed app with no proper facilities. I have sent around 5 emails, but received 0% response. We are paying to use this app - it’s not free - yet the management is extremely poor.

Edit: They've started ads. Casino ads. Is that halal? Reduced the 50 likes per 12 hours to 20. Actively taking away previously free features. Incessant push for gold on every open. I know where to find it, no need to pester me about it. Integration with their social app. Why make two apps then? I don't want it force-fed into me. Previous chats keep disappearing as people keep deleting their accounts. Like hello? I'm the owner of that convo too and need access to those messages.

Very disappointing experience. The free version is almost useless, and even after paying for Gold membership, I didn’t find any genuine matches. The app keeps repeating the same profiles again and again, which makes it feel inactive and poorly managed. Sometimes it even shows profiles from the same gender, which is a serious issue. The platform claims to offer a halal way of finding a partner, but my experience didn’t reflect that at all. Overall, it feels misleading and not worth the money.
"I am very disappointed with this app. Communication with support is nearly impossible. Immediately after I paid for the subscription, my account was suspended without any reason. I have sent multiple emails to their help desk, but I haven't received any response or resolution for over a week now. There is no quick assistance or support at all. DON'T BELIEVE the 5 🌟 reviews! Got removed from site for unknown reasons. I checked my email. Posted photo of my face and honest profile. Maybe they are scammers? Maybe they thought my profile was too honest, perhaps? The photo 📸 camera in the app doesn't work well. Filtering out potential mates doesn't work well either. They must fix their app! *They replied to my email and told me I got locked out for behavior issues, but I didn't receive any proof of this, so I guess you can't even appeal!
